East 42 - B is a spacious three bedroom, three bathroom home located just one block to King Street. Upon entering the home you are welcomed into an open living, dining, and kitchen area. The main living area is great for relaxing after a day exploring all that Charleston has to offer. The primary bedroom boast a king bed, custom millwork, and private ensuite. The second bedroom is just off the living area complete with a queen bed, custom millwork, and private ensuite. The third bedroom boast a king bed and custom millwork just across from the bedroom is the third bathroom complete with a custom tile shower.

Just outside the home there is a lovely courtyard perfect for morning coffee. East 42 - B is delightful and full of natural light, this home is perfectly located in the charming neighborhood of Cannonbourough/Elliotbourough where you will find local coffee shops, eateries, and boutiques.

This home can be combined with 42 - A to make a five bedroom, five bathroom home.

The host answered any questions we had promptly. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and to the City Market. It’s a convenient place to stay. The house was beautiful and very clean.

Perfect Location-Communication Excellent-Will Rent Again

We truly loved staying here! We were in Charleston for our son's wedding and two of our adult children and their partners stayed with us, so having our own bathrooms was ideal. The location is wonderful (and my favorite stay so far on Spring Street - lots of visits due to planning). Great restaurants are within walking distance (don't miss Maison!) The storage for apparel is not ideal for long gowns, but we made it work. We didn't cook (who does, when you come to Charleston??) but the choice between drip coffee or Keurig was a nice touch. The couch was comfortable, although slightly stained, and I figured "of course it would be.....people sweat or go to the beach, and then relax on the couch. The towels were a bit thin, and again, I'm not complaining....the beds, the outdoor sitting area, and natural light that comes into the space made our stay wonderful! Thank you so much!

College girlfriends

Property was great for 3 65 year old women. Can walk to most places. No need for a car. We did Uber to/from airport & a few restaurants after walking all day!! Would highly recommend.

Very clean, convenient to everything! Beds were awesome. Linens were great. Only negative is that the Couch cushions were low & worn down.

Ladies weekend away

This was a ladies getaway for myself and four of my friends. We stayed here late last year (2023) to attend the Christkindle Market. This place did not disappoint. I haven’t stayed in many Vrbo type rentals but from the ones i have stayed in this is by far the best. Very clean. The beds were super comfortable. It was like staying in a top notch hotel kind of comfy. We could tell it had been renovated at some point and everything was so well thought out and beautifully decorated.The only complaint while staying was in one of the bedrooms we couldn’t get the reading lights next to the bed to work. Not a big deal. This felt like a safe area. We even walked to a cafe nearby to pick up breakfast a couple times. There were some cute shops around the corner also that we explored. I did read in some of the reviews that it was noisy but that was not our experience at all. I plan on booking this place again next time i visit Charleston.

Great stay

We loved this property. It was easy to walk anywhere within Charleston and had great food close by. Island Provisions was a great local place for breakfast. This place is adorable and well decorated. It has its quirks since it’s historical but we didn’t mind because of the great location and Charleston vibes.

Long weekend in Charleston

The property is very nice, well done inside & out. It is close to King Street but a good distance from nicer shopping & dining. Only complaint is being on ground floor there is a lot of noisy foot traffic from upstairs & on weekends goes to early morning hours. Charleston is beautiful & enjoyed our visit.

Extremely disappointed. AM ASKING FOR A REFUND, PLEASE!

TV remotes all mixed up, no stools to get into the beds, a wet dirty towel on the back of a door, shabby, worn furniture. Broken off inside door handle in primary bathroom, squeaky doors, including a door coming loose from its hinges--woke us up at night. Extremely loud talking and laughing next door on 2 nights (1 am-2am) that kept us from sleeping. Noise machines ineffective. Jordan helped as much as she could. NOT what I expected from VRBO based on past experiences. I am sending a more detailed explanation.

Clean, pretty, convenient location. Only complaint is the parking spot for 42B. Awkward and has a scary drop-off. Do not drive a truck here and expect to park. Otherwise great place.

Forever Friends-Tres Amigas

Two cousins from Atlanta, GA and their dear friend from New Jersey traveled to Charleston, S.C. to spend great times together. The photos on the site were great but in person, the Guest House is JUST PERFECT!!!! The cleanliness and details of the house were beautiful. The location was perfect. We walked everywhere except to the beach. The parking spot and lot was clean and near to the trash bin. We could not have asked for a better vacation. To dine, sightsee and relax...THIS IS THE PLACE!
