This was a wonderful place to host our family thanksgiving! We had plenty of space for our grandson, daughter and son to stay with us. We made lots of great memories.

Thank you, we are gald you enjoyed your stay. We are used to the sulphur smell and although it is harmless it can be disturbing if your not use to that in your water. We will take that into consideration. Thanks again!

The pictures don’t really do justice to the peacefulness of the property. Check in and cleanliness couldn’t have been better. We wanted a relaxing vacation and the property exceeded expectations.

The party showed up 2.5 hours before check in while the cleaner was there. The gentleman understood she was not done cleaning and requested access with the understanding she was not done. We approved it when the cleaner reached out. We did not Know it would affect our rating or we would not have done it.

I booked this home for specific reasons and it did not disappoint!The pool table, hot tub, and remote area was exactly what I wanted for my husband and I to have quality time together. The location was also perfect for my daughter and granddaughters, as they came back and forth in between working. Everyone enjoyed the basement/entertainment space. We played several games with a lot of laughs and made great memories!The one (and only) drawback was the sulfur water. Although the odor was unpleasant, I think what this home had to offer our family was worth it. I think the sulfur odor is worth mentioning so people are aware, but it is definitely a great place to stay.

Presidents Week Break!!

Beautiful home, we were able to relax and enjoy some family time. Even though the weather was cold the house was warm and welcoming. We relaxed in the hot tub. Cooked in the kitchen and played some pool in the basement. Would love to visit in the summer to be able to enjoy the pool and enjoy the views.

I don’t think I could give this place enough stars. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views were incredible. It was so peaceful. My family had such a good time we hope to come back again next year!

As the title says...."Country Living at its Best"

A beautiful place to stay. The porches are very relaxing and quiet with plenty of space around the home inside and out to enjoy while you take in the finger lakes. Clean with plenty of kitchen and bath supplies if you forget something.

Beautiful location, easy check in, very responsive host. We would have loved a list that included the Wi-Fi password, details on how to lock the door, and what to do with our trash and how to leave the place when we checked out. Bedding was nice, towels were great, pool and hot tub were clean and wonderful to use. King bed upstairs could use a new mattress as it is a bit concave on each side. These are suggestions that would take this stay from excellent into superb! Thanks for a terrific vacation home for six women friends!

Nice cottage near Conesus Lake

Howard and Laura's cottage is everything as described. Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of amenities and very clean. I have only one complaint and that is the grill didn't work well and needed a major cleaning. But would highly recommend this cottage for families and couples wanting to explore Conesus Lake.

BUGS - FILTHY

When we arrived, there were bugs everywhere. Every room had live and dead bugs everywhere! I contacted the owner and he was slow to reply. I have pics of everything. Dead bugs on every floor and window. Live bugs on every window, walls and ceiling. He said he would resolve the next day based on our schedule, but everything was the same the next day and I let him know. We had to kill flies for hours and clean up bugs everywhere for 3 days. The owner did little to resolve and refused to refund us any of the overall payments. Do not waste your time here. The owner said our group was the problem when we cleaned his house better than he provided it. Many of our members left because of the situation at hand. Terrible stay!

Everyone in the area was having a hard time with Asian lady bugs and cluster flys. I was unaware that we had a problem until Randy and his guest arrived at our home. I received a call from Randy regarding the situation. I offerred Randy a full refund and recommendations of other places he could stay. He reported he could not stay anywhere else because they had 6 boat trailers. I told Randy I would have an extermintator come to house and we would come over and clean up the bugs each day before they got home from fishing. They never would communicate so we could coordinate cleaning. The exterminator reprted everyone in the area was having a problem with the weather heating back up. Randy and his guest choose to stay and sprayed bug spray all over the inside of the house and windows. We spent hours cleaning the spray off of all the windows. We have clearly stated there is no smoking on the property. There were cigarette ashes all over both porches and butts in bottles left behind. They put ruts in the yard with there vehicle trying to get there boat out of the yard. A week after there stay I received a text from Randy asking for a Refund. We refunded 200 dollars. Under the circumstances I feel we tried to accomodate Randy and his Guests. Hopefully peoeple will read the other reviews to get a better picture of what happened here.
