Welcome to The Modern Cactus! This fun, family-friendly, stylish retreat is a true desert oasis! Located only minutes away from Westgate Entertainment District, the Arizona Cardinals’ home stadium, Spring Training fields, world class golf courses and endless outdoor adventures, you are central to all the Valley’s most popular destinations. Please come enjoy our beautiful NEW furnishings, a heated pool, luxury spa and a cozy outdoor living/dining space - This is desert living as its finest!Please Note: Pool heat is unavailable in December & January

The House Layout:
Bedroom 1: 1 King Size Bed, 1 Daybed & Smart TV (en-suite bathroom)
Bedroom 2: 1 Queen Size Bed + Smart TV
Bedroom 3: 1 Double Bed and 1 Twin

Pool & Spa:
Pool heat is included in your stay during the months of October, November, February, March and April. We keep the pool at a comfortable 82 degrees.
Due to the cold evenings in December and January, we DO NOT heat the pool in December and January. Most of our guests prefer the luxury bullfrog hot tub during these winter months.

For safety, all sliding glass doors automatically retract and have elevated safety latches. If you have children, please book with care as the property owners and co-hosts are not liable for pool or spa injuries.

The house was great. Perfect for a family getaway. The property manager was easy to get ahold of and helped out quickly with a couple of small things. The back yard was awesome to just hang out, relax and enjoy a beverage by the pool. Would recommend this place and the manager for sure!

Loved, loved this house. kitchen was stocked with everything you could need, the house was surprisingly bigger then it looked in the pictures. We loved the pool, hottub, and outside tv. Beds and blankets were perfect.The gift basket with little treats and a bottle of wine was a great surprise!

Perfect Stay - We will be back in 2025

We had a wonderful stay at A Modern Cactus in Peoria, AZ over the Christmas holiday! Communication with Shawna and Karen was A. The place was impeccably clean, classy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space, complete with a pool and spa, was absolutely beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfy, making for a restful and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and stylish getaway!

Great Girls Trip

This was a perfect spot for a ladies getaway! The house was perfect and the host was amazing with communicating. I even had a special request as we were celebrating a couple of birthdays and they accommodated beautifully. It was a nice, quiet location and we were able to do multiple day trips to different areas. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back! Thank you!

The Perfect Choice

My wife and I have stayed in other VRBO properties and this was the most enjoyable of them all. Shawna the co-host and Karen the owner were very responsive and a pleasure to interact with. Hi! We are Karen and Nick. Karen is born and raised in Phoenix and Nick moved here from Chicago. We have two kids ages 4 and 8 and we have lots of recommendations (plus toys, books and life vests) for young children in our home. We love swimming, hiking and attending family friendly events and festivals. Shawna, our co-host, also offers a lot of concierge services to provide the best getaway! This house is located in a family friendly neighborhood within walking distance of a local park. We like how quiet it is and we have amazing neighbors.

I grew up in this area and I love how many options there are to be active: Spring training, golf, hiking, water parks, splash pads, trampoline parks, festivals, ice skating, dining, shopping, etc.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

My favorite part of this house is the option for indoor and outdoor living. In the winter you can still swim and enjoy the hot tub and cool sunny days. In the summer the shade of the large patio allows you to relax outside and cool off in the pool.
