Welcome to Sandy Paws, your perfect escape on the emerald waters of Cape San Blas’ Forgotten Coast. Designed for comfort, connection, and carefree beach days, this spacious 5-bedroom home sleeps up to 12 guests and is thoughtfully laid out with bathrooms on all three levels that is ideal for families and groups.



Start your mornings on the large deck, sipping coffee as the sun rises, and wind down in the evenings with cocktails while the Gulf delivers unforgettable sunsets. You’re just a 7-minute walk to the sugar-white beaches and a 4-minute walk to the bay, giving you the best of both worlds.

Bring your four-legged family members along! Sandy Paws features a fully fenced yard where pups can safely play and explore. Maximum 2 pets, for an additional fee.

We hadn’t known what to expect from the Cape San Blas location, but we were pleasantly surprised. We came to fish and relax celebrating my husband’s 61st birthday. We were so happy with the house, even more happy with the pristine beaches and beautiful bay. We fished, caught flounder, trout, mangrove snapper, and many large redfish. We kayaked together. The house provided 2 kayaks, but be careful, the red one has a hole in the bottom and it quickly filled with water. Luckily I brought mine from home so it all worked out
 what a great mini vacation. Thank you for the great memories.

Great location!

The property was in an amazing location, with a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Very little traffic and almost no noise, so we had an extremely relaxing visit. Trading Post up the street has everything you would need during a visit, so no need to leave for the bigger towns. This is our new go-to spot for the beach!

Spring break

We had a great stay at Sandy Paws. This is our 2nd spring break staying at this house. Great fenced in yard for the dogs. Nice neighborhood for a walk. Short ride to the beautiful state park. Fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals in. Comfy recliners to relax for movie night after all day on the beach. Comfortable beds.

Amazing stay, comfortable home, close to the beach

We had such a wonderful stay!! The home was lovely, very spacious for our group of seven. The walk to the beach was easy, and we absolutely loved the skeeball and air hockey downstairs!! Hope to return again soon!

Family vacation with our dogs

We enjoyed Sandy Paws and the spacious home with large comfortable beds for 2 sisters and our 3 young adult children. We also brought our 2 small dogs and we all enjoyed the beach. Very close walk to the gulf and beach access. The sunsets are gorgeous. 2nd trip to CSB and we just love this peaceful paradise!

Family Vacation

Plenty of room for the entire family and perfect fenced area for pets. Beds were extremely comfortable which is a huge plus. House was equipped with everything that we needed and conveniently located to the General Store for any other supplies.

What a trip!

We had great communication by the owners and they gave us great information while staying there. We were so happy to see all the beach gear that we could use while were down there. We were perfect proximity to everything. There is even a great restaurant at the end of the street. You could walk or drive the golf cart. The kitchen is fully stocked with plently pots and pans and dishes.

Great House!

My husband and I took our 3 kids ages, 12,16,18, along with my mom and 2 dogs for a week at Sandy Paws. You just can’t beat this house. If you’re not a fan of bunk beds and comfort is key, this is the house! Every bed was extremely comfortable and queen or king size. Our older boys stayed on lower level, husband and I and our daughter on 2nd level and my mom on the main level. The most perfect layout for us! There was a game room/extra tv room on lower level and huge laundry room. Super fun and plenty of room to spread out! Beach is close to walk or drive and park if carrying a lot. State park is amazing. We spent a lot of time exploring there. Nothing bad to say about this rental. House had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay so much! Thanks to the hosts for providing an awesome renting experience!

Oh boy, what a great vacation!

Sandy Paws was in an awesome location, was as described (but even better!), and had everything we needed for a great beach vacation! The layout of the 3-story house was perfect. We could all gather together, but we had privacy when needed, too. Adults, children, and dogs enjoyed fun-filled days and quiet, peaceful sleeps on comfy beds at night. Oh boy, what a great vacation!

Sandy Paws đŸŸ Pawfect!!

This was a return visit to Sandy Paws for my sister and me. The location, with the fenced in yard and the short walk to the beach is perfect for the two of us and our dogs! We especially enjoy afternoons sitting on the sunny deck while the dogs sun themselves. The owners are very responsive to any of our requests. We will be returning again next year for our extended stay.

New Years Family gathering

There were 8 adults and a teen. We liked that there were distinctly 5 rooms with 5 adult sized beds and that the listing correctly identified the beds as 3 kings and 2 queens. It was wonderful to be able to bring our pets and the fenced in yard was great for letting them sit on the porch. The kitchen had adequate utensils. The golf cart being available was a nice touch- it was too cold to get in the ocean but there were plenty of chairs and boogie boards etc available to use. The only issue we had - and this was a fault of our own- is that we did not expect there to not be a pull out couch or a cot or something you might use for a child. Our ‘teen’ had to sleep in the bed with another young adult and he was not happy- next time we’ll bring an air mattress! There is also a small den in the basement with air hockey and a tv for our teenage boy to be entertained and that was helpful. Andy and Travis were very communicative and overall we didn’t have any issues. The house was very clean and we found the beds to be quite comfortable for a rental house. There were extra blankets and things in the closets also.

Great house with lots of amenities

This was a wonderful place with multiple families. Games and activities for toddlers and teens. There was some problems with the electricity but the host always responded quickly. The golf cart was available but restricted to the neighborhood and not able to use to go to the beach. The beach is about a half mile from house, not a bad walk but the golf cart was what we expected to use to get the older family members and beach gear to the beach. We got pulled over by police multiple times because you can’t cross Cape San Blas Rd. Overall, was a great trip!

Great beach - beautiful sunsets

Great beach property. Beautiful sunsets. Property is perfect for a large group. Golf cart is a nice asset to travel to the public beach access, which is a few blocks away. Screened in porch is a perk. Andy and Travis, owners, are quick to respond if there are questions or concerns.

Great family vacation

Sandy Paws was all that was advertised. Space and furnishings were great. The fenced yard was very nice given our furry family members that were with us. The golf cart and bikes were a great addition. The only downsides/inconvenience was we arrived on Friday to an overflowing trash can and trash pick up wasn’t until Monday. We also arrived to a note on the dishwasher stating it wasn’t working and should not be used. No huge hardship to wash our own dishes, but a small inconvenience. I would stay at Sandy Paws again and would refer friends there as well.

A wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Sandy Paws. It is comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is stocked with all the needed appliances. Plenty of parking on the premises. We could walk or drive to the bay or gulf. My wife and I definitely recommend this home for a vacation stay.

Sandy Getaway

Great space for a beach getaway for the family and their fur baby's. Close proximity to the beach, with a nice ocean breeze. Nice state park not to far away where you can enjoy both the ocean and bay. Thanks for a great visit.

We are Pioneer Ridge Vacations, owned by Andy Vanosdale and Travis Staten, best friends since 1990. We grew up together attending the same schools and college in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area. The Pioneer Ridge name comes from our grade schools, with the mascot being the Pioneer and the schools located in East Ridge, Tennessee. We are huge fans of the Tennessee Volunteers (Go Vols)! When we get together, you can often find us playing Spades and Phase 10 with our other friends.
