The Blue Beach Paradise is a unique two-story gem in the heart of walkable, eclectic and dog friendly Ocean Beach. The home is designed to provide relaxation, comfort, and entertainment.

Make lasting and fond memories of your stay!

The upstairs has two cozy bedrooms, full bathroom, workstation, and a large living room with a bar and a refrigerator to keep your beverages cool and close by while you enjoy a movie on the gigantic smart 82-inch 4K TV with surround sound.

The downstairs has a cozy small, one bed, one bath and is equipped with two kitchens for creative cooking with your friends, or to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea. We also included three refrigerators, two laundry stations and a large, smart 76-inch 4k TV for your enjoyment and comfort.

The private zen-like backyard retreat has ample seating under sun shade sails or relax on lounge chairs and soak up the sun. You can also prepare delicious BBQs and enjoy the gas fire pit under soft nightlights along a tranquil bamboo fence setting.

The front yard has chairs and tables and two large lifeguard chairs to relax and enjoy the scenery. There is also a second grill to prepare BBQs.

Beach toys, towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and wagons are available for your days at the beach. We also provide outdoor hoses in the yards for rinsing after swimming in the ocean or for hosing and cleaning your dogs (we love dogs and permit up to two friendly breeds).

This was a perfect place to stay for 9 of us (age range of 1yo to 75yo!) and our dog! Walking distance to the beach and many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Communication with ghe host was best to none. He responded quickly with all the information/answers you need. We even had an issue with one of the bathrooms T the beginning of the trip, and he took care of it right away. Would stay here again!

Wonderful location in the heart of OB, close to everything. Was in town visiting family and we walked everywhere which was great. David was a great host. We had 3 teens (19. 15. 14) who had no problems. We used the outdoor seating area even in December because it was the largest space. If you have smaller kids, ask about the floorplan as I would not have liked having one bedroom separate from the others.

Family and Dog Vacay

Great house for our family and 2 dogs. We loved sitting outside on the patio. Would love to have had a dining table outside but we managed with the coffee table and side tables available. About a 20 minute walk to the beach we used the wagons and beach chairs they were a great amenity. Had to go buy beach towels but no biggie Target is a 10 min walk away. Overall would stay here again it was great for our family and dogs.

Great Property!

Our extended family of seven stayed here for several nights. It was perfect for our needs! Room for everyone and great use of outdoor living space. Try to stay there on a Wednesday—walking distance to the great OB farmers market.

Cozy beach house

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. There were 9 of us (6 adults, 3 kids) and 2 dogs and we were very comfortable. The property is close to restaurants, grocery stores and only about 2 blocks from the beach. We would stay here again when we come visit San Diego next time!

Family birhtday / reunion gathering

The host was great at responding right away, very accommodating with our schedule coming from the east coast. Home was very well stocked for cooking, we ate out. Perfect walking distance to the main street where we met the rest of the family. Cozy little beach home, easy check in and access to property for coming and going. We had 6 in all.

Beautiful Place

This place was amazing to stay at. The property manager was very helpful and provided me with all the information in a timely manner. This stay was a surprise bachelorette for my sister and it did not disappoint. The place was beautiful and I couldn’t have imagined it better. We all really enjoyed ourselves this stay.

Amazing!!

We had the most relaxing vacation! This property had everything you could think of. The outdoor space was comfortable and private. It was also completely fenced in for our dogs and they had a great time as well.

Nice Rental in Convenient location

Nice little house 5 minutes walk from beach, about 2 miles from Seaworld and approx 8 miles from zoo. House was well equiped with 2 kitchens and a propane BBQ. We had a great time! Highly recommend.

Family gathering in prime location

Stayed at this OB gem with a few other couples and used it as a home base for a local wedding. The property had two separate living rooms, so we could escape if we needed our own time. Beds were comfortable and the property had everything we needed. It’s set up to originally be two different rentals, so there’s two small kitchen. We used one kitchen to store drinks for everyone and the other for our main cooking area. The property had a large backyard with tons of seating and cute patio lights. We had an amazing barbecue and the owner was fine with us having extra people over for a gathering. That night was the most fun. We were also in the heart of OB and every morning tried a different quaint coffee shop. I LOVED our time at the rental and would absolutely stay there again.

house was great! comfortable, well stalked, close to everything, comfortable and the beds, not sure what kind of mattress upstairs in queen bed but I sunk in! beds are important to me and it was amazing! so was the big bean bags!!!! for sure would come again!!!

Great little getaway

The house and yard were great, everything was as described. The host thinks of every little thing such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, Keurig pods, etc. House is walking distance to everything OB has to offer, including Dog Beach. Parking can be a challenge for larger vehicles but I was always able to find street parking within reasonable distance. I would rent this place again if going to OB.

Amazing Property

One of my favorite places to date. Proximity to everything San Diego related is perfect. Walking distance to the beach, 10 minutes to SeaWorld, Zoo and downtown. House was perfect for the dogs and kids as well. Loved that there is a functional backyard to hang out in! The property owner (David) was prompt and responsive the entire stay. I will definitely be booking this property next time we head to San Diego.

