Cool summer breezes at this classic Old Florida oasis in the heart of Central Beach. Private escape close to everything beachside Vero has to offer: five minute walk to the beach and four blocks to the Vero Beach Yacht Club & marina, dog park, Vero Beach Rowing Club and Riverside Theater, beachside cafes and restaurants.

Swim under the stars at night or lounge poolside during the day in the heated pool. Stunning travertine decking and lanai against a backdrop of majestic sea oaks on one of the quietest streets on the island.

Each bedroom is an ensuite, offering privacy for each guest. Access to mainland is Merrill Barber bridge or the 17th St. Bridge, another mile south.

Restored terrazzo floors, fireplace and original built-in details with room-length 14' glass sliding doors fully open to connect the living room with the outdoor lanai and pool area. Ultra-quiet Tropos fans throughout home.

Every bedroom is an ensuite, each with their own bathroom:
-a large king suite with two closets and built-in bureaus
-two queen beds, sitting area, and t.v. with separate entrance via laundry room.
-third with two oversized (long) twins and small walk in closet

High thread-count sheets and linens; large sectional sofa and club chairs; covered lanai seats eight. Gather in the open dining room to play cards or watch the stars from poolside at night. Pristine beaches a few blocks away, walking distance to Vero Beach Museum of Art, downtown Vero Beach and Yacht Club. Surf the Atlantic, kayak, SUP, and fish the Intercoastal way or just lounge by the pool. Five minute walk to the beach, fifteen minutes walk to downtown Vero's fabulous restaurants and boutiques. Bike rental nearby for enjoying the island on two wheels and touring the beautiful oak-canopied streets.

We had a great stay here for our girls' trip. There were 3 bathrooms so that was helpful. The house is old and needs some repairs, but it wasn't a big deal and we spent most of our time in the backyard which was lovely. Hosts were super responsive when we had a question. We booked the house again for next year.

Vero Beach

We found the perfect house for our stay! It had large bedrooms, a bathroom for each bedroom, and a large living room. The pool area was great. But the best part was the location! So close to the beach, in a beautiful neighborhood and close to shops.

The house was clean when we arrived although the air conditioning was not on. If you want to cook, forget it, the oven did not work, dorm sized refrigerator, cabinet doors and drawers were chipped,and stuck, scary. Grill ran out of propane. The pool was unusable due to constant falling tree debris. It looked abandoned. Filter was on for only 2 hours a day. House manager was out of the country and substitute manager was some help the first few days of rental.

We are proud that our property has solid 5***** reviews. Guests left without paying their $500.00 pool heating bill and made no mention of supposed "issues" during their stay. We stand by an excellent experience at our home and do everything to make that possible.

The house was as we expected and we enjoyed our six-week stay. It is an older mid-century home, but well-cared for. Many of the kitchen appliances are older, and the cabinets seem original, but everything worked well and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The hosts were extremely responsive and did everything possible to remedy any concerns that arose while we lived comfortably in their house for most of the winter months. We are seniors and only used the pool once, but it was warm throughout our stay and maintained by a regular pool service. The location is superb, with an easy walk to the beach, Jaycee Park, Riverside Park, the dog park, and a short drive to groceries, shopping, and restaurants while the neighborhood itself is very quiet and residential.

Vero Beach

What a great hidden treasure! Vero Beach is low key and uncommercialized. A perfect place for families. Our host was amazing and their home was perfect for grandma, her kids and their kids. The pool was amazing and it's a short walk to the beach or a very short drive to downtown Vero Beach. They have great restaurants and great playgrounds in town.

We love to travel and discovered that there aren't many places like Vero left in the world. We fell in love with this house--it's our dream house--and plan to move here full-time in few years when our only child graduates high school. Fun fact: we can walk to see the sunrise in the morning at the boardwalk four blocks away, and walk to see the sunset over the river in the evening--and then to town for dinner!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Quiet neighborhood and a walker's dream beneath the unique flora of Orchid Island and Vero Beach. Our home is south-facing, which means that we get lovely light even in the winter. The original Midcentury details and terrazzo floors are a unique treasure and call to mind the nostalgia of Old Florida.
