Easter Weekend

This cute little home was just what we needed to visit with family over Easter weekend. Perfectly located just off Canal St. in downtown New Smyrna and a few blocks away from family. The beds were comfortable, check in was easy and Nathan was very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you!

Bungalow love

Everything was perfect! Great location, just a2 min walk to Canal streets shopping and restaurants. The pictures of the rental do not do it justice. It is so cute and cozy. My dogs loved watching the world go by outside the front door. There is a nice waterfront park a few blocks away and we also enjoyed walking the neighborhood looking at all the homes in the area. Symrna beach dunes is also a great dog friendly beach and nice hike for the dogs. I highly recommend.

Great place for us & pups

We had a wonderful stay in NSB. The hosts were responsive and very kind. The backyard was nice to sit and relax while our 2 pups ran around. The house was even better than pictured! Such a great space to relax, and close enough to walk the cute streets nearby. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful bungalow off of Canal St

My husband and I had a WONDERFUL trip to New Smyrna Beach and stayed here for almost 2 full weeks. We could walk to Canal Street and access back to Flagler or the beach was easy using the Causeway. We brought our dog and using our truck as the "fourth fence" were able to enjoy evenings with him in the backyard. Owner was very responsive! This is definitely a "home" rental, not just a house!

Best of New Smyrna

Home was just as listed. Owner made check in process a breeze and house was clean and ready when we got there, The location was perfect. Downtown Canal st was just steps away which had several good restaurants, bars, shops and bike rentals. Tixi bar on the water and several other restaurants were within biking and walking distance. Found some great drive on beaches near 27th away from the most popular Flagler beach. Smyrna Dunes park, The treehouse, The Garlic, Jb fish camp for sunsets, Canaveral state park and Kennedy space center a must see if you can. Owner was great and very responsive. When I asked if there was a hair dryer at the house, they went out and bought me one. I tried it with a BMW but it didn’t work. Lol . We would definitely stay there again.

Charming property, great location

This home is within 2 short blocks of Canal street which is home to many restaurants, bars and shops. Steps from Washington street which turns into the north causeway. There is a bicycle/walking path most of the way. Once over the causeway you’re on Flagler St from which you can access the beach for miles of bike riding, walking or driving (during low tide). We enjoyed meals at Causeway, Norwoods, The Garlic and Ruthy’s Cozy Kitchen. The home was comfortable and reasonably well appointed. Backyard is a bonus. We enjoyed the area and our stay.

Lovely Home and Stay!

The house was modern, clean, and comfortable! The backyard was so spacious - we loved sitting out there and our dogs loved running around (note there is one entrance not fenced in, but the car parked can help block it). Walking distance from so many great restaurants. The hosts were very responsive - even bringing us extra bedding on a holiday weekend! Would absolutely recommend staying here for a fun weekend away with friends.

Less than desirable from the start.

We expected a clean house and a nice yard to enjoy. The surfaces of every table and the counters were sticky & dirty. The refrigerator inside and out was filthy. We had to rewash sheets and clean the rental before we could unpack. House is adorable but very beat up. Not maintained at all. Reminded me of frat house. There were ants coming in thru back door area were we put the dogs food bowl. We sprayed and move the bowls. The Back yard was overgrown and not at all like the picture shows all the plastic chairs were stacked to one side and completely moldy. The table was filthy the umbrella was in a puddle of water on the ground it was not ready for somebody to enjoy it and the fire pit was rusted out even the barbecue was rusty. The washer and dryer was wonderful to have having your own parking was wonderful and the location was great we could walk to Canal Street and restaurants. Communication from The Host was quick and responsive when we told them about our concerns and they gave us a refund on our cleaning fee. The most important things for us when we rented this house was the use of the backyard and that the house was clean and neither of those things held true. All of their reviews mentioned cleanliness except for one who stated basically what I said... Renter Beware!
