Relaxing family vacation

We loved staying here. The balcony is nice and big. Everyone is super friendly at the condo and Alex is amazing and always checking in. We will be back!

Great Location

Stayed at Peninsula many times over the years and always love the quietness and location. The unit is awesome with a huge patio area. The inside is great with comfy furnishings. Alex the property manager is always great with quick responses. Would love to stay again.

Great Condo

The property was as advertised. Very nice with everything needed for a great stay. Alex along with the whole staff were friendly and very helpful. The deck was awesome!! Would definitely rebook again.

Great views, excellent amenities, wonderful vacation experience

This unit is clean, comfortable and well appointed! Love the modern and clean decor. The balconies and views at this unit are amazing! Staff is friendly and helpful. Property management checked in daily via email which was the perfect amount of touch points and communication for our group. We love staying at Peninsula Grand and will be back.

Loved this clean comfortable unit! 5 adults had plenty of space to spread out. The property, staff, pool, palapas, loungers, etc. were all perfect! Snorkeling right from the property was amazing with easy access into the water. All 3 bedrooms had ocean views and condo location is fantastic and quiet. My family will definitely rebook this unit!

Would come back in a heartbeat!

I celebrated my 50th Birthday here for 5 nights. The condo was perfect for 2 coules and a teenager (own room and private baths for each bedroom). The pool, beach and snorkleing were top notch. The Chef had great food and drinks available for purchase. The property manager had groceries (extra cost) waiting for us as requested. I would stay here again in my next trip to Cozomel!

Paradise

The condo was perfect for our family. It was spacious and modern. The pool was warm and clean and overlooked the ocean just like in the pictures! We truly enjoyed staying here for our dive vacation. Highly recommend. Thank you :) Also, Guerrimo was always helpful grabbing a taxi for us to the marina.

Wonderful place

This was our 2nd time staying in this condo & it didn't disappoint this time either! Staff was great. Housekeeping did forget to replenish towels & washcloths in bathrooms but we found the extra ones in the closet. The only issue we had was the smoking policy had changed but it wasn't a problem. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Best view & relaxation!

Beautiful location, Amazing snorkeling

Beautiful location. Friendly office staff. Team was super helpful. The snorkeling at the small reef in front of the condo was amazing. I'm not sure it's appropriate for young kids due to rocky conditions. The condo overall is amazing. Updates are needed regarding linens, bathroom rugs, there is not any eating utensils.

Great Condo--Exactly as advertised

Communication was great. We received a pre-arrival email with all the details. The A/C was cold and worked great. The Internet was fast and never went down. Only comment some guests may want to know, the beds are very firm. This could be an issue for some. We come to this condo building 5-6 times a year. We would stay in this unit again if it is available.

Beautiful property!

This condo did not disappoint! Perfect location and gorgeous view with a HUGE balcony. All linens were nice and clean and the condo was beautiful. We were offered cleaning services only 1 day while we were there. We're pretty clean people, so it was no biggie. You can snorkel right off the pier at the condo, but the current is quite strong there. The pool was very clean and the place was very quiet. We rented a Jeep for our entire stay, so we could come and go as we please. Always our preference to be driving around on our own. We would definitely stay here again.

A week of paradise

Awesome stay at this location. Everything was pretty perfect. Pool is warm and clean, ocean is crystal clear and inviting, but be careful there is a strong current. Our unit 1a was awesome, the massive balcony/lanai was terrific to take in The sunsets while having dinner, the sofas in the living room were lovely to relax on. A small fix to the master bath should be taken to ensure the shower works well, but nothing to complain about. Angel, on site chef is wonderful, it’s a must to have his tacos and have him cook a meal for you. Our rep Alex was awesome too, he booked us a great couple of excursions, especially our day on the Marley with Captain Pedro. If you can book it you should.

Island Paradise

Waking up to the view of endless ocean. We had a much needed rest in a beautiful property. The communication with the manager was seamless from booking to check-out. The condo is spotless clean and had everything we could need. They had amazing shampoo and soaps in all bathrooms. Many times when you rent a condo the owners do not go that extra step. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals in the condo. The property is wonderful. We relaxed in the pool and enjoyed snorkeling steps away from our condo. Do not hesitate to book this property.

