We Welcome Mid term and short term stays! Just minutes away from Topsail Island, golf courses, shopping, and Camp Lejeune. Kick up your feet and enjoy this cozy cottage with lots of indoor and outdoor space. From a wrap around porch to a fenced-in, half acre yard for the kids and pups to enjoy. The relaxation is endless! Breathe in the salty air with tall trees surrounding you.

Get the ocean feel mixed with some southern charm with the best restaurants around and spend your days with your toes in the sand.

For midterm stays, you can really feel like you are on vacation and enjoy a complimentary professional clean every 2 weeks.

There are flat screen TVs in both bedrooms, and a big screen TV is in a spacious living room with a comfy couch to binge watch your favorite shows. Play a board game, cuddle up for a movie night, have smores by the outside firepit, cook a lovely meal in the kitchen, stargaze from the front porch. In a space like this, you won't want vacation to end! The entire place will be all yours for the duration of your stay.

There is a private hot tub on the deck right outside with drapes, a privacy fence and low lighting for added ambiance.

Secluded Slumber

Great fenced in yard for my fur baby, close to Topsail beach, hot tub was relaxing and neighbors were friendly. Great little get away!

Such a great home!

My husband, mom, pup, and I all enjoyed our vacation here in this beautiful home! The deck is so nice and great to relax on. The house is very nice inside and kept up well. Hot tub was a nice addition to the beach being super close! Would definitely stay here again im the future.

Great fishing beach trip

Nice, clean house close to the beach. We enjoyed the hottub and cooking dinners on the blackstone. Great fenced in yard for my son and our dogs. Nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Would recommend we’ll definitely be back.

My sons wedding

The house was very spacious on a quiet dead end street. It was a very short drive to the local grocery store, gift shops, and the beach. The fenced in yard and doggy door was a wonderful accommodation for my fur baby. The host was very attentive to my needs. I cannot wait until my next trip to visit my son and the bout time cottage!

Worked well for our needs

It was just over the bridge from North Topsail Beach.Location worked well for us. We were basically only there to visit the beach and local parks.We enjoyed the stay and exploring the area. It was beautiful weather up until the storms off hurricane Idailia were coming close. We decided to leave early to avoid any issues.Both dogs did well and it was an easy place to bring them too.It is easy entry in and out. Host was kind and responded to my questions timely requarding the weather and such.It was a fun stay we hated to leave early.

Great spot

It was a great, last minute find for our family of 6 and 2 dogs. We loved the added touch of the hot tub and the neighborhood was quiet. There was a huge yard for the dogs to roam and for our 5yo to find sticks when we weren’t beaching it. The only downfall, for us, was the one bathroom. We have 3 pre-teen/teen girls, but they managed!! :) The owner was prompt when we had questions and was happy to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Will stay here again for sure (maybe not with all 3 girls!! lol)

Five Stars!!!

My wife and I came with our daughter, my son’s best friend, and both our elderly dogs , to see our son who is stationed at Camp Lejeune in the Marines. My wife was in love with the house, and the kids enjoyed hot tub. The home was inviting and clean. Plenty of sleeping spaces and cozy. Had a nice big fenced yard for the dogs. Check in/out was easy. We had everything we needed. I especially enjoyed the Blackstone griddle. The home was located very close to the base, the beach, restaurants and stores. The neighbors were welcoming, and kindly shared a beer and some laughs with us. We will definitely be back to visit again, and we appreciate the host sharing their home with us.

Decent, wouldn’t recommend

If you don’t like a bright light blinding you while you’re in the hot tub then don’t get in! They should of put a light out where you could watch your step walking down to the fire pit. We were told after the fact that the place was recently gutted and rehabbed and it showed! Paint splatters all over the cabinets and closet doors that wouldn’t open. Had to go and buy garbage bags to replace the ones we pulled, because there was no ones to be found. We were visiting our Marine son and his girlfriend stayed with us one night and apparently that wasn’t allowed! They really needed to spend more time addressing bigger issues, instead of worrying so much about the decor! I smoked a few times outside. I guess I should of smoked in my vehicle! This place needs a little bit more time before they rent again. We thought it would have been nice, we should’ve thought twice!

I wish I could say something nice but unfortunately this was bad from the start. From the moment they arrived she was smoking on the deck like it was her full time job and this is a nonsmoking cottage.... says it very clear in the house rules. I did however message her and give her an exception. I told her she could smoke by the fire pit. She didn't answer NOT ONE message asking her to please stop smoking on the deck at our nonsmoking cottage. We had noise complaints every night regarding these guests. We were never told there were going to be more guests staying the night. That would have been different if they were registered. Why not register your guests? Its not like its extra money... Moving on, It's a shame that people can't respect a property. I hope my paint splatters didn't ruin their middle of the night arugmented that ultimately was the breaking point of their stay. Her son also invited 5 other guests onto the property at 3 AM who were not registered. They also told the neighbors that this is what happens when they visit their son. I am married to a Marine and love our Military families but this was pitiful coming from full grown adults. So HOSTS... Be aware- if this woman is finding a place to stay to visit her marine son- DON'T RENT TO HER. You have been warned. People of this nature just need to stay in a motel 6 and be done with it.

We are a family that loves to create a great vacation escape! When you work hard you deserve to relax even harder. We have put special touches in the Bout Time Cottage that reflect who we are and what we love.

We are a retired military family who have been giving families a place to make memories for over 5 years! This is our family's home away from home. The memories we have created are divine. We are the type of hosts that are quick to resolve any issues that may arise.
We hope you make many memories that last a life time!

Note: If you're looking for problems, lack a sense of humor, OR you're a chronic complainer- this is not the place for you. We love giving light hearted families and couples a comfortable place to stay (+fur pups included).

Extra Guests and Parties:
We do not allow extra guests (beyond the max limit) simply because some guests have ruined if for the rest, and have had parties that got out of hand. Chain of commands/authorities had to be contacted.
Having unregistered guests OR over 7 people WILL result in an immediate cancelation. No parties allowed!

Respecting the property is a must. We try to keep rates reasonable so you, too, can have a relaxing, memory making, vacation experience. When the home, the host, and the rules are disregarded- inevitability, rates and rules increase.
