The water front rental is located in the marina district of the Les Cheanaux Island chain, Cedarville Mi. The Les Cheanaux Islands " The Channels" made up of 36 islands with protected bays for boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, etc.
Private boat launch and dock for your fishing boat, water toys, kayaks. Sun rise and sun set views from the large waterside deck. Large fire pit to enjoy on the cooler northern Michigan evenings. The cabin is within walking distance to bars, restaurants, coffee shop, marina, shopping, museums, Hessel is a short drive (3 miles) by car or boat.
Short drive to Mackinac Island ferry docks and the Drummond Island ferry.

Perfect weekend getaway

The cottage is a great cozy spot for a couple, small family, or a few friends to do a nice weekend getaway. The location right on the water, yard, and dock (and boat launch) are really nice! Sara was also a great host, very helpful and communicative.

Sara added so many special touches to make our stay perfect. Storage, decor, convenience to town to name a few. Only complaint, we didn’t stay long enough!

Nice property

Nice property. Decorated nicely. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only issue but was not an issue during our stay was the bedroom windows do not open. Otherwise would give 5 stars. If it was warm it may be uncomfortable.

Perfect location in downtown Cedarville

I rented this spot for out-of-town wedding guests. They loved it! It was clean and cozy, and they made good use of the patio grill overlooking Cedarville Bay. In addition to being a waterfront property, they also enjoyed the close proximity to the coffee shop and restaurants. They are both a short walk away. I would highly recommend this listing to anyone planning a stay in the Les Cheneaux Islands.

Cedarville Bay Stay

Great location, cute decor, comfortable furniture and beds, loved being downtown and on the lake. Only problem was the bedroom windows do not have screens and there was only 1 fan. I contacted the owner but who clarified their were no screens for bedroom windows and just one fan but did not offer to do anything. It was unusually warm the first 2 days of our stay so sleeping was difficult. Luckily we have family in Hessel and borrowed 2 fans (one for each bedroom).

Cute, cozy, clean and convenient!

Sara's adorable house was a great home base for exploring the area. A couple restaurants and a coffee shop are within walking distance and a couple more are a short drive. We loved being able to launch our kayaks right at the property and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings! There were a few pieces of firewood there, but we found a great deal to buy some on Drummond Island. We definitely plan to return now that we found this little piece of heaven.

Perfect place to relax!

This sweet little house in Cedarville is the perfect couple get away! I loved sitting outside by the water listening to the waves and watching the boats come in and go out from the marina. The town is so cute and has everything you need close by. A couple of restaurants, grocery store, gas station and even a family dollar. The house itself is adorable. It’s small but has perfect functionality for its size. Sara had many great little extras that made this place perfect and feeling like home. Would definitely stay again!!

Location and comfort made for a very enjoyable and convenient vacation!

We had the best long weekend staying in this property. The host thought of everything! Home was clean, beds comfortable, and view was amazing! We walked to marina, restaurants, and shops. We are frequent to the islands and will be staying in this property for years to come. Thank-you for a wonderful weekend!
