South Venice

We enjoyed our stay … great to get away from the snow and ice storms. Great proximity to Detwilers groceries which we love and to dog beach . We’ll be back again soon .

South Venice getaway

This was a wonderful getaway from Michigan weather. Host was very responsive with the few minor concerns that we had. Kitchen was well stocked which was appreciated since my husband is disabled and we mostly eat in. Pool/lanai area was exceptional. Grateful for the fenced yard for our little dogs. Quiet neighborhood was great for walking. Close to beaches, restaurants and grocery store. Would definitely recommend for couples or families with children.

Wonderful 3 months in Venice

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 months break from the cold in Lana And Alex’s cozy home. The home had everything we needed, and our hosts were always responsive and helpful to our needs. The pool and patio area were wonderful. The location is very convenient to restaurants, groceries, beaches, and even the neat old car museum/showroom is worth a visit! Thank you Alex and Lana! Cheers

South Venice

We really enjoyed our stay at Lana's house. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. Plenty of towels as there were 9 of us. We did have 9 adults so two had to sleep on pads but made the most of it and seemed to get a good night's sleep. the third had an air mattress. Would definitely stay there again!

Nice stay

We stayed for 5 nights. Property was as described. House was clean and spacious and the pool and outside area was very nice. Couch was very uncomfortable but we used some of the pillows from bedding to make it work. Lots of games ( located in the orange ottoman) which we found on the last day there. Would suggest owners put together a welcome letter or some sort of guidance for where things are located. Owner was good to answer questions but seemed to take a bit longer to respond. Also dryer seems to be having issues but we made the most of it.

Property was as expected and listed on the site. There is one of the chairs at the kitchen table that fell apart, rollers fell off the bottom.

In a decent, convenient neighborhood, 3 queen beds, 2 baths, pet friendly fenced in yard. The manager was quick to respond to texts. Nice outside area and pool. Plenty of table seating, but the couch is pretty uncomfortable/worn. The kitchen was well stocked, but the cookware is quite worn. There is a grill, but it’s a small charcoal grill. We rented for the week for our daughter’s wedding- they have a very strict policy on any additional people in the house- even just to stop by and say hello they wanted us to pay for each additional person! Overall it worked well for what we needed.

Perfect Experience!

This was our first time using Vrbo in Florida (we have family there that we visit often). Our experience with this property couldn't have been more perfect. Truly a special place that made us feel right at home and we had no issues whatsoever! The host responded to any question we had very quickly and made sure that we were enjoying our stay and had no issues throughout the week. Close to everything and the beaches nearby (Manasota Key, Blind Pass, Sharkys) were all incredible and so easy to get to! We plan on staying here again in the future when we visit family. A hidden gem of a place to stay! We couldn't be more pleased with our stay and hope to come back.

A perfect vacation

Very comfortable, only missing a propane grill to my tastes (charcoal is more work tan so want). Near every beach we wanted and the beach dogs could go on was better than the human only ones.

Nice Rental

Home was clean and well kept. Quiet working class neighborhood. Outdoor lanai was wonderful, especially the outdoor TV. The Pool was heated and yard fenced for our dog. Lana was very responsive with our questions and flexible with our requests. Close to beach and restaurants. We will rent again next time we visit if available. Thank You!

The house was very comfortable, with a well stocked kitchen and nice linens. The outdoor space was very nice with a pool, lounging chairs, dining table and sitting area.