Beautiful property and unit

The unit was as pictured except there was new patio furniture. Which was a nice surprise. It had everything we needed. And the management was very attentive to our needs. The only negative was that the king bed was very very firm. It took several nights to get used to. And the other two beds ( mattresses) were very comfortable, but we're only full size. The kitchen has everything you would need. Well appointed. Overall, We had a lovely stay. The new addition of the pier and steps leading into the sea, was also just what this property needed and was a great surprise! Getting in and out of the water was so much easier then our last stay at this property (different unit), a few years ago. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Functional for Adult Travelers

The rental is incredibly spacious, conveniently located, easily accessible to transportation and clean. However, I was supposed to stay with my family and I was glad my young daughter wasn’t with me because this really is a property designed for adults. The infinity pool is small and has a steep drop off and the ocean access is incredibly precarious. The beach is cement covered in sand. That being said if you are looking for something that is relatively kid free, this is ideal. It’s very quiet. The spaciousness of this rental cannot be emphasized enough. But I agree with other renters that it’s a little run down and could use a refresh of bed linens, pillows, air conditioners, internet access and curtains to give it a more luxe feel because the balconies are enormous and the view is spectacular. So a little more attention to the small details and this place would be perfect. For example I could only use wi-fi in the living/dining room and my calls would drop whenever I moved further away. The deck’s lounge chairs are non-functioning because the weather really gives them a beating, so I couldn’t use them. The shower heat and water pressure are disappointing. And the ants and cockroaches in the kitchen are not fun to deal with. The dishwasher was also broken so it ended up being more of a working vacation than I’d have preferred. All in all it was well suited to my basic needs. (Would have loved to have instructions on how to operate the convection stove!) Also when you get in a cab it’s called the “Grand Peninsula” and not “Peninsula Grand.” Also, MARKO labs provided me with excellent COVID testing without an appointment. Cozumel is a remarkable destination and you would really enjoy your stay here. The sunsets are stunning and I’ve never enjoyed my morning coffee as much I did on that huge balcony. I’m very grateful to have stayed here.

Misleading & Disappointing - Needs Abundant Maintenance

Upon arrival to the condo, you are immediately greeted by amazing people - the condo staff are all outstanding, especially Guillermo!! This is where the fun ends though. Bedrooms: ‱ Beds are all extremely uncomfortable ‱ Comforters are shredded & poor attempts have been made to sew them back together ‱ Sheets are stained and very thin/threadbare ‱ Window coverings in the bedrooms have huge holes in them ‱ Countertop in master bathroom is severely etched & stained General: ‱ No grill at the condo as shown in photos ‱ Zero water pressure for showers, dishes or handwashing (my parents were in another condo and we showered there) ‱ Almost no hot water and when it comes it is fleeting; water tank is very small ‱ There are no DVD players as listed in the amenities ‱ Beach towels are tattered & have holes in them ‱ Pool is missing tiles and has multiple large rust stains in it. Not much for filtration and it isn’t kept full enough for the infinity feature to work. When the aphid infestation occurred, the pool was constantly filled with bugs and rendered it unusable ‱ The aphid infestation was frustrating and could have been handled better/earlier. They were largely not in front on the street side, only on the ocean side with millions of them collecting on the deck, in hallways and around doors and were not routinely kept up with ‱ Two of the remotes for the A/C didn’t work; no offer to bring new batteries ‱ Noise from the unit above, trash chute, elevators & A/C motors in the stairwell grew to be ridiculous Kitchen: ‱ Dishwasher has an ‘out of service’ sign inside of it ‱ Wine fridge in the condo also doesn't work ‱ Zero instructions for running appliances and figuring out the induction range was frustrating; we didn’t even attempt to use the oven ‱ Condo has an odd variety of pots, pans, dinnerware and silverware in different states of needing replacement, but not much of anything else for kitchen use There is a review from December 2020 stating the beds, water pressure & dishwasher were all in need of upkeep/maintenance. We booked thinking surely in the time from December to September, those items would all be fixed or updated, and this was completely incorrect.

Friends weekend

The unit was very nice. The balcony was huge. The view was awesome. Alex was very helpful. The only down side is that since we stayed a short amount of time we were not able to get beach towels or use the exercise room. The condo has plenty of towels so we were ok but it was a strange policy for the management of the condos to have. We love Cozumel so we will definitely come back.

This was actually the nicest most well kept place we've stayed on Vacation!

The place exceeded all our expectations in and out ! Excellent snorkeling right off the Property. Alex and the entire staff were exceptional and very attentive. Would stay here indefinitely!!! Let me know if it is ever for sale !

Awesome Place

The cleanliness of the property was excellent! Everything we needed was provided, this helped us enjoy our stay that much more. We cooked and enjoyed the sounds of the water right from the dining table. The pool and ocean are just down stairs, we purchased snorkel gear and took a few steps into the water to enjoy the clear view of many fish. We will definitely return to this absolutely amazing place, it was PERFECT!
