Furnished in coastal decor, this unit has every convenience a couple or small family will need for a pleasurable vacation. King bed in master(custom blackout drapes for those late sleepers), small sleeper chair in master that folds out to a twin sleeper for a child, twin size bunk beds in bunk room and queen sleeper sofa in living room. Comfortably sleeps 4-7. 27 inch TV/DVD/VCR, 27 inch TV/DVD in master bedroom,19' TV in bunk room, plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils in the kitchen. Unit has washer & dryer with iron and ironing board. Other amenities listed below.

Destin West Beach & Bay Resort is appealing to all age groups. The numerous pools and spas along with the much-loved, lazy river with its easy zero-depth entry, provides lots of entertainment and relaxation. Children and adults alike can't resist the care-free floating for hours at a time. For the beach lovers in the family, a short walk via an over-the-street pedestrian walkway will put you on the beach in less than 10 minutes. This is a great place for a couple to escape! Easy access to the Gulf and the Bay area, lots to do.The checkout time of 10am is just stupid!!!!!

The most perfect stay! Was exactly as described! Pool access, can park in garage and cross the skywalk to the private beach access. Perfect location for anything and everything you can think of! They even let us check in early, were supper accommodating and so responsive on messages, we will be back! Thank you again!!

Pleasant with this condo . It’s our 4th time staying in Destin West but 1st time on Bayside. The condo was as described, our family of 5 ( 2 adult and 3 children 9-15yo ) . The management was very responsive, the toaster was not working on 1st morning and during 2-3h they brought us a new one . We stayed on Labor Day weekend 2025 . Will come again!

Great family location

The property was very clean and up to date. The view of the lazy river and pool area was beautiful. The pool area was also very clean. If we are in Destin again, we will definitely try to stay in the same location.

Always a blast coming here.

We LOVE this resort because of its pools and lazy river. This is our 2nd time staying here and it’s always been a blast. This unit is very clean. It’s equipped with up-to-date appliances. Even has a stroller and highchair for my toddler which was a pleasant surprise!

Great condo

The property and condo themselves are great. They kids enjoyed the lazy river. It’s a small walk to the beach using the pedestrian walkway. The condo perhaps needed some sturdier furniture.

Family vacation

The entire complex is kept very clean. The pool/lazy river area always looked great. The lazy river was too cold for the grandchildren (stayed in a different unit) and us but the heated pool was lovely. Easy access to the beach which helped get steps in! Also, walked to the mini golf, ice cream, and pizza. We would stay here again! Very clear and easy check in and check out!

Nice accommodations overall.

Floors could use better cleaning.. bottoms of ours and grandkids feet were black after walking for only a short time in the living area barefoot to where we had to wash our feet in the bathtub before bedtime and wear flip flops for the rest of the stay inside the condo. Also pot holders/hot pads would have been appreciated. Other than that, zero complaints about our stay! Would definitely stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I came for a short family get away. The view of the pool and the bay was nice. We even found a 300 piece puzzle that my family had so much fun completing. The only down side was the walk to the beach. It was a little further than I thought. Other than that the place was really clean and we had a great time!

The property was always clean and pools were amazing. Definitely lots to do nearby and close restaurants. Traffic wasn’t the greatest as there were accidents every single day and long traffic jams with only one main road.

Would do it all again!

The entire process from finding and booking the property on VRBO to arrival and departure were seamless and simple! The location is wonderful with close proximity to Rick's next door, the Boardwalk just across the street and the bridge to Destin nearby. The property itself offered all that you would need for a convenient stay and the decor was warm and adorable! The balcony view of the lazy river and harbor is beautiful! The only complaint I would have is the King bed. The mattress itself is fine but there is something wrong with the frame itself and it seems either in need of repair or replacement. Otherwise, everything was perfect and it was a wonderful week with lots of memories for our family!!

As for the king bed, the mattress was literally purchased 1 week prior to your stay so we knew that was not causing the issue.
