Ambassador 124 - Gulf Front - Pet Friendly

When you enter this unit there is a sleeping area with a queen bed, TV and dresser. You then pass through the kitchen to another sleeping area with a queen bed, table and chairs, TV and night stands. This unit has a balcony with 2 chairs and great view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This property is located in a very popular area of Panama City Beach just minutes from Pier Park shopping and entertainment complex, Frank Brown Sports and Aquatic Center, Walmart, City Pier and Gulf World Marine Park. The property has a pool, hot tub, tiki hut, charcoal grills but sorry no elevators. In the unit you will find dishes, silverware, glasses and a single set of towels and bed linens. We do not do daily maid service but there is a guest coin operated laundry room on the property. This unit is what we call "basic beach" i,e. a clean comfortable beach front property without the high price. Pet friendly, two dogs max 50 lbs max each pet.

Basic Beach Stay

Place is as advertised. No frills, just what you need to stay at the beach for a few days. Beds are firm Casper mattresses. Bring your own pillows if you are picky like myself. My pillow has to be "just right." So I always travel with my own. The floors have the standard beach "grit" just like every place on the water So I bring an xtra pair of flip flops to wear indoors. One set of towels are provided, which you can leave outside your door in the morning and a bag of clean ones appear. 😉 Communication was good with property owner via text/phone but not email. We would stay again.

Nice stay

Bill, the owner of the condo was amazing. The condo looks better in person. The beds weren't the most comfortable nor were the pillows. We didn't get a good nights sleep till we were back home unfortunately. I advise people to bring their own pillows. Also, bring your own towels because if you shower daily, you'll need more because your only given 4 for the entirety of your stay. This condo is pet friendly. Its in a good location near Pier Park walking distance if your in to that. We walked across the street to Diegos burritos factory. The swimming pool was nice also. Over all it was a good stay for the price. I just wish the beds and pillows were more comfortable. Sleep is everything.

Great place to stay

The condo was exactly as described, it is actually first floor not ground level which I think was better for the balcony view. Perfect place for 2 ppl but will sleep 4. Bill is a wonderful host, check in and check out very easy, he explains everything you need perfectly. Only bad thing I can say is the ppl that rent out the umbrellas and chairs take up most the beach area and somewhat ruin the view, which is not the condos doing. Overall we had a great stay and will stay again if we go back to PCB. I say if only because it was the busiest beach I’ve ever been and prefer more relaxed beaches.

Had a great time!

The room was clean and the layout was perfect for our family. If you’re looking for a good place to stay near Pier Park for a decent price, this is a great choice. Bill, the owner, is friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location! Get what you pay for!

The location is the best thing about this place at only .5 from pier park, it was walkable for us and we didn’t have to sit in front beach traffic. There are a few things that will help your stay be more comfortable, but remember, you get what you pay for. 1.) Do not try to contact host through the VRBO app. He will not respond, so ask for his number or go through VRBO help to get it. 2.) If you get cold easy, or like more than one pillow, then bring your own bedding. 3.) Bring your own bathing towels as well as beach towels. The ones provided are stained and smell sour 4.) If you need a particular cooking utensil, bring it as well. The condo has basic stuff like a pot, frying pan and baking sheet along with plastic spoon and spatula but not much else. Also there are ZERO paper towels and coffee filters provided, so pack accordingly. 5.) Bring a system to hook to one of the small tvs if you want to watch tv in the evening. Neither tv/remote works very well unless a game system is plugged in to stream on. The tv in the front bedroom is smaller than a computer monitor, so it wasn’t really useable while kids were laying in bed. All in all it was a get what you pay for place, but they obviously aren’t putting money back into it at all and a few things were outdated but the bed was comfortable and it had a great location with a view of the beach.

Other than the view from the balcony, which is amazing, and the location, everything else inside the apartment is falling apart. The towels especially have been through 999 washes... and if you ask for more they will give you more torn ones...
