The hosts could not be better. The cottage was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was immaculate inside. The rate was very reasonable and appreciated that there were no pet fees or cleaning fees. I have already recommended this cottage. They had 3 bottles of wine for us, the kitchen was totally stocked with milk, orange juice, different types of coffees, teas, cereals, etc. I have never seen a place like this!!! Ann Finley

Sherri and Ronald were excellent hosts. Every thing you could Joe for was provided. The property has a great privacy with outside gardens and a fire pit patio. Pet friendly too. Thank you both so much.

This is a gem of a gemCould not even start to say what was perfect because everything was to perfection. Sherri welcomed us with open arms . Kitchen and bathroom had all that was needed and more . Clean and smelling lovely when we arrived .Short walk to downtown or golf cart pick up if you need for a small tip only. Been many times to Mount Dora and whenever we return La Petite’ will be our choice of accommodation

This is a perfectly lovely cottage with any amenity you could wish for. There's a private deck out back, perfect for recapping the day's explorations. It's a quiet neighborhood. The host is nearby if needed. And there are dogs!

My two pups and I had a wonderful stay! The accommodations were beautiful and comfortable. Ron and Sherre were perfect hosts, attentive and so kind. We walked from the cottage to downtown Mt. Dora a few times. It's nicely located near parks, restaurants, and shopping. I highly recommend this sweet LePetit Suite!

We have been so many places. I am very picky about cleanliness. This was the the most precious, pristine, well appointed place we have stayed...and it's dog friendly!! The owners are fabulous, they thought of everything! If you forget something, they have it. They provided drinks and snacks, as well! The bed was comfortable, everything was perfect. It was so quiet and tranquil, but close to town. This place is the best! We will be back! I just cant say enough good things about it!

Loved everything about it!

We arrived on the Friday of a holiday weekend. Just a quick getaway for the husband and I and this little cottage was perfect! Sherre greeted us in the driveway when we pulled in. She immediately took us inside and showed us around. The cottage was just as I expected and more. So many little personal touches, too many to list, showed just how genuine are hosts were. The cottage is a quick drive, (not a bad walk) to downtown where everything was happening! I would recommend this cottage to anyone visiting this area both for a short or extended trip. We will definitely be back!

Sheree and Ron were great hosts couldn’t believe how nice the cottage was and Sheree even took our dog for a walk while we were gone. Want ever find a place like that to stay again will definitely go back.

Anniversary weekend

This cottage was a real find! My husband and I went to Mt Dora for a belated Anniversary getaway. Sheree and Ron were very welcoming and went above and beyond with provisions in the kitchen, and toiletries. Area was quiet but close to restaurants and free transportation to downtown available. We enjoyed walking on boardwalk at park on the lake, checking out shoos, canal boat tour, Lakeridge winery and just relaxing at the cottage. Would recommend staying at Le Petit Cottage if you are in the area. Perfect for a couple.

Lovely experience!

My husband and I loved everything about “The Petite Suite”, from Sherre’s warm welcome to the aDORAble decor to the well stocked kitchen and bathroom. All of our needs were anticipated and met. Our only regret was that we didn’t book a longer stay!

wonderful getaway

We totaly enjoyed our stay! This property is better than the pics. Hosts Ron and Sherre are delightful! They make you feel welcome and are available but also not overbearing. I doubt there is anything they haven't thought of to make your stay perfect. We invited Sherre to join us on the quite private deck behind the cottage the morning we were leaving so we could say goodbye in person. She did so gladly and we had a nice time talking and getting to know each other. We would definetly stay here again.

Beautiful cottage

Great location. Our host was so helpful making us feel welcomed. We arrived to find our private driveway surrounded by beautiful gardens leading up to the cutest cottage .Inside very comfortable furnishings and every possible amenity. Our Hostess checked on us daily to ask if there was anything we needed and to make sure everything was going okay. She provided information on some of the places to go and eat and every suggestion was just the best possible. Transportation from La Petite Suites was easy via golf cart service if you need . Our place was in walking distance to restaurants and just down the street from the downtown. We were excited to find this wonderful spot and without hesitation will look forward to booking again in the future to stay at this incredible Cottage.

DUE TO ISSUES BEYOND MY CONTROL THERE WAS A MAJOR FIRE ALONG MY ROUTE OUT OF THE FL. KEYS AND I THEREFORE HAD TO CANCEL MY TRIP. THE OWNER WAS KIND ENOUGH TO REFUND THE COST EXCEPT THE VRBO FEE AND TAXES. I SHOULD NOT BE REQUIRED TO PAY THE TAXES SINCE I DID NOT GO.

Exceeded expectations

This was such a great experience. As stated in many other reviews, Le Petit Suite was immaculately clean, very tastefully decorated and centrally located to Mount Dora. We literally came back from the Highland Street cafe in 3 minutes and Donnelly Street in 5.Ron and Sherre were fantastic hosts: there for any needs you might have but respectful of privacy. They treated us like family, including our dog (who enjoyed the peace and quiet as much as us).The property had everything you could ask for (and more!). All kinds of snacks and drinks on the house and every utensil you could hope for. Just bring your clothes ( though I’m sure they would help you there too if they were asked)In short, this was a fantastic experience and a much needed restful and comfortable stay. Would book again in a heartbeat! Thanks Ron and Sherre!

Ron and I are semi-retired and moved here to Mt. Dora from Miami in 2014 and just love it! We had been in Miami since the 1970's and were ready to slow down , a little! Our daughter discovered Mt. Dora and chose it as the location to open her dream custom cake shop and we followed her here! Greatest decision ever!!!

We fell in love with this property at first sight because of the location and the beautiful grounds. It has only improved with time with beautiful greenery and flowers throughout the property.