Fantastic getaway in Ocean Beach!

OB is our favorite neighborhood in San Diego and this property was the perfect fit for our family. My husband and I traveled with my parents and our dog. The house can be easily divided into 2 living spaces which was perfect for us as it gave our group the ability to be together when we wanted as well as our own private living and kitchen spaces. We walked everywhere from here and really enjoyed the lovely outdoor space with the fire pit. We will absolutely rent the house again when back in OB and thank you David!

Blue House Paradise!

The house met our needs and then some! David was extremely kind and helpful! We were there with 3 children who had space to play and enjoy s'mores. The outside spaces were perfect for relaxing - throughout the day. Stores, restaurants, and beach areas were all in an easy walking distance. Beach items were in great supply. We look forward to returning to this slice of paradise!

Family Beach

The property worked out great for us. Four Adults and 1 eleven year old. They had upstairs we stayed down. The place was very accomodating. Easy walk to the beach and shops. However, I did not realize that all the planes from the airport fly directly overhead. It was over cast so we just heard them did not see the airplanes. I am assuming it was directly, it sounded like it. Do not know if that is a game changer.

Definitely will stay again

The only negative (but not even that bad) was an issue before check-in which needed extra time by housekeeping to be resolved to prepare the house. The property owner asked us to check in at 5 pm instead of 3 pm. But, to compensate for the inconvenience, we were allowed to check out two additional hours later, 1 pm instead of the usual 11 am. I, and the others that stayed found this very reasonable. Everything else was all positive. And the beds were VERY comfortable.

The cutest boho bungalow

My sister is getting married in Hawaii this September so we wanted to kick off the wedding festivities with some early beach vibes and this cute boho bungalow did not disappoint! First, David was super easy to contact, from the beginning to the very end. He was kind enough to let us check in an hour earlier so we could decorate for my sister’s bachelorette. Second, the location was perfect. It was about 10 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from the pier, and only 15 minutes from the fun spots like Mission Beach, Oldtown, the Gaslamp area, and Littls Italy. Finally, the home itself was so charming. It had enough space to accommodate 6-7 girls comfortably. The space also had 2 full bathrooms and kitchens (yes kitchens) which was super convenient. To top it off the back patio/yard was a nice way to end our trip. All of the girls sat around the fire just chatting and making the best memories.

Convenient OB Vrbo

This listing is as described & the location is excellent! As a native to SD, OB is OG San Diego vibes. Very friendly, laid back, funky, fun, and a bit gritty, which we love. The owner was responsive & professional. Accommodates a family of 4 nicely with separate chill spaces for kids & adults. The mattresses are not comfy (esp for couple) and should be replaced. The property is 2 units separated by a door which can be left open for access to each unit. The kitchen(s) are small with no formal dining area. The cleanliness of the listing is a 2-3 star and we bought some cleaning supplies because the listing had none. Definitely evident that dogs are allowed and seems that prior visitors were not very respectful making sure their pets went outside to potty (lots of rug spots & our dogs were on a sniffing rampage constantly). We’ve stayed in other dog friendly places & haven’t experienced this level of “ick factor”. The washer/dryer is a one stop shop combo and seems ventless so, the “drying” of clothes resulted in
not so dry. The decor was beach boho but, overall, the inside & out provided way too much: furniture (and the cushioned furniture outside was unkempt), cookware & wine glasses were endless and disorganized; only a handful of actual cups & not a substantial quantity of dishware. As for coffee, there are many cute shops to grab some as the units only have K-cup & it’s not great coffee. Also, you’ll need to buy sugar unless you love Splenda. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Good location, neglected home

This place has a good location near the beaches and shops and restaurants. OB is known for homeless, drug abuse and other things so be ready to encounter people trying to get in the property. We had people trying to enter through the back yard.This property is marked as a pet friendly but in fact it isn’t, that said you can go out and walk but no space or location for pet in the back yard.I gave a one star rating for cleanliness because the floors and rug are not in a good shape. Luckily we had plenty of blankets with us to use for our children when they sat and played in the living room. I realized how dirty the rugs are, after wiping some water off the rugs with a towel, it came black. All carpets and rugs need to be replaced.The mattress in the single bedroom upstairs is not suitable for sleeping, because the middle part drops in and makes a hole. The mattress needs to be replaced.There’s no proper kitchen or dining room. Instead there are two makeshift kitchens because the owner is renting this home as two separate spaces. Or used to do. We had a whole place to ourselves and still didn’t make sense and wasn’t comfortable.We got charged for replacing a towel hanger that collapsed. Whoever initially built that, didn’t use the proper anchors for mounting anything in the drywall. And the hanger was used for hair drier and towels so it was heavy for the three small anchors all next to each other that weakened the drywall.Pics don’t do justice. Don’t recommend.
