An ocean breeze puts your mind at ease. Come relax in this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom oceanfront condo located at “A Place at the Beach” condominiums in northern Carolina Beach (918 Carolina Beach Ave N). Unit 1C

This renovated oceanfront condo is literally just steps away from the beach-access or from the complex's private saltwater pool. After having a fun day out in the sun, you can sit and relax on the deck with views of the dunes as you listen to the waves.

This end-unit is located on the first floor right by your parking spot. This is perfect for those with mobility issues or those who prefer not to carry luggage, groceries or beach equipment up several flights of stairs at the end of a long day.

This unit is situated in an excellent location in Carolina Beach as it is just across the street from a coffee shop/ cafe and market (North End Cafe to-go) and just a short walk (<1 mile ) to several other destinations like Nollie's Tacos, SeaWitch Tiki Bar, the Carolina Beach Fishing Pier and the Boardwalk!!

1st bedroom with king bed and private bath (with standup shower)
2nd bedroom includes queen bed and twin bunk beds with hall bath (with tub/shower combination)
Living room includes a queen sleeper-sofa
Kitchen with new stainless steel appliances

No smoking is permitted in this unit
No pets allowed.

Sheets and bath towels are included (we do not provide wash cloths).
Bring your own towels for both the beach and pool.

Complex also includes coin-operated laundry on-site (across from unit on the first floor), charcoal grills and picnic-tables as well as bicycle parking at the beach access.

There is limiting parking in the town of Carolina Beach, therefore this unit can only accommodate 2 vehicles (each will need to display a parking tag, which is provided for the stay). Unfortunately electric golf carts cannot be accommodated as there is no exterior charging accessible. Gas powered golf carts can be rented or brought but will need to utilize one of the 2 alotted parking spaces.

Code to door didn’t work when we got there . Spent about an hour looking for and finding right rental, then waiting for owner to let us in.Great beach access and location. Bed was comfy.Sofa and loveseat very uncomfortable. Ice maker did not work.Great cookware and utensils.Need curtains or blinds for sliding doors.Overall,good stay.

This is an excellent property in a perfect location with a very helpful and responsive owner. The property is literally on the beach, an end apartment on the ground floor, next to your parking space. The apartment has a master bedroom with a king sized bed and en-suite. There is a second bedroom with a queen sized bed and bunk beds but without making the room seem cramped. Also there is a sofa bed in the living room if you need it. There is a separate full bath as well. The kitchen appliance all look as though they are new and the apartment generally looks fresh and updated. There is a nice community pool and a laundry room with several commercial washers and dryers. The beach is beautiful and patrolled frequently by lifeguards. We had some minor questions about how to find things and Justin replied by text within minutes. I don’t know of any way that this could have been better. Thanks Justin.

Justin was great to communicate with! Super quick responses and very clear and helpful! Everything was super clean when we got there. But the bathroom tub and sink didn't drain very well. When showering you'd end up standing in water that wouldn't drain down. We LOVED the location. This was the shortest walk we've ever had getting to the beach. There wasn't a huge selection of kitchen ware so we did end up having to go buy a 9x13 baking pan for one of our dinners. But overall everything was great! We are happy with our stay!

Perfect Little Getaway Place

This condo was the cutest little place, very clean and cozy. My kids really enjoyed the clean pool which was never crowded, and I really appreciated the onsite laundry capabilities. So close to the beach. The beach right outside the condo wasn’t overpopulated either and made for quick fun. This specific condo balcony overlooks land/grassy areas, but was still comforting to sit out and enjoy the ocean sounds, which were just over the hill. Very worth being on the first floor, quick to come and go. Management communicated almost immediately after messaging. Such an easy and pleasant experience. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful

Location to the beach; right around the corner. Didn't need a wagon or cooler. Location to the pool and laundry: right around the corner. Location to community: right up the street. The place was clean and neat. The instructions were clear and concise. Not too many instructions for checkout. For my first beach visit with my 2yr old Grandson, it was wonderful.

Short trip to Wilmington

First time in Wilmington. Didnt know anything about the area. Drove 4 hours in for our nieces college graduation from UNCW. We were very pleased with how clean the condo was. Rainy weekend so no beach time but the accommodations were great. Pool looked nice and clean. The flowers around the pool area were nice. Only negative thing was the neighbors next door smoked Marijuana alot on the balcony so we had to keep the sliding door closed. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location

We really loved the location as the beach wasn’t as busy where this condo is located. We also loved having 2 separate bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. Only minor complaint is not having more than 2 beach chairs there and not having a shelf for more storage in the master bathroom. Otherwise, we had a great time. We could walk to many different restaurants and the boardwalk wasn’t too far to walk to either. The lock on the door was nice not having to carry around a key card or key to get in. We would stay there again!

Carolina Beach trip

We had such a wonderful experience, they were very hospitable, the condo was ready and clean, nice and very convenient location! Right by the beach the only issue was not knowing the pool was seasonal and not open at the time.Even though it was kinda of an issue at the beginning everything else made up for it the experience was above and beyond expectations!! We will definitely be back again

Close enough to perfect for me.

We are older people with bad knees. This condo is on the ground floor only steps away from the board way path down to the beach. We sacrificed the ocean view for this convenience, but the dunes and sea oats more than made up for it.

Great place on the ocean

Friendly communication regarding the booking. Great unit with everything we needed. Very happy there were beach chairs!! Short walk to beach which was wonderful. The pool was clean and nice lounge chairs around it too. Would recommend to others.

We had a great time at this location. The only complaint is the noise from the people above us but that is outside of the property manager’s jurisdiction! Comfy beds, cozy environment and right on the beach for easy access to the ocean. My boys and I loved the pool too.

Great property. I couldn’t think of a negative about the listing regardless of how hard I tried. House is very clean and nice. The pool area is very nice as well. Walking from the condo to the boardwalk isn’t bad. I’ll definitely book again next year as long as availability work out.

Enjoyed our visit!

The unit was clean and cozy! There wasnt a dust pan which would have been helpful and the bulb was out on the living room. They were doing work and had removed our door while we were there as well. I did love the out door shower and the pool was clean and most enjoyable! The proximity to the beach was ideal as well.
