Fully updated inside and out in 2017, this 4BR house with 2 full baths + outdoor shower is a perfect getaway for 1 large family, 2 families with 2-4 kids each, or 4 couples. The house can sleep 8 adults comfortably, and up to 4-5 additional children. 20 foot hedges surrounding the property provide a very secluded feel, with a large deck, patio, grill, and good sized yard for lawn games. 1.5 miles to Surfside Beach and 1.6 miles to town, our house is in an ideal location for convenience to almost everything on the island. *Optional 2021 4 Door Jeep Wrangler Available to Rent to our Renters through Turo at a Discount*

Amazing location, outstanding outdoor space

Brian was communicative, helpful and a pleasure to work with. His home fit us all comfortably and the outdoor space really put it over the top for us. He had everything we needed, and much more! I would recommend this property!

Moms Wkend Getaway

A group of mostly moms in their thirties enjoying the island without kids! We loved WalshedAshore -- the house had everything we needed for an amazing stay, and Brian was a dream to work with! House is beautiful and backyard nice and sunny with a bonus outdoor shower! 10/10 would recommend!

Great house and host!

We stayed for 2 weeks and wished it was 4. The home is in a good location for access to beaches and town. There are several Wave stops close by. Brian is a great host and very quick to respond to questions and needs. The house was clean and the yard is great. We enjoyed sitting outside in the Adirondack chairs to regroup and play cards after the beach.

Nantucket home so close to town

We had a very nice stay and loved the location of the home and thought that the kitchen was unusually well equipped. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed having the grill to use. It was really nice arriving to spices and condiments that were there to use. Which does not always happen. Owner was 100% easy to reach before, and during our stay. The Welcome Book he provided was extremely helpful and informative.

Nantucket Stroll Weekend 2022

Myself and 6 friends enjoyed a wonderful stay at this beautiful home for our First Stroll weekend!! Home was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Brian (the Owner) was very responsive and super helpful with any questions or needs that came up. I would definitely recommend renting this home to anyone and can't wait to visit and stay here again!!

Outstanding!

This is just a fantastic house. Pristine condition inside, super clean and updated, and the outside deck and patio were perfect for a relaxing vacation. Also, very ideal location with easy access to buses, and we easily biked around into town or down to the beach. Highly recommend.

My wife and I first started coming to Nantucket the year we got engaged (2007) and immediately fell in love with the island. We have been coming back every year since, and started bringing our kids for weekly rentals in 2015. It has long been our dream to buy a house on the island and this past year we were able to achieve that dream. We are excited to share our home with you, and hope you love the island as much as we do! We live in MA and will be very accessible during your stay. We also have a full-time caretaker on the island who will be able to address any issues, large or small, as they arise (although we hope they don't!).

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This house was fully updated in 2017, and all linens updated in the Winter of 2021-2022. The bedrooms are all very accommodating, and not shown are the two additional bedrooms, which will be getting brand new sets (large King set from Ethan Allen in the Master) and 2 bunk sets (twin over twin and twin over full) in the 4th bedroom, to be finished by March 2022. The large deck/patio combo will make this house feel a lot bigger than it is. Enjoy your meals on the deck, and enjoy happy hour or sunset drinks on the large patio with brand new patio furniture. The side/front yards are plenty big for lawn games, and the large 25 foot hedges provide an extra layer or privacy to the property.
