‘TipSea Turtle’ is a newly refurbished home-away-from-home Island Retreat! This home is conveniently located in the heart of the island within walking distance to the Beach, Dining, Shopping, and Entertainment. Two-Story, 4-bedroom, 2 bath home with extensive outdoor entertainment space and expansive front porch. Enjoy the best beaches (0.3 miles), award winning dining, and the Pleasure Pier (0.9 miles), all within walking distance or short car ride.

The first-floor master bedroom features a comfortable queen bed with a 13.5 inch mattress dressed in linens. The bedroom also contains a Smart TV, closet, and ensuite bathroom, including a large walk-in shower with a rainfall shower head and handheld sprayer combo. Premium, spa-like Towels provided.

Second floor guests have an abundance of accommodation options, including a spacious bunkroom, with a full-over-full bunk bed, which sleeps four guests comfortably. The additional trundle bed allows for sleeping arrangement expansion. The second bedroom features a King bed with a luxury 12” mattress and dressed linens, a flat screen Smart TV, dresser and closet. Additionally, there is a third bedroom on the second floor, with a comfortable queen bed, 12” mattress, Smart TV, Chest and closet. All beds with high-quality, memory foam mattress. Second floor guests Enjoy a full bathroom with marble tile surround.

A Pack & Play is available in 2nd floor bedroom closet.

The Kitchen is sure to please any chef! Stainless steel appliances, full-size refrigerator, ice maker, water dispenser and cookware for making delicious meals is only a few of the charming options this kitchen has to offer. The kitchen also includes a Ninja Coffee Maker, Blender & Toaster, amongst other amenities.

When not exploring the beaches and what the island has to offer in entertainment (restaurants/bars, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, The Docks, The ‘Strand’, The Pier), the living space boasts a comfortable genuine-leather sofa and seating for entertaining friends or family, along with a 65” 4K Smart TV.

In the Backyard, guests will enjoy a firepit and lighted custom deck space for entertaining. In the enclosed storage shed, you will find everything needed for an enjoyable day at the beach. This includes a wagon, rolling cooler, boogie boards, beach toys and beach chairs for easy transport back and forth.

Guest Access

Parking for vehicles is located in the back of the home in a private, enclosed garage and driveway. There is also room for one vehicle in the front of the house. This allows easy access to your vehicles when you’re ready to explore everything Galveston has to offer!

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for the run like a diva half marathon race. The location was great and we walked everywhere. Beach is easy walk. The host was very accommodating and we arranged a late checkout that was much appreciated. The house was very cozy and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was very clean and a cute backyard to hang out in especially if you have a dog. We loved the location. It’s a very short drive to the strand or Seawall with lots of restaurants to choose from. It was fun walking around the neighborhood looking at the historic houses.

The house was great overall. Our host was great at responding to a couple of things that came up and helped us out pretty quickly. The location of the property was great and near everything. The house could've been cleaner but it it is what it is. Also the back door had a busted window that kept chipping away as it was the primary door we used and could've been an accident waiting to happen. Also the outside sitting area and the extra little things in the shed were not as pictured but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Overall great house and great host.

This was the perfect location for our family spring break. Centrally located to shopping food and beach access. We never had to travel far and there was so much to do here. The home was well kept and suited our needs. Not only did it have space for everyone to have their own privacy but also accommodated our relaxation times!

The pictures have to be at least 5 years old and in no way reflect how the property actually looks. Holes in the walls, lights and fans that don't work, plumbing that is backwards, bugs, outlets pushed into the wall, grout gone from tile leaving sharp edges on the tile, etc. I have no idea how there are any good reviews in the past 6 months. These are issues that have obviously been there for a long time. I will let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Thank you for the feedback! We pride ourselves on cleanliness, regular pest control treatments and maintenance so we were surprised to see such a low review. Before receiving your post-stay request for a refund, we had already replaced the wicker furniture on the front porch which was showing wear from the salt air. We also have fixed the outlet, dishwasher trim panel and fan, Those were remedied immediately as well. Thank you for the picture of the exterior wall of our shed (not attached to the house), which resulted in some damage from a recent bad storm, We will look to repair the paint and drywall. A new fire-pit is on the way as well. Guest’s feedback like yours will help us make sure our future guest’s experience remains excellent.

We loved staying at this house!! Fantastic location - walked to seawall, Bryan Museum and several bars and restaurants. Quick drive to the Strand! Everything was clean and functioning. Jason was extremely welcoming and receptive. Lots of area to spread out and/or gather, and the little back yard patio was wonderful. Will definitely stay here our next trip to Galveston!

My family of 5 including our dog loved our stay here. Beautiful & comfortable interior caused you feel right at home. Clean, welcoming and charming are just a few words that come to mind. Literally a short walk from the beach. Washer & dryer to get the sand out your shorts. Lovely back yard with seating around fire pit. Jason always had everything code related sent to us before could even ask “what’s the…” From start to finish a real class act.

Great House and Location

Misleading listing. Half of the fixtures were damaged. We were without power for half of the trip. Remotes to fans were all mixed around and didn’t work. Very disappointed and frustrated. Will not be staying at one of these properties again.
