My Husband and I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. We then raised our family in the historic Village of Garden City on Long Island, NY. When looking to move back to Florida; we knew we didnât want the hustle and bustle of South Florida.
We had family in the central Florida area. While spending time here at vacation rentals, we fell in love with the quaintness, friendliness and beauty of Mount Dora! Because we spent a year living in vacation rentals we are tuned into what works and what doesnât when hosting guests.

This property immerses you in the historic district and local living at itâs best. You have an easy, short walk to downtown, marina, parks, hiking trails, biking, lake, kayak rental, lawn bowling, pickleball, tennis, boat tours, Segway tours and festivals. Live music and sunsets are just blocks from you on any given day. Mount Dora Transit is an extended golf cart that also does pick-ups and deliveries anywhere in the historic district for free (they work for tips). You also get local history of our charming town.
We also provide amenities that make it so you can enjoy all the special events that take place on a seasonal calendar for the area. These include portable chairs for events, swim towels, plastic drinking glasses, water bottles for hikes, picnic throw and a backpack cooler.
