Joel was a wonderful host. The house is located right next to Busch Gardens, which made visiting the park extremely convenient. It’s also close to everything we needed. As a small suggestion, a few kitchen upgrades would make the stay even better. I ended up purchasing some ceramic bowls during my stay to enjoy my comfort food. Thank you, Joel, for your hospitality—we had a great stay!

Joel was an incredibly kind and helpful host. Communication was great and he truly went out of his way to be accommodating, which I really appreciated.However, the property itself did not meet our expectations. While I completely understand and am fine with an older property, we did run into some concerns. Some of the dishes appeared to be dirty, which was disappointing when trying to prepare food.The biggest issue for us was the location. The surrounding area did not feel like a great neighborhood to us. The house across the street had bars on the windows, and at night it was quite loud with a lot of people walking by and talking loudly down the street.Because of this, even though we had booked two nights, we actually decided to head home after the first night once our competition was finished instead of staying the second night.Joel himself was wonderful and very kind, but due to the cleanliness concerns and the location, we personally would not choose to stay here again. I do wish previous reviews had mentioned more about the surrounding area so we could have made a more informed decision..

Busch Gardens home

The home itself was perfect for all of us and close to Busch Gardens. Great restaurants such as World of Beer and Yingling Kitchen. Neighborhood seems a little sketch but quiet.

Home was ok. Older home. Comfortable. Easy to get to Busch and various restaurants. The home did have cable in living room and master bedroom. No tvs in other bedrooms. Ac worked great.

Great Location and Clean House

The house was in a perfect location for our Busch Gardens trip. We were able to leave our car and walk to the park quite easily. We met the owner as he let us park prior to check in, he was super nice and very helpful. House was simple but perfect for us, clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean and comfortable

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. The house was extra clean, and we had everything we needed for meals and bedding. It was about 17 minutes from downtown Tampa We would stay again.

FAMILY SPACE

We travelled to Tampa to watch our daughter play in the Tropical 7s Rugby Tournament. We were close to everything we needed and Joel was a fantastic host. Recommendations on things to do, food and on how to enjoy our down time were very appreciated. House created an atmospbere for us and our adult kids to reconnect and just be together with space and all the comforts of home. We wull definately be back.

Super Host & Kid-Friendly Property

We had a wonderful stay in Tampa. Joel was a super host! His communication and kindness truly stood out above other VRBO properties we've rented. We had all the information we needed to check in/out easily - he even recommended activities for us in the area and accommodated a schedule change for us gracefully.The house was very kid friendly and had so many thoughtful accommodations to entertain our little ones - kids books and games, a little table and chairs, exercise room, backyard space.Location-wise, we could have walked to Busch Gardens and UCF. It was very easy to drive to: the zoo, Dinosaur World, and downtown. Great location.We highly recommend this property for a family trip to Tampa. Thank you Joel, you rock!

Super Clean and Convenient

I will admit, when we first pulled into the neighborhood we were scared. It definitely looks sketch, but were pleasantly surprised that it was nice and quiet. The house was immaculate and just as described. Joel was amazing to work with and offered all sorts of great tips and suggestions for the city. Very conveniently located to USF and lots of restaurants and shopping. You can watch the fireworks from Busch Gardens right in the front yard! If we are back in the area, we would stay again!

quick weekend

I was in town for a Yankee spring training game, and Joel was fantastic. He was incredibly responsive and offered some great suggestions. The neighborhood was quiet, though there wasn't much within walking distance in terms of food, bars, or grocery stores. This wasn’t a major issue for me since I had a car. I did take an Uber to the Yankee game, which was about a 15-minute ride and cost 22. The house could use a little TLC—one guest described it as “dated,” and I agree it could use a fresh coat of paint, particularly on the bathroom floorboards. The beds and couch were comfortable, there were plenty of towels, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cups (though there’s no dishwasher). It was good for what I needed.

Joel, our host, was very thorough, very accommodating to some specific requests. The house was as advertised; clean and spacious enough for 3 guys. The coffee and water availability was icing on the cake!! Would return for a longer stay next time.
