Since 1997, we had many wonderful customers and repeat customers, and we are thankful for your business and your loyalty.
This property is very unique among other Girdwood Alaska accommodations, it has 2 units separated by breezeways and overlooked creek in the Sauna area. This duplex was built in 1983 over the creek, you don't see any house like this in Girdwood and we take good care of this house. The sound of the creek makes you relax also you don't hear any noises from other unit.
You will take a turn with Unit A guests to use our common area such as Laundry room and sauna. Unit B has 2 bedrooms and a loft with one bathroom.
Your private rental Glacier Creek Lodge Unit B accommodates comfortably sleeps 5-6 guests, 2 bedrooms, Loft, one bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Great setting for a romantic getaway, skiing, hiking, family gathering.
With a natural creek running beneath the lodge, you won't find this kind of affordable warmth and luxury anywhere else near Alyeska or in Girdwood Alaska.

You have an option to rent both units if you have a big group, the Unit A has 2 bedrooms and a loft with one and half bathrooms. (vrbo.com/268005)

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay at the condo near the Alyeska ski resort. We came in early May and the home was like a home away from home… Welcoming, comforting! We loved thus place and would consider renting it in the future.

Great home away from home

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights to ski and heli ski in Alaska. The location is perfect to access Alyeska resort, local restaurants, and trails. The home is clean and well labeled and stocked with towels and essentials. The hot tub and sauna were perfect after a day outdoors. Communication with Makiko was smooth and seamless.

Perfect home base for exploring the area.

We were in Girdwood for a wedding and stayed for a week as we explored the area. Great central location for day trips to Cooper Landing, Whittier, and Anchorage in addition to the great hikes and activities right in the neighborhood of this VRBO. Makiko was great to work with, the rental was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Loved having the hot tub after full days of hiking and adventuring! A great stay!

Great rental

Our visit to Girdwood was great! We enjoyed the location of the duplex for trips to Anchorage, Whittier, Coopers Landing as well as a 4-hr. drive to Denali. The living space was very comfortable for our family of four. We especially loved the hottub and the sound of the creek outside! It was well-equipped with all necessities in bedrooms, kitchen and bath. My only concern was the lack of drapery in the shower room. We would definitely rent again!

Great Proximity to Alyeska

My friends and I had a great time on our trip. We enjoyed being able to walk to the lifts each day and getting in the hot tub after a long day of skiing. A second bathroom would have been nice, but other than that we had plenty of room to stretch out.

Best Host Communication EVER!

We rent condos several times per year. The host, Makiko, was one of the most attentive we have EVER had. The property itself has a very unique flow, and a LOT more space than we were expecting. Appreciate everything Makiko! Wonderful ski getaway! -Rich

Christmas Retreat

This was the perfect place to stay with the family! Beautiful and comfortable, the hot tub was amazing. Can’t beat the location of the condo, right at the base of the mountain! We will definitely try to rent this home again.
