SituĂ© dans Big Trees Village, le Wolf Den est une belle retraite sur 2 Ă©tages avec 3 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain, un loft et une grande salle de jeux avec table de billard, Pac-Man, baby-foot, jukebox et plus! De plus, tous les clients en Ă©tĂ© ont ** accĂšs gratuit ** au centre de loisirs du quartier et Ă  2 piscines privĂ©es! Avec environ 2400 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace de vie, le plan d'Ă©tage de la cabine classique comprend une grande salle lumineuse et ouverte adjacente Ă  la salle Ă  manger et Ă  la cuisine. La grande chambre dispose d'un superbe mur de fenĂȘtres, poĂȘle Ă  bois avec de la roche foyer, et de la flambĂ©e noueux plafonds de pin. La salle Ă  manger et la cuisine bien approvisionnĂ©e ont de beaux planchers en bois et une barre de petit dĂ©jeuner pour des siĂšges supplĂ©mentaires. SituĂ©e Ă  l'Ă©tage principal, la chambre principale dispose d'un sauna dans la salle de bain attenante, tandis que les 2 autres chambres, la salle de jeux et le loft confortable se trouvent Ă  l'Ă©tage. La grande salle de jeu est un divertissement central avec un juke-box, table de billard, Mme Jeu Pac Man, baby-foot, tĂ©lĂ©vision et bar. House was OK. Our original rental cancelled so we had to find something in short notice and it did the job. The cleanliness was a little lacking. We found an AirPod in the master bedding, which concerned me. Towels were wet in the washing machine when we arrived and we had no idea they were there until we went to run a load. Only 1 roll of TP per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels. When a place sleeps 10 that seems very low. House set up and location were both great. Large space to gather as a family and kitchen was fully stocked with all supplies. Lots of items were broken or on the verge of breaking (recliners, shoe and blanket boxes, etc). As a whole it worked for us and was fine. But the negatives probably made it so we won’t rent here again. Purely the house and not the management. The house was COVERED in “to do” and “not to do” signs - complete with a binder of how they wanted their pots and pans stored. Labels and directions everywhere, and not in a helpful way. In a bossy way. I understand it is a vulnerable position to rent your home but if you are going to do it, you have to be OK with that. This owner clearly isn’t comfortable having people in their home. That was a bummer - we felt like a burden.

Great Winter Getaway

We had a great stay at Wolf Den. The kids had fun at Spicer Snow Park. The house had plenty of room for our family and was stocked with all kinds of games and even a pool table upstairs. We will be back!

Delightful and great space for a couple families. The only upgrade would be a an A/C for the warmer days in summer. Really nice home.

Perfect for a large group

This was a second stay with a large group. Especially if traveling w teens or young adults the layout is great with master/private bath on main floor and other bedrooms/game room above for privacy. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for a big group. Location was convenient to Bear and in fall to big trees, the river etc. Listing was described. Only tip was that there weren’t enough towels for our group so had to ask one of our guests to bring additional. That and no sheets that we could find for loft futon and/or pull out sofabed downstairs. If I had a large group would book again.

Family stay

The house itself was nice. However it is really outdated. The furniture is old. It would be nice if they had a tv in the living room I had my small kids I have to be watching while cooking. It would’ve made things easier. Also, the floors seem really dirty. No shoes were allowed inside and my socks were filthy because of the no shoes were allowed inside.

Fun Getaway!!!

The house was perfect!! It had everything we needed for our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The kids had a great time and didn't want to leave the rec room. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Family friendly and comfortable

The home is very well appointed with all necessities including towels, bedding and kitchen tools. The layout allows for some separation as there is a "loft" area and "game room" both with a TV. The neighborhood is family oriented and friendly and having use of the club pool was really nice. Overall we would recommend and will book again.

Family Getaway Weekend

We rented this cabin for a weekend to getaway and enjoy the snow and relax. The pictures online were exactly what we were looking for. Once we saw the cabin in person all of our expectations were blown away! Wolf Den cabin is extremely clean, everything you could think of was supplied for us to use, we've rented other cabins that barely had any pots and pans, this one has EVERYTHING!!! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, everyone had their own privacy when they wanted it. The pool table, pacman game, and jukebox were a HUGE hit!! We didn't have time to enjoy the huge movie and book choices but definaey will be booking Wolf Den cabin again!!!! Our family had an amazing time!

We stayed as a family of 4 (2 teen/tween). The pool room upstairs was fantastic for us to hang out in. Loved the well stocked kitchen. It was nice and clean and great for sledding out front.

Weekend at the Wolf Den

The Wolf Den is set up very well for family fun. The kids loved the game room and convenient access to the snow. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We had a family reunion.

We had a family reunion with 6 adults and 4 children. The house worked great for our group and the kids loved all the games. The pool was a huge hit and we loved ending our day cooling off there. The house was as good or better than the listing.

Spectacular setting

From listening to the silence of the Sierras to watching the snow fall, this cabin has all you need. Steam room, rec room, pool table, foos ball, even a juke box! Too much to list! Easy check in, beautiful cabin, minutes to town and minutes to skiing and sno-parks. Will definitely be coming back

Cozy cabin winter stay

My family of 11 stayed at this cabin to have a laid back cabin celebration for December birthdays. The cabin was perfect for all ages who stayed. There was plenty of places to relax, books and games to read and a game room the kids really enjoyed. The pool table and pac man arcade game kept them very entertained. The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful. We were lucky to see a bit of snow as well. Overall amazing stay, would recommend to anyone.

Family Vacation

Plenty of space for my big family. Lots of things to do for kids ranging from age 3-16. Big Trees are only a couple miles a way and a must do! Only reason for 4 stars is we had to hall out all the extra garbage.

Great for large group

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The game room was the biggest bonus as our group spent most of their time up there - Pac-Man, jukebox, pool Table, fuzball, mini fridge, microwave. Plenty of amenities, three TVs DVDs games, tons of books to read. We enjoyed grilling and hanging out on the deck. We had to move the outdoor furniture from the garage as it was already stored. Didn’t try darts in the garage but did play ping pong. The only thing was that we had 14 adult size humans and were expecting beds for 14. Technically, there are three bedrooms with doors, 4 if you count the game room which has a single with a trundle. If everyone wants privacy and a door there are beds for 9. If you count the futon couch upstairs and Pull out couch in living room that makes 13. So one of our people slept on the reclining chair. They provide sheets and there are plenty of pillows but we couldn’t find extra blankets. In the winter that would not fly. One bath upstairs for all of those people was a little tight. And the toilet downstairs clogged a couple times but we plunged it and all was fine. We had the large master suite downstairs with adjoining master bath. That was great for privacy and quiet. Master has TV.Master bath has a shower that turns into a steam room but we didn’t try that. There is a 1/2 bath w sink and toilet in the laundry room near the garage downstairs and that was a lifesaver. Bring TP and paper towels as only one roll provided for each. Dining room table seats 6 and two bar stools at counter so if you have a big group like we did need to use outdoor furniture on the patio to all be able to eat at the same time. The small man made snow shoe lake is about a mile walk but was drained. Though it was beautiful to walk around. Enjoyed White Pines Lake which is about 5 mi away. Some in our group went down near Murphy’s for clif/rock jumping. Only bummed about having to haul out our trash since our group made more than would fit in the garbage cans in the near box. I wasn’t prepared to do that. I definitely would recommend for a large group. Would have liked to stay one more night. Thank you!
