Experience the best of Florida: sugar white sand, dunes, emerald water, spectacular breath-taking sunsets! Our charming condo is located on the 2nd floor of the C Building in the resort and is only minutes away from the beach. The Village complex is nestled between Rosemary and Alys Beach in 30A. Perfect for couples and families, reunions, meetings, retreats, bike rides, golf getaways and destination weddings. Art heaven. There are many unique shops and local restaurants within walking distance.

Primary renter must be at least 18 years of age. Guests may be asked to present their IDs upon arrival or anytime during their stay. Do not rent this unit for another party. The primary renter must be staying in the unit.

Snuggled between Rosemary Beach and Aly's Beach, within steps of local eateries, as well as the pristine beaches of the Emerald Coast, this property is sure to provide you with that re-energizing vacation you've been waiting for!

Nestled between glamorous Alys Beach (a few blocks west) and The Village of Rosemary Beach (a block east), the Villages of South Walton at Seacrest Beach offer the very best of all. Walk to the quaint shops located nearby, the wine and craft bars that dot the area, or just head to the beach, and get your toes into the powdered-sugar white sands and azure colored water of the best beaches on the Emerald Coast!

30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful gulf coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald-blue waters indigenous to the area. Each village has its own unique characteristics that paint a fairy tale like scene against some of the country's most beautiful beaches. Come live the 30A life and experience the beach the way it was meant to be, where Southern Charm meets Bohemian lifestyle and unforgettable vacation memories are created.

The Village resort area with two pools, hot tub, fountain and grilling/dining sections located by Building H is for the exclusive use of guests and owners residing at The Village. Wristbands must be worn by guests over the age of 9 to gain access to this area.

The Villages of South Walton offers guests conveniently located community pools (one seasonally heated). The pool area opens at 9am and closes at 10pm; the occupancy for the hot tub is 11. As there are no lifeguards at the pool, children must be monitored by an adult. Children under the age of 5 must wear swim diapers when at the pool. Please do not make exceptions, as accidents introducing fecal matter into the pool require a special disinfection process, which will result in the pool shutting down for up to 24 hours.

Amenity Wristbands: In the condo's kitchen(ette), you will find "The Village" wristbands for your use. The following areas require wristbands be worn by all guests (10 years of age and older): the private beach access through Sunset Beach, The Village tram, and the new resort pool at The Village across from Building G. Prior to departure please return all wristbands to their proper place (guests will be charged a fee of $30 for each missing wristband).

Beach Tram Info: A complimentary beach tram is available to all guests of The Village of South Walton from March 1st– October 31st from 9am to 5:30pm CST (with no Tram service from noon-1; in addition, the Tram does not run in inclement weather). Guests must call to schedule Tram pickup, otherwise no tram service will be provided. Tram departs from The Village pool area near Building H. All guests 10 years of age and older must wear wristbands to access the Tram. No wagons, no glass, no canopies, or pets allowed on the Tram.

Beach Access Info: Private beach access for guests residing at The Village is through the Sunset Beach community. This private access point is monitored; guests older than the age of 9 will be required to wear a wristband to gain entry.

Walking Directions (5 to 10-minute walk): From Peddler's Pavilion (shopping area in front of The Village) turn right onto 30A. You'll pass High Pointe Resort House on your left. The beach access is shortly thereafter on the left (north) side of 30A (directly across from the Seacrest Beach entrance). You will see the prominent lifeguard chair, which is the entrance to Seacrest. At that chair, take a left and locate the guard house. Show your wristbands to the guard and you will be permitted to walk straight to the beach. If there is no guard upon your arrival, walk down the middle path, in between the gates, to gain access to the beach.

Wheeled coolers, wagons, golf carts, bikes, skateboards and roller blades are NOT allowed through this beach access. Some large items may be permitted; however, per noise restrictions, they must be hand-carried down the pedestrian pathway leading to the shore through Sunset Beach. Strollers are permitted through the beach access as long as they are used to transport children and not beach gear. Beach tents are not permitted on any private beach access along 30A.

