Stay in this completely remodeled beach home a half a block to the beach, and just a couple of blocks from downtown and the channel! This house is right in the middle of all of the fun of Ludington. Take a short drive to Ludington state park to go on the bike trails, hiking trails, or rent canoes or tubes and float from Hamlin lake down the river to Lake Michigan!

With 8 bedrooms, this is the perfect spot for a family reunion. This home features a hot tub, and gaming room with an arcade machine, foosball, air hockey, and shuffleboard! Even the garage is tricked out with a pool table, tv, refrigerator, and dart board.Rent "The Lighthouse Cottage" next door if you need more room. (Vrbo #2812633)

This was one of the best houses we have stayed in. It was clean , spacious and close to everything we want even the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. Everyone was so friendly. I would definitely stay here again . Thanks to our wonderful host and thanks for the great communication.

We had 10 guests and the house was perfect for everyone’s accommodations. Perfect location for the Ludington Lake stride half marathon. Everyone had an enjoyable weekend and everyone said we must do this house again next year.

We enjoyed the easy access to the beach and many activities. Our blended family enjoyed the game room with air hockey/pool table, camp fire and grilling dinners. We had ample room and enjoyed the outside sitting areas too. It was great.

This home is prefect for a large family. It’s beautiful and functional. Large rooms, game rooms, large 10 person table for dining and extra chairs. Large kitchen and bathrooms. This is one of my favorite rental homes. I love it! Well appointed and attention to detail everywhere. Class act!

Ludington vacation

This home was very well equipped and in an ideal location in a lovely residential neighborhood with a short walk to the beach and to downtown businesses. We had ample space for our family group of 14 which included two toddlers and an infant. This was a great choice for us and we look forward to returning!

Wonderful stay!

Our family had such a wonderful vacation at this house! We’ve been coming to Ludington for years and this is the first time we’ve felt like we had enough space and everyone in the group was really comfortable. The games in the house were great to keep kids entertained (and fun for adults, too) and there was plenty of space for people of all ages to spend time in, separately or gathered together. The location can’t be beat! We loved it here and are looking forward to coming back next summer.

Wedding weekend stay

We absolutely loved this house! We had our wedding in town and had our wedding party all stay with us. Those had hadnt visited Ludington really loved how it was close to the beach and down town. The house was beautifully renovated and decorated. It made our wedding weekend even better!

Beautiful Home

Hello. This was one of the nicest properties we have stayed at using VRBO. It was perfect for our family. It is nicer than the pictures indicate. We were so happy upon our arrival. The owners have taken excellent care of this house and every room and bed was so comfortable. We will visit again.

Beautiful updated home with original details adding to its charm. The Ashby's have worked hard to create a welcoming vacation home within walking distance of the beach and lighthouse. Too many great things to possibly mention. Absolutely gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Lots of room with a great location!

We had a family gathering in Ludington with our four children's families and the house served us well. The open floor plan on the first floor provided lots of open space for us all to be together while there were enough rooms for privacy. If you enjoy interestingly repurposed grand legacy houses, this is the place for you. You also can't beat the short walk to the beach and House of Flavors!

Perfect place

We hosted a summer work retreat, and loved the accommodations. There was plenty of seating, both for dining and lounging. The location was walkable both to the lake and downtown Ludington. We only had one small inconvenience that 2 of the bedroom doors are barn doors, therefore lacking in privacy (which made it a touch uncomfortable while staying with colleagues). All in all, we had a wonderful time!

Family Holiday get together

We needed a house that could accommodate 16 people and this house did it. We had plenty of room and lots of extra activities to keep everyone entertained. The home had everything we needed except there were not enough towels for everyone.

Lovely lodging in Ludington

We are a large, extended family, ranging from teenagers to seniors. Location was excellent, a short walk to the beach as well as downtown. Kitchen and baths were clean, spacious, and well stocked with needed items. Furnishings were new and tastefully done. Beds were comfortable. With separate air conditioning units in each room, temperatures were adjustable throughout. We would strongly recommend this large and comfortable house for your next vacation.
