EN RAISON D'UNE ANNULATION RÉCENTE DU 26 AU 29 AOÛT OUVERTE. RESERVE MAINTENANT! L'ancienne maison d'un Ă©crivain et Ă©ducateur, le pavillon de cette 1920 a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement restaurĂ© pour offrir un sĂ©jour trĂšs confortable Ă  la plus belle plage de l'AmĂ©rique. À quelques pas de la promenade et de la plage (trois maisons de la promenade) et prĂšs de Belmont Park et le Roller Coaster, la maison est Ă©quipĂ©e avec tout ce que vous aurez besoin pour des vacances parfaites. boogie board, kayak, chaises de plage, jouets pour le sable, un garage et une douche extĂ©rieure supplĂ©mentaire.

La chambre principale a un lit queen et TV Ă©cran plat. La deuxiĂšme chambre a des lits superposĂ©s avec un simple et double. Le futon confortable dans le salon en fait un double, oĂč il ya une autre tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat et iPod / lecteur de CD de musique. Nous avons aussi un Pack N Jouez pour votre bambin.

Les Ă©tagĂšres sont bordĂ©es de plus de 300 livres de qualitĂ© de toutes les variĂ©tĂ©s. Je garde les prix trĂšs abordable par rapport Ă  toute autre maison autonome Ă  Mission Beach, donc il livres trĂšs bien. Beaucoup de gens aiment vraiment ce chalet de style historique sentent plutĂŽt que 'tout-le-mĂȘmes «condos qui bordent une grande partie de la plage, et pour une bonne raison. Les planchers de bois dur et nĂ©erlandaise porte Ă  l'avant offrent une Ă©tape nostalgique dans le temps, tout en profitant des amĂ©liorations Ă  la maison au cours des annĂ©es.

Quand nos enfants sont grands nous ne reculant !! Alors, venez profiter de la Mission Beach Cottage tandis que vous pouvez. :)

Just returned from an unforgettable stay at this charming beach house, and I cannot stop thinking about the unbelievable location! Seriously, you could not get any closer to the ocean. Stepping out the door and hearing the waves crash right there was pure magic. If your priority is direct, stunning, and immediate access to the sand and surf, this property is an absolute dream come true.

The house is very cute. It is dated but definitely adorable. The garage is a very tight fit. It was chilly one morning & the heater wasn't working. We contacted the owner & it was taken care of that day. We had an amazing week being so close to the beach was fantastic.

Fantastic location; lots of character; plenty of space including washer and dryer; the kitchen needs a few items but it's fine for beach living for a week and there are plenty of places to walk to get coffee and breakfast so no need to cook anyway. Parking in the garage is a real plus, but the car has to be small to fit. Mission Beach is very crowded.

This is a charming house with a quick easy walk to the beach. It is an older home, classic for the area, so no A/C (but plenty of fans) or dishwasher, but we've been here many times and love it.

Our family’s favorite tradition

We’ve been staying at the beach cottage for a few years now. My kiddos were devastated when we couldn’t come last year, so it was super important to us to be able to come back this summer. We made the best memories together and just adore the originality of the home. The location is perfect and the accommodations are always incredible. I want to start off by saying that my family and I had an amazing time staying at Dave's cottage. The proximity to the beach (Maybe 100 feet to the boardwalk) was the key selling point and we will 100% be staying again. We walked down to the boardwalk at least 8 time each day to either play in the water or just simply stare out at the ocean. The Tourist shops, Belmont Park, and restaurants are also only a 5-minute walk which meant we rarely had to drive for food/entertainment, or random gifts for the kiddo.As i was booking, i already knew that the place needed a little TLC (per other reviews) which was fine for my family and I as it does have the authentic beach house vibe we were looking for and we are very much into old, historic places. However, i gave the cottage 4-5 stars because some things truly did need some touchups, as i was afraid that we would break some things simply by using them. A Few examples:1. The outdoor shower pipe is loose, so you have to hold it while turning the water on, so you don't stress the pipe. 2. The bathroom doorknob is really loose and doesn't work from the inside without pulling hard while turning.3. The Foton had screws falling out which I tightened, luckily before it broke. None of these issues were a big deal to my family and I but wanted to list them to justify the 4/5 stars as opposed to 5/5. With that said, these issues will not deter my family and I and we will 100% be back!

