Drink in the natural beauty as you watch shore birds, deer, fox, and even bald eagles from the privacy of your own backyard. Dockside Paradise offers a relaxing coastal retreat in a prime location just around the corner from local shops and restaurants and a straight shot down the road to the beach, while also providing the opportunity to chill in the backyard or lazily sway in the hammock as you watch sailboats pass by throughout the day. Best of all, this dog-friendly home allows you to bring your furry best friend along for the adventure. And if you are looking to bring your boat on vacation the public boat ramp at NE 55th street is just three blocks away making it easy and convenient to hit the water.

The living area features wood beam ceilings and plenty of space to stretch out and spend time with the ones you love. Richly colored rooms paired with the unique artwork scattered throughout the home make this is truly a one-of-a-kind retreat. The gleaming deep wood and expansive counterspace of the kitchen invite you to prepare favorite dishes or lay out the ultimate charcuterie board for lazy snacking. Gather around the large flat screened television to bond over a favorite movie in the living room, or retire to the lounge for intimate conversation or an engaging game night.

Three bedrooms allow space for your entire group including one king bed, one queen and a queen futon. After a long day full of island adventures, unwind with a relaxing soak in the large tub in the shared bath, or ease weary muscles in the soothing steam shower located in the en-suite master bathroom.

Tranquil, Peaceful property on the Inter-coastal!
We really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, pet friendly, eclectic property! Plenty of space to relax inside and outside on the inter coastal waterway. Lots of amenities and cooking supplies. Very cool shower in the master bedroom. A bike ride away from any beach access and a nice place to just walk. The inter coastal has high tide and low tide, which creates a marshy/no water at certain times by the back dock. This is usually during the day while at the beach. I would say the only downside is there are a lot of flies on the inter coastal side of the house, mostly likely due to the marshy grass, but other than that I would definitely recommend this property.

Not exactly a Dockside Paradise
Not very welcoming. Many locked cabinets. The kitchen was not stocked with dishes for a group to enjoy a meal together. The main living space with the television was not accommodating only had seating for 4 one sofa & lounge chair. There was pet hair covering the carpet and no available vacuum cleaner. The dock furniture is old & some of it broken. We actually had to pick it up because it was blown over. The hammock would not even hold a 14 year old. I would not recommend this property or Oak Island Accommodations. We contacted them regarding the pet hair & the laundry bag left behind, no one came to resolve it.
