The cabin was warm & cozy, located on a quiet street surrounded by towering pines. We enjoyed the local wildlife and were visited daily by grazing deer and wild turkeys. The host was friendly and quick to respond to all of our queries. It snowed on the last day of our stay. So peaceful and serene that we didn't want to leave!

The open living room/kitchen creates a cozy space a long with a large wood burning fire place. The outdoor deck is a huge positive and is usable in all seasons.Overall a very comfortable home and recommended

Everything was fine , I wasn’t aware it had bunk beds I overlooked that so I slept the floor , can’t put a 200 pound guy in those bunk beds other than that it was fine

The property was just as described. It was a wonderful fit for my family. We really enjoyed the deck and surrounding trees that kept us cool. Our favorite winter weekend in paradise

My husband and I and our three-year-old English Creme Golden Retriever, Gracie had an absolutely fabulous time in the cozy cabin, the view was indeed stunning, and it is a little slice of heaven. We enjoyed the snowfall while we were there, it was truly a winter wonderland. Walking in the snow around the neighborhood with Gracie was so much fun, Gracie was as happy as we were. The cabin is just beautiful, very spacious, it is immaculate and well stocked with everything you could ever need for any occasion. We loved using the fireplace and had a couple of wood fires and also brought Duraflames which made the cabin even cozier. We were very grateful that we could bring Gracie with us, Jeff had toys, treats, and provided water and food bowls as well. We are already planning our visit next winter. Thank you, Jeff, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to enjoy a little winter getaway. Jules, Stephen and Miss Gracie :-)

Great mountain cabin

The cabin is located in a very quiet forested neighborhood with a nice deck overlooking a golf course. Portions of the cabin have been remodeled, and everything was very clean and comfortable. The host was very attentive and we had no issues with the booking process. Overall, it was a great place for a quick weekend trip to a beautiful area, and we would definitely come back.

Great Get Away

My wife and I stayed here with my brother and sister in law. The house was well stocked and met our needs perfectly. The deck is outstanding and is situated in a very serene and peaceful setting. We would definitely stay here again.

Best Deck for Relaxing in Nature

This was an amazing find—the back deck has an incredible view of the mountains and is surrounded by pines. The deck furniture is very comfortable and great for relaxing together while enjoying the Sierra evening and viewing the stars. The cabin was cozy, clean, and stayed nicely warm with the heater. Jeff was excellent to interact with—he replies quickly, checked in with us via Vrbo during our stay, and made it overall a great experience.

Time away from the city

Giving this a 5 star as it worked out great for us to get out of town and spend time in the mountains. We did a little exploring and a little fishing. It was comfortable, clean, quite, and just right for us.

Great Getaway!

Wonderful location to kick back and relax. Very clean and comfortable. The deck is the best place to unwind. The hosts are the best! If you like to fish, golf, hike or just chill, you could not ask for a better location!

Family Thanksgiving

We had our annual Thanksgiving celebration in Plumas Pines. I have been using VRBO properties for over 20 years for golf outings with four couples and I can honestly say this property is one of cleanest ones we have ever rented. A great quite beautiful area. Jeff was tremendous to work with His place is definitely a keeper. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful location although...

TV rules of having to have your own streaming password was very frustrating. We were unable to watch playoff games, local news, etc. The oven was very dirty and the fireplace not cleaned. Had to use room freshener to get rid of soot smell. Light bulbs out in both bathrooms, when we opened screen door to go out on deck, it fell off the runner. We replaced it and didn't use it again. Ice maker and water dispenser did not work on the fridge. Bag of dog waste left on side of house by previous occupant. We were curious what we paid a cleaning deposit for. We left it cleaner than when we arrived. We will not return

Perfect getaway spot!

Well appointed home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to golf and hiking. The kitchen was very well provisioned and we had everything we needed. Nice large private deck out back. It was just the two of us, but would be great for a family. Host was easy to communicate with. We would definitely rent this again!

Graeagle stay

Great house and great experience. Loved just sitting on the deck and having a glass of wine. Just 5 min walk to the river and 10 min drive to town and the shops. Will definitely be back.