We enjoyed our stay in Mission Beach. The house was the perfect location, and had everything we needed. The host was awesome, and the description was accurate.The house os old and charming but with that, felt dirty and needed a little more tlc if renting. I would have loved updated bedding, towels, and kitchen ware.charming

Not what I expected

Very outdated and unkept. No entrance through the front door. Ants were abundant in the living area. All of the fans were filthy and or rusty. Location was nice..but otherwise would not recommend

Wonderful Stay

The location was fantastic—couldn't have asked for a better spot for the price! The owner was incredibly responsive, even through VRBO messaging, which made the entire experience seamless. The cottage itself was a real gem. Growing up in Michigan, it reminded me of the older homes there, bringing back great memories. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home—it was absolutely perfect!

Me and 4 kids. Enough room and close to Belmont, has a washer and dryer so no trips to the laundromat, and 2 parking spaces. Whenever I had a question, Dave was quick to answer, great host.

Simply Amazing!

The location is unbelievable. A 3 min walk to the bay. A 1 min walk to the ocean. A 5 minute walk to Belmont Park. We rode bike everywhere and barely used our rental car. I cannot express how incredible this property is! The only knock is that there are signs of aging. Having said that, nothing was in such poor shape that we couldn’t enjoy ourselves. The kayak was so much fun for the family. Even our 5 yo gave it a try on Mission Bay! Fans are available in the house to help keep things cool. The outside shower was so helpful. Also, plenty of beach toys for the kiddo
 and OMG, the patio! I can’t forget how relaxing it was to hang out there in the morning and again at night. The futon was incredibly comfortable for the teenager. Communication with the owner was fantastic. He was super responsive and helped us along the way. Did I mention the location was unbelievable? You should stay here. There’s no doubt that if the opportunity presents itself again, we will be booking this property for even more spectacular memories. Thank you!!!

Beach Bliss

Location! Location! Location! You are a minute’s walk to the beach, and 3 minutes walk to anything you might need (food, ice cream, Starbucks). You’re also a 3 minute walk from Belmont Park which has an arcade and amusement park rides. My friend and I took our 14 year olds with us. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The home is an original build, so it’s got that feel, but still comfortable and functional. Tons of books in the house, plus games. There’s a TV though we never turned it on. The host also has boogie boards and beach chairs in the back, which we did enjoy! There’s a tight garage, but once we parked, we never moved until checkout, because everything we could want was in walking distance. I plan on coming back with my family!

Perfect Beach Getaway in Mission Beach!

I recently stayed at a Vrbo property in Mission Beach and had an amazing experience! The location was perfect, just steps away from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for daily beach outings. The property itself was cute and exactly as described in the listing. It had a charming and cozy atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We had a lot of fun exploring the area and taking advantage of the nearby attractions. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fantastic beach getaway!

Awesome location

This house is all about location! Steps to the beach and a short walk to Belmont park. The perfect place to stay with kids. Love that they had lots of boogie boards and beach chairs to use. My daughters had a blast. Also, it has a garage which is a bonus! My family loved staying here.

Cute cottage

So first I have to give a shout-out to David the property manager, he was GREAT! Location was close to Belmont so the kids had a blast and steps to the beach. Whenever I had a question for David, he responded quickly. Parking was great, I have a large SUV and there were two parking spaces for me. Washer and dryer on premises so no spending hours at a laundromat and wasting quarters. Love it and would recommend this place highly.

The location is excellent, the bungalow is not restored
 the heat and fireplace insert are not functional and or clean therefore the interior, including all the books, is moist and moldy. The ceiling has a lot of moisture damage. We do not have high expectations, this house did not meet ours
 we will be staying nearby in the future.

I first moved to San Diego to go to San Diego State University and landed in Mission Beach, thinking 'why would I ever want to leave here'. My wife and I lived in the house for many years and we will always keep it as it is instead of building condos on the property. We will return to the house at some point, but for now we enjoy having others enjoy the beach life.

One thing that attracted me to buy this house is its location so close to the beach and boardwalk. And it is a single family home with no attached homes, on its own lot. We also loved the historic value in an era when so many others are building new condos.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Having a single-family house on its own lot is a huge benefit. There are no common walls and you aren't sharing the yard with anyone. The proximity to the boardwalk and sand is a big plus, too, for a fraction of the price of the oceanfront properties which have very little privacy.