Closest Public Beach Access: Should you desire public beach access where lifeguards are on duty (available during the high season only, from 9am - 5pm CST), head to the beach access point at Inlet Beach. Turn right at the light at the intersection of 30A and Highway 98. In just less than ½ a mile, turn right onto Orange Street (you will see the sign for "public beach access"). At the stop sign, the road will T; parking is available to the right or left. This beach access is fully equipped with restrooms and an outdoor shower area. Wheeled coolers, wagons and beach tents are permitted at the public beach access. Bike racks are available near the public beach access as well.

About the Vacation Rental Unit:

This 0-bedroom, 1-bathroom vacation rental features:
A plush king bed, and a flat panel television. The kitchenette is equipped with granite counter tops, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, microwave and bar refrigerator. The bathroom features a shower and well-lit vanity. Wireless high speed Internet service and cable television are included.

Parking:

In regards to parking at the Village of South Walton, there are no parking passes needed at this property. Guests may park anywhere in the parking lot that is nearby the building where your vacation rental is located. While there are over 200 public parking spaces, they are first-come, first-served.

The best way to reach the vacation rental from Destin and Panama City Beach is Via Hwy 98. From Hwy 98, take County Road 30A (RIGHT, if you're coming from Destin; LEFT, if you're coming from Panama City Beach). Travel on County Road 30A for just over a ½-mile. Look for shops on the right (Seacrest Sundries, Premier Property Group). Then turn right onto The Village Lane. This area is called "Peddler's Pavilion." Follow this road around till you see these shops: The Lens Bar, Pizza By The Sea, The Sweet Peddler. Turn right (when doing so, you should see La Cocina Mexican Grill and Bar on your left).

At the stop sign, Building D is on your right and Building C is on your left; turn left. Building C is the 1st building on the left. You can park anywhere in the parking lot.

Take the stairs or the elevator to the 2nd floor. When exiting the elevator, turn left, and enter the glass door leading to the building's interior corridors. Walk down the hall and take a left; unit B242 should be the first you encounter.

Other details to note:

The HVAC unit is controlled by a remote left in your room. To adjust temperature or fan speed you must point the remote at the HVAC unit.

Please note: while all unit numbers are preceded by the letter B, that has no bearing on what building your condo is in. Please look carefully both at the address we provide for your vacation rental (found above) as well as the parking information shared with you in the Welcome Packet.

A laundry facility is available for guest use and located on the 2nd floor corridor of your building. Washers and dryers are equipped with credit card readers (coins are no longer accepted).

Upon booking, you'll receive timely communications about your trip. Access to your professionally cleaned and sanitized home is also convenient with our custom keyless locks. And, if you need anything before, during or after your stay, our local team is ready to help!

Please be aware that there will be NO refunds for Wi-Fi issues as it's not guaranteed. If reliable Wi-Fi is a must, you are welcome to bring your own internet hotspot.

Non-negotiable rules: No Smoking or Vaping, No Pets, No Events or Parties, No Firearms. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am (unless posted signage indicates otherwise).

Great Location & Communication

Perfect spot that's an easy walk to the beach, the shops and dining in Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Communication was clear and concise, very friendly and perfect sized space for 1 or 2 adults. Next time in the area for business will definitely return.

We always strive to respond as quickly as possible, and while we regret the delay, we were able to deliver toilet paper shortly after being notified. Regarding the bathtub plug, had we known it was missing during your stay, we would have happily resolved that as well. As for the cancellation concern, we follow VRBO’s cancellation policies, which are clearly outlined at booking. We understand how frustrating last-minute illnesses can be and truly wish the circumstances had been different. We appreciate your input and will continue working to improve communication and responsiveness for future guests.

Nightmare

Dirty sheets, mattress pad stained with urine, dirty diaper found underneath the bed. Coffee pot in the cabinet with coffee grounds still in it “MOLDED “ The bathroom had an odor coming up though the sewer system!! Our contact person would not move us to another rental! This is not what we wanted for our vacation! This unit is not being serviced as needed.

Very Nice!

Everything was great except beach. We had to drive to another location to have room to place two chairs. Very little beach frontage for the number of homes in the area.
