The condo was beatiful. This was our first trip to Florida. The condp sits in a perfect spot. We walked to Pier Park daily. Lots of fun things to do there. The tiki bar at the condo closes seasonally, which was sad because it was plenty warm enough to swim in the heated pool. (70) The only complaint about our condo was the beds. They werent the greatest and very squeaky with every toss and turn. Everything else was perfect!

Subject: Request for Refund – Unsatisfactory StayDear Property ManagerThe condo’s location was lovely, but the unit itself had many serious issues with cleanliness and maintenance that made our stay very disappointing.Cleanliness:The kitchen had dirty dishes and glasses put away (lipstick stains, food residue on the cutting board, dirty oven mitt, and filthy info sign). Garbage disposal contained rotting food. Pots, pans, and cutlery were insufficient, damaged, and dirty. Floors were sticky—walking barefoot left feet black. Rugs were full of hair and debris. The front bedroom dresser contained Bucky’s food trash, and the front bathroom drawers had an empty alcohol bottle. No cleaning supplies (soap, detergent, or sponge) were provided.Maintenance:Washer knob missing, dryer takes 3 hours per load, and dishwasher doesn’t dry. Front bathroom shower had no hot water. Master bathroom’s left shower is scalding hot and non-adjustable. Master bed springs are broken and squeaky. Doorbell cover was missing (later found on top of refrigerator).Due to these numerous deficiencies, we request a significant refund for this stay. Please advise on how to proceed. Photos can be provided if needed.

We absolutely love Calypso, but we were definitely disappointed with this particular condo. We paid a LOT of money for this condo and I have several huge complaints. First of all, the condo was dirty. We have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old and their feet were black after running around when we got there. The rug in the living room is old and FILTHY and there really is no way to clean it. The kitchen pots and pans were AWFUL. We used a ton of cooking spray and we still lost half of our food in the bottom of the pan and still had to soak everything. They supplied zero dish towels. The dishwasher was old and left spots on everything. The bathtub made it extremely hard to bathe my kids because there is no way to reach in there to adjust the water temperature or drain the water. Each load we put in the dryer took 3 cycles to dry. Overall, we LOVE Calypso, but this condo definitely needs some work

Beautiful view of the ocean!! Unit was not clean. The master bath room needs some deep cleaning. The master bedroom quilt needs to be removed and cleaned. May also be time for a new matress. Was not very comfortable. Our over-all experience was great!! Close to all amenities. The sun set was our favorite. Perfect view from the balcony !! We enjoyed watching all the sea life and the beautiful crystal clear water!!!

Great location, plenty of large beds but mattresses need to be replaced. A few touch ups inside are needed, washing machine knob was missing. Overall a nice place. Walking distance to Pier Park and the parking garage was great with the walk over on floor 3.

The condo itself was nice and had a beautiful view. The second bedroom lacks any kind of storage for clothes. It needs more like a chest of drawers instead of tv stand. The master shower the one side didn’t work and the master bedroom and bedroom with the tub adjacent that family stayed in said that the beds were terrible. The smallest bedroom had a very comfortable bed. It was nice to have three king size beds. The condo was not cleaned well at all before arrival it was messy.

This was a very nice property!!! Just wish parking was on the same side as the condo but over all it was a great place!!! We did have to run the dryer 2 times each load!!!

The pictures of the property made it seem so nice but I would not stay in this unit again. The floors were filthy! My grandson was crawling around and within 10 minutes his knees and hands were black! So I bought a swiffer and mopped the floors. There were areas on the floor that I thought were permanently stained but came right up when I mopped them. Which tells me the floors were not cleaned before our arrival. The washer and dryer were old. The washer didn’t clean the clothes well and we had to run the dryer multiple times to dry the clothes. The shower on the master suite was beautiful but it was but hard to use. It contained two shower heads and one was scolding hot water! I think it got to over 120 degrees! We had to switch to just using the one that did not get as hot. We left messages for assistance but no one responded to us. One of the bathroom sinks was continually clogged up. The celing fans didn’t work. The kitchen cabinets were dirty and I wiped those down. There were boogers all over the master bathroom wall with the toilet so I had to clean that off as well. Overall, this unit was not as nice as I excepted and am use to.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Room is nice. The showers in the place not so much extremely hot water in one. The other is all you could get was warm water. Parking is hard at this place if you have anything bigger than a car. We stayed 7 days enjoyed are trip overall.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall good stay room has a few issues with the master shower and sliding doors for balcony wasn’t great but that comes with renting no issues there I understand those. One problem I have with this resort is the pool closed everyday it seemed for lighting even if it was way 20 30 miles away even inland so that was disappointing I know it’s some safety but my goodness it was silly when other resorts up the beach was still in the pool wasn’t happy about that

Beautiful sunsets

It was good. The master bath should have some instructions on how to use shower. The check out time was at 9 which we didn't like when you can't check in until 4. The heated pool was too cold. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and stay but thought I should provide some things to consider to make it better.

Seabreeze Jazz Festival

The condo was very nice and close to the event @ Pier Park. The only drawbacks were:Master Shower (Left Shower) had no cold water Master Shower (Right Shower) the shower wand was cracked and therefore had low water pressure but it had cold water & hot water. Couldn’t find additional trash bags Overall, I would stay there again for sure.

Dryer doesn’t dry well. Ice maker in fridge makes a clicking noise at random. Couldn’t figure it out. No remote for the light in the bedroom with jack n Jill bathroom. Everything else was great!!

We're Already Planning Our Next Stay!

The Calypso 3BR/3BR 9th floor end unit condo was fantastic! Unit was big, roomy, and had a great view. The shower in the master bath was amazing! The location couldn't be beat, as it's walking distance to the pier and all of the restaurants, attractions, and shops in Pier Park. The only criticism we had was that the deck furniture out consisted of a few plastic chairs, a couple tall chairs, and a single small table. Nicer, more comfortable deck furniture would have made our time on the balcony more enjoyable. The fabric sofa and swivel chairs were a bit out of place, given the fancier appearance of the condo. The Emerald Coast hosts were great to work with. They were easy to contact, responsive, and accommodating. We'll definitely stay here again!

AMAZING Ocean views!

Amazing ocean views! Beautiful corner room with plenty of living space to enjoy a comfortable stay. Balcony was perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. 3 large king size bedrooms with connecting bathrooms made for a very comfortable stay for 3 adults. Living room was large and has a giant tv! Room was very clean and maintained well. Kitchen was equipped with all basic needs. Beach toys provided was a plus. Pool was a dream! You can sit on the pool deck and enjoy the ocean views. In the evening, we loved the bonfire. Very close to Pier Park for restaurants and shopping. Overall an awesome stay! We loved it!

Great Condo

We stayed in the same condo last with and just so happen to get it again this year. It is clean, has a great view and is just minutes from Pier Park.

Ironman convenience

Great location! Everything is within walking distance. Property is spacious and quickly felt like home. A few things worth mentioning: needs new mattresses and duvet covers, needs a deep cleaning, does not provide beach/pool towels, does not provide salt & pepper. Overall, great property and we would stay here again.

Col fixes would make it better. Ceiling fans not wired correctly, master shower not working correctly at me side was hot water only. First bedroom toilet whined. Overall excellent would stay again
