Bring your family or friends down for a great week on the beach at a fantastic price! Island Princess beachfront resort is the perfect place for your ideal vacation!
Our pool view unit offers 1300 square feet, freshly painted, three bedrooms and three bathrooms on the convenient first floor with direct pool and beach access. No elevators! No streets to cross. We have a free assigned parking spot steps from the front door and free general parking on the second level. There is a huge fenced patio and private gate with room to observe the kids swimming, while you enjoy a meal or lounging by the pool. Our pool is heated seasonally and has a hot tub. Island Princess has FREE daily beach service (one umbrella and two chairs) from March 1st-October 31st for guest use. Extra sets are available to rent from the beach attendants.
A small cooler is provided for your use to take snacks to the beach. Enjoy the sugar white sand beaches of Okaloosa Island with some of the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see!
Inside, the unit has been updated with new beds, flooring, stainless appliances, blackout draperies, paint, countertops, cabinets and new linens. There are king beds in two of the bedrooms and a set of twin beds in the third, along with a sleeper sofa. You can sleep six adults and two SMALL children comfortably. The three full bathrooms have shower/tub combination and adjoin each bedroom. Each bedroom has a television and there’s a washer/dryer in the unit. The kitchen is fully remodeled with all new cabinets, countertops and well stocked for cooking with brand new stainless appliances. We include both Keurig and regular coffee makers. The dining table seats six, and extra seating at the large breakfast bar. We provide starter supplies of paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags, bar soaps, shampoo, laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid.
There is an exercise room on the property and a grilling area with both gas and charcoal grills. Due to severe allergies, there are no pets of any kind allowed! Absolutely no smoking or vaping on the patio or in the unit. Exceeding the number of adults is against house rules. We do not rent to persons under twenty five unless accompanied by parents. Island Princess is only 20 minutes from the Destin/Ft. Walton airport (VPS), and only 7 miles from downtown Destin. There are many excellent restaurants, shopping and family friendly places to visit in the area. We hope you choose us for your vacation!

The condo was very clean and very convenient in proximity to the pool and parking. The only downfall was that you can’t see the beach from the patio but we knew that before we got there, the fact that we are steps away from the beach made up for that. Would definitely go back

We loved this location. Steps away from pool and beach. We have 2 adult kids and this was one of their favorite spots we have stayed at. Patio is large area right off the pool. Did not have to fight for a lounger! We will be back!

Perfect 1st floor spacious condo on the beach! Spacious outdoor space with nice furniture. Being near the pool area was wonderful and other guests using the pool never felt as though they were too close to our outdoor space. The condo was clean and nicely furnished. I loved that the condo did not have any carpet! Having 3 bathrooms for our family was wonderful!!! Mattresses were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Property Manager went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful! My next stay at Island Princess will be in this condo if it’s available!

Access on the first directly to the pool is a huge plus. The condo is very nice. The only downside is you can’t see the beach from the unit due to the sand dunes.

We had a wonderful week! Overall a great location/space for our larger blended family and would definitely stay again! Pros: easy access to the pool and beach, close to many local places, communication was easy and helpful, beds were comfy! Cons: a few issues with the condo that were outside of the control of the management/owner. They did their best to address the issues within their control and had a small impact on our vacation.

Great Vacation

Despite the June grass that appeared in July, we had a great week. This property was exactly as listed. Everything was ready on time and clean when we arrived. Location next to the pool was extremely convenient with kids. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic property!! Being on the beach in 30 seconds was amazing. We loved the ground level condo and reserved parking spot steps from the front door. Communication was top notch, especially when we had an issue with someone parking on our spot. Communication was prompt and attention was paid to ensure issue was resolved. Would highly recommend this condo. We would love to stay there again.

Location was perfect for us! Manager was very accommodating so we could drop off luggage to pick up our family from airport! Condo is beautiful and we really enjoyed it! The gas grills were all new and that area was very clean, we used to them twice! The reasons we gave 4 stars it was not very clean we had to sweep and clean the patio the bathrooms still had hair and sand from previous guests also the towels were old and not absorbent. We would definitely stay there again but I would bring my own linens next time.

Wonderful location. The place was clean. Easy access to pool and ocean. Would recommend this condo to anyone. Had a small problem with one of the TV'S however the manager was right on it and it was fixed within minutes. Would love to rent again, unfortunately it has been rented for next year already.

Highly recommend!

My family of 4 were in town for the week for a softball World Series. We had several of the families staying at the same complex. While I really missed waking up to the view of the ocean out of my window every morning it was extremely convenient to have the ground level floor with the big private patio. With having a lot of kiddos in and out of the pool, it was nice to be able to watch them from the comfort of our own chairs. The condo was nice and clean when we arrived and everything was just as described. The ONLY thing I would say to anyone in the future (and this has nothing to do with the owners or the room) but if you want to get in on those free beach chairs, you will need to either pay the $15 daily rate if you want front row (it was pretty much impossible to get front front because they were all paid for and reserved for the week) or get out there early like 7am as soon as they start setting up and throw your towels on the empty chairs. I know the listing says 9am but if you wait until then you’re not going to get any chairs unless you just get lucky. We had our own chairs we brought so it wasn’t a big deal, just wanted to mention that. We had a few issues with others parking in our parking space and the communication with the owner was outstanding in getting that handled. If we ever come back to the area we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect fit for our family of 4 adults and 2 kids. The first floor with private pool access was so nice, especially with small kids. Also super convenient for kids wanting to swim in pool but you need to organize things from the beach on the patio. This also prevented a ton of sand coming in the condo because stored outside stuff on the patio and didn’t have to bring into condo. Beach boardwalk is directly past the pool and not a far walk. Took us less than 5 minutes from our beach set up to the condo, which was super convenient. It says free beach chairs and umbrella but it was actually 17/day to ensure a spot in the front row. The parking spot for the condo was steps away from the door, which was also convenient. We had 2 vehicles and our other vehicle parked closely because it just had to be uncovered parking. Manager is responsive and gave us instructions prior to check in. Condo was even ready approximately 45 minutes early and she messaged us saying we could get in early. Everything in condo was as pictured. It was very damp in the condo and we had to empty the humidifier several times a day. The extra moisture did make it smell like mildew, especially in the bathrooms. The condo provides a start up of every day items like paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, etc., but it is not much if you are staying for a week. Would recommend bringing enough for your stay. This was our first visit to Okaloosa Island and we loved the area.

One of the best condos at Island Princess

We have been going to Island Princess annually for several years now and each time we stay in a different condo. This one is by far the best! The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies, the rooms are clean and thoughtful and the updates made it feel like a home away from home! Thank you!
