Welcome to Destin West Gulfside #507! I'm Frank, your host for this great vacation property. This very nice beach condo is a 1 bedroom + 1 bunk room and 2 full bath. This beach condo is located in the Gulfside building at Destin West Beach and Bay Resort. The resort has direct beach access, many pools, hot tubs, and a lazy river. This condo provides a great view of the beach, pool, sunsets, and the city! This is a great vacation destination.

I am dedicated to providing my guests excellent service and a nice vacation rental. With this vacation rental you receive a very comfortable and nicely decorated unit. To help improve your stay we provide extra housekeeping amenities such as beach towels, laundry detergent, bath soaps, keurig w/ starter pods, and more. I look forward to hosting your group for a beach trip!

Rentals of jet skis, kayaks, and boogie boards are available on the beach located in front of the resort during the day. Pontoon boat rentals available across the street. You are also within walking distance or short drive away from many restaurants, grocery store, and activities on Okaloosa Island and Destin.

*Minimum age to rent is 25. Exceptions are sometimes allowed. Contact me with request. The number of guests this property accommodates is a maximum of six (6) persons. The group cannot be all adults (3-4 max). Please review the pictures! The secondary beds in the condo are only appropriate for kids, teenagers, and maybe young adults. The group is also limited to a max of 4 children (under 18 years old). Please contact me to request an exception.

*No smoking inside property or the balcony. Only vaping is permitted on the balcony.

Great view from our room. It was very clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there or very close by. The host even checked in to make sure everything was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place

Condo was clean and the view from the balcony was amazing. There were also several pools on the property, including a lazy river. The walk to the lazy river was easy. Parking was very convenient. We will book again.

The condo was great! Very clean! And Amanda responded in less than 30 min when I reached out to her! We have stayed in condos owned/ran by Frank probably 4x and they have always been great and very clean! Also I love they will let you check in as soon as the room is clean! We got lucky this time and it was early! We will be back next year!

Our Trip was simply Perfect! The Location surpassed All our Expectations due to the Activities Amenities that are All in Walking-Distance from the Resort. Restaurants around the Resort are Not-Budget-Friendly or Reasonable - However They are Convenient! Ms. Amanda's Communication Prompt Attention made Our Stay - Extremely Smooth Relaxing. Highly Recommend This little Gem!

Little getaway

Celebrating our daughter 14 birthday. The place was great. They even like our party people come set up so our daughter had a surprise walking in. Would come back soon hopefully in July.

Best Family Vacation!!

Softball tourney

We were in town for a week long softball tourney it ft. Walton. This location was perfect. Close to fields, on the beach and 3 other families stayed in same complex so it made it even better! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in this condo. It was a great location. Condo was so cute and accommodating for our family of 5. Property manager was easily accessible by email. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay and amenities ! Pictures don’t do justice

Balcony is bigger In person and offers great sunset views . Some of the pools were heated and hot tubs kept at great temp . Even got in the lazy river in December ! Fun restaurants close by easy walk . Full size fitness center was nice . Will definitely be back.

Stayed here dozens of times and this room is one of the better ones.

Well apportioned room with fantastic placement on the property. High enough from pool noise and a great view. Furniture was comfortable and clean. It's time to replace some of the cookware :) but I've found that to be common in vacation rentals. Overall a good stay.

Great stay!

We loved our room, it was the perfect space for the 4 of us. We still had a great view of the ocean and the kids loved being able to see “the big pool”. Room was clean! My only suggestion is having more cooking utensils and less glassware available. (We have littles, I prefer using non breakable!)

Condo 507

We had a wonderful time. Condo fit our needs. There needs to be some updating in the condo. Baseboards and inside cabinets needed cleaning. Living room pull out sofa storage needs to be replaced. Sliding door needs cleaning at the base, lots of sand in the sliders. Other than that good trip and enjoyed our stay

Well Stocked

This condo has super easy check in. There were plenty of carts to get all your stuff to your condo. Once you've unloaded your stuff, the parking garage has easy access to your condo. If you're condo is on the 5th floor, park on the 5th floor of the parking garage. There's no need to take an elevator. Beach access is super easy also. The condo was well supplied - 3 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand soap, 3 rolls of paper towels, dish detergent, beach towels, beach chairs... and there was even a crock pot. We had a nice time.

Great location

The location & amenities of this condo were excellent. Lazy river & large pool area were excellent! There were attendants cleaning the large pool on a daily basis. Condo was rather small & living room/bunk room furniture was rather worn for the amount of money we paid. Condo needs to have a deep clean done - toilet had mold around ring & floor had not been mopped in a very long time. Another thing we noticed about the property was the tile floor around the building was very dirty & needed to be cleaned. When we arrived, we noticed 2 cone type signs around 2 really dirty/soiled areas. Instead of the property cleaning those really dirty areas, they put signs up to avoid that area. Those signs were still up when we departed a week later & area was never cleaned.

Answered Prayer

We had a wonderful time enjoying God's great creation. I asked God to bless us with getting to see his creation. We walked out on a sand bar and had a pod of dolphins swim within 12 or so feet of us. I had also been hoping to find an intact sand dollar as I have only ever found pieces of ones. My husband found one as we were walking along the shore at this point following the dolphins. As Easter is approaching I love how the sand dollar tells the story of Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection. The tiny star in the center reminds us of the star that guided the wisemen. The flower on the front side looks like an Easter Lily. The backside has the design of a poinsettia, which people usually use to decorate their home around Christmas. When you break it open, the five teeth of the sand dollar are shaped like a dove. Doves represent peace. Christ Jesus is described as the Prince of Peace in scripture (Isaish 9:6). Luke 3:22 tells how the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form on Jesus like a dove when he was getting baptised. There are five holes in the sand dollar. One for every wound Jesus received during his crucification. When his body was broken on the cross, it released a way for humanity to be at peace with our Heavenly Father. "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1. God loves us. He gave us his son and his beautiful creation to enjoy! We would stay at this condo again.
