Starfish Beach Penthouse, from Tortuga Properties is situated inside Palmas del Mar Beach Resort Complex in Humacao. This condo apartment provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balconies in the first floor as well as from the top floor, with access to a large terrace overlooking the community pool area.

Family vacation

We walked in & the girls (19 & 13) felt as if they had their own apartment. It was my niece's (13) first time traveling & she was giddy. The condo smelled amazing. Very clean & tidy. It had all of the amenities we needed. We didn't have a view of the ocean & the beaches in Palmas del Mar are not swimmable but we knew that. It's not a deal breaker since Seven Seas beach is less than an hour away. The pool was great though. What I liked most was the ease of check-in, which I received in an email in March when I booked the condo. I stayed at a different place last year & we did not receive anything until we arrived & were at the gate. Tortuga Proprties set the bar high with this small touch. The only thing I would suggest is some room darkening shades/drapes in the bedrooms & an extension cord(s) to charge the phones in the master room. Other than that, this place is definitely 5 stars & I would definitely come back.

An Oasis! Book now- you will not regret it

This property completely exceeded our expectations! Its not only breathtaking by design and location, but the quality of every single thoughtful accommodation made us feel like we were in a private paradise!! We cant wait to book again. Also the pillows and bedding were like sleeping on clouds. Amazing!!!

Wonderful Stay

We had an excellent stay. The condo was very spacious with lots of outdoor spaces/balconies and a beautiful pool area. The host included many extras that other rentals do not. The kitchen was fully equipped, cleaning supplies were readily available, and some products like paper towel, soap and laundry detergent were also available. In addition, beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and a small cooler were also available to use. The only negative was that we could not seem to find the "8 minute" walk to the beach. That said, it was more like a 20 minute walk or a short drive.

Better than Description

You get a lot of bang for your buck here. The rooftop deck is huge and gives you great views of the pool, El Yunque and tennis courts. The pool is never crowded which is so nice. The location within Palmas Del Mar is the best in our opinion. Rent a golf cart for easy beach access, but you can walk there as well. Go to Pura Vida and Norberto’s to eat, you won’t be disappointed! Tell them Sandra and Kaleigh sent you!! Beds are comfy, kitchen is perfect for making meals at home. TV is great, couch nice. Washer and dryer great. Lots of towels, toiletries and beach chairs too! There is a blow dryer there even though it’s not in description. Fantastic unit, we’ll be back!!

The property is lovely - close to the pool, 10 min walk to the beach, close to golf, places to eat. Some minor problems but the owner was very responsive. Beautiful property.

Amazing Stay in Humacao

We had such a great time at Carlos' property in Humacao. Palmas del Mar is a great location with many beaches, pools, shops and restaurants within the community, as well as lots of additional amenities within Humacao proper. The property that we had originally booked had a maintenance issue shortly before our stay, so Carlos moved us to another of his properties, in Mare Sereno, which was absolutely gorgeous. We were a short walk to the beach, and the kids enjoyed the pool. The bedrooms were all spacious and beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the week, and Carlos provided beach towels and chairs. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, and Carlos was so responsive anytime we reached out. We would absolutely stay in one of Carlos' properties again, and highly recommend his group to anyone.

Great Home Base!

The Villa was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy and explore the east coast of Puerto Rico! The kitchen had all we needed, the host was very responsive to our (many!) questions and the beds were super comfy. It was great to have the bbq on the porch and cook up meals to eat outside. We took advantage of the restaurants on the property a few nights and loved La Pescadaria. The beach was a short walk and we went for sunrise each morning but we preferred the pool (and the beaches near Luquillo!). Thank you Carlos and the team at Tortuga for your hospitality!

Great vacation

The villa was clean and in a great community! It was located in a safe and beautiful area. We were happy with the pool being close by and the beach was just a short few minute walk. The villa was cozy and we enjoyed the multiple balconies. Any questions or concerns that we had, were answered immediately. My family had a great stay!

This is a beautiful property with all the amenities that one would expect at home. The balconies were amazing and was an excellent spot for early morning tea with the peace and the birds chirping. Everything was perfect with the kitchen equipment and all the utensils. I The top floor was a beautiful en-suite for privacy and 2 balconies 😍 There was everything that you need to go to the beach including chairs and cool box. Would recommend and would definitely go back.

Exactly as shown in pictures, spotless, close to the beach and right besides the tennis club. Kitchen equipped with everything you need. Ample space for everyone. Host was accessible to answer all our questions on a timely manner. Definitely recommend!!
