Magnifique séjour!!

Nous avons passĂ© un magnifique sĂ©jour dans le condo de David. La communication s’est trĂšs bien passĂ©e lors de la rĂ©servation et tout au long de nos vacances. Le condo est trĂšs propre, rĂ©novĂ© avec soin et avec beaucoup d’équipements. La plage est incroyable, propre et pas trop achalandĂ©e. Le seul bĂ©mol est que nous n’avons pas eu accĂšs pendant plusieurs jours Ă  la piscine en raison d’un bris au niveau de la pompe. L’environnement autour du condo est de toute beautĂ©. Je recommande fortement cet endroit et hĂąte d’y retourner!!

We had a terrific time at this property as a family. Highly recommended, but quick notes:Starting with the pros: The property is in a great location, easy access off of A1A, 25 minutes into St. Augustine, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The beach is massive and flat, especially at low tide. And the owners completely gutted this property down to the studs and rebuilt it. The finished product looks modern and beautiful. Main floor is open, deck has a nice view of the pool, beach is a 1 minute walk from the front door, and the property has two large Masters. Owners are excellent to work with and saved our vacation due to a snafu at another property 1 week out. Property has a one car garage, which is great, but we have an oversized SUV which wouldn’t fit well due to a couch being in the garage. Parking outside was not an issue for us, as most of the neighbors parked outside anyway. Cons: The lower level is accessible only via door to the garage, lower patio entrance, or circular staircase, which can be tricky unless you’re using it for kids. The bathroom down there is a half bath in the garage. Door to the garage doesn’t lock, but door in the garage to the outside does, as well as internal patio door to the outside. We had two older teenage boys down there and they loved it, but I wouldn’t put small children down there due to the locking/bathroom situation, or elderly due to the circular staircase. Ultimately, we highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

The condo and complex were great! Very nicely decorated and well stocked. Super convenient to the beach and pool. The beach was nice and flat and not crowded. We look forward to going back!

Beach Vacation

We go to the Cresent beach area every year for summer vacation and this has been one of our favorite places so far! The property was beautiful and the location was excellent. The beds were super comfortable, it was a very short walk to the beach and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for making meals. The pool was very clean. The other residents were also quiet families and all very respectful. We will definitely return again.

Birthday getaway for Mom

Place was great! Plenty of room for our family of 7 including 3 adult children. Beach is amazing and owners are great to work with! Would definitely recommend.

Family Vacay

Our family vacation at Spyglass was perfect! The weather was great and our condo was perfect. There was an issue with the door look but David made sure it was fixed and didn’t cause us any issues! It was so great to check out the photo book showing before and after photos of the renovations to the condo. Everything was decorated very tastefully and up to date. The condo was in a perfect location on the beach where there is not a lot people which we LOVED! We are hoping to return next year!

Beautiful Beach Condo

We were very happy with this condo. It’s actually more like a townhome because it has 3 floors. Everything was updated and the pictures were accurate. Location is walking distance to beach. Very nice! We would stay here again.

July 13-20 stay

Beautiful condo, well equipped with items to use at the beach (towels, easy up, chairs) as well as kitchen supplies to cook. Spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. Lots of steps in condo as well as to the beach. But not too far of a walk to pool or beach. Loved the setup that no one is above or below you. The personal hose outside at garage and back entrance to clean up was nice. Beach was not crowded. Enjoyed the tennis and pickle ball courts. Wonderful stay and host.

Perfect Place

We have been vacationing at Crescent Beach for 32 years! This is our 2nd stay in this beautiful condo. Every square inch has been renovated and it is gorgeous! We truly had a wonderful week!

Very nice condo

This area was very nice on the Ocean Side. However it wasn't on the beach like I expected. Everything else was exactly as written. A few small issues which David was very good about getting right back to me.

Great space

Weather did not treat us well while staying, but nothing in control of the owners. Overall this place was amazing and we will be coming again. I would add some feedback that if folks are staying let them stay and be and not come knocking. Not a big deal, but feedback none the less Bedrooms great, space great, kitchen, everything was great otherwise. Thank you

Updated and near beach

We enjoyed the beautiful home, right next to the pool and beach. Lovely decor, comfy beds and spacious unit. You can tell that a lot of effort and love went into this home. Major issue with mold smell upon entering unit, and had to air out all weekend. The 5 of us smelled it immediately and a couple of us had to take Benadryl and additional allergy medications to combat the symptoms. We notified the owner and he said he would address it. Also, 3rd bedroom is location on main floor and down twisty stairs, has no A/C vent. Would suggest calling this a 2 bedroom condo and putting a game room or multi use room. As long as the mold issue is resolved, I would recc staying here. If not, I’d advise another location.

Spacious comfortable home

We have older children that need a lot of space and privacy. Being close to the pool, we could allow them to go out on their own and the short walk to the beach was perfect for my sunrise trips with the hubby. The area was gorgeous! We would 100% stay here again. One of the best parts was direct communication with the owner and not a 3rd party company like so many other rentals we’ve stayed in.

Great Crescent Beach condo

The condo was very well equipped, best and prettiest assortment of tableware and glassware. We have not seen such pretty stuff in any other nice condos. My daughter took pictures of her favorite cups, hopes to order for herself., did not steal any, very tempting. Everything was in good condition, shower issue was addressed quickly. Our age range was 8-81, me being the 81 year old. I had issues with the stairs down to the beach but my 80 year old husband had no issues and the others, ages 8-47, had no problems at all. The 3 levels in the condo were not a problem for me but the steps down to the beach did not make my knee happy. I knew the details having booked the condo, did not realize that my knee would act up, booked way in advance of course. I would recommend to anyone but we elderly should be aware of the many many steps. Be sure your elderly and very young for good with lots of steps. The 8 year old loved the spiral steps, of course. Pool was immaculate and perfect for an 8 year old mermaid and her old nana. Plenty of towels, lots of beach stuff in the garage, we did not use the grill, did enjoy the resident bunnies who have never met a stranger. To sum it up-everyone in group gave you an A+, I am just a plain A, but can't blame you for my knee issues, had a wonderful time, relaxing and swimming in the pool. Our nature lovers had good bird and animal watching. Highly recommend the eco tour boat trips in St. Augustine.

Over positive

Over all this property is a plus. However, there were issues with a few things. Only one pot in the kitchen for normal cooking; promised supplies (laundry tablets were not left); the laundry/washing machine does not clean well (which might account for why the towels were stained); the living room furniture was uncomfortable and the white surfaces appeared dirty. The beds were extremely comfortable and everyone got great night’s sleep throughout our stay. We loved the two suite set up in the upstairs and the updated facilities were nice. The distance to the beach is ideal but there is no view of the beach from the unit. The handrail on the spiral staircase has an issue with a sharp edge as our youngest cut his finger sliding his hand along the rail. We were notified that there might be issues with the electric overloading if using two hairdryers at the same time but we never encountered those issues at all. Overall, I will say, I’m my opinion, the stay was a positive one considering the price, the location and the upgrades.
