Ocean views in Del Mar

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This first floor condo has oceans view from the main living space and the master bedroom. Sea Forest is thoughtfully designed with a easy going boho theme, and bespoke furnishing. This home has everything you need to enjoy time with your family or get a little work done. You’ll have access to the pool, hot-tub, and tennis courts. In addition, this home is fully furnished with pots, pans, and dishes to feel fully at home. There are two smart tvs that will give you access to Spectrum TV, Disney+, ESPN, Hulu and Netflix. This home also has high speed networking for remote work. The 6 person dining space makes it easy to have family gatherings. There is also a table with bar stools for outdoor eating and a seating space on the patio. There is guest access to the pool, hot tub, sauna and tennis courts. There is an external bbq and eating area next to the pool. I am happy with whatever they prefer! Del Mar is a beach town in San Diego County, California, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Established in 1885 as a seaside resort, the city incorporated in 1959. The Del Mar Horse Races are hosted on the Del Mar racetrack every summer. About a block away are the bluffs. Downtown shopping, including eating and coffee, and the beach is less than a mile away. I do recommend a car for the area. Though not required, you will need to do a significant bit of walking for groceries.

This is a beautiful condo, well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed eating our meals and relaxing on the patio. I couldn’t imagine a better, more gracious hostess. She always responded within minutes and so positively. It was a terrific stay in Del Mar!

Excellent Stay in Del Mar

We loved our extended stay here. The hosts, Joelle and Sandra, were lovely to work with and very responsive. We appreciated the proximity to the beach and that the unit had everything we needed during the stay!

Wonderful place to call home for a bit! Communication was top notch and I can’t rave enough about that.The interior lends is a comfy beach vibe making this vacation rental feel less like an apartment and more resort-like. The community is extremely well maintained and populated by very welcoming neighbors. The location has a pool view in front of a lovely ocean expanse view through the trees. The owners did a great job of labeling the how tos of the electronics and location of key utensils and supplies. All rooms contained small extras that extended additional thoughtfulness. You can tell these owners care about their tenants! The site offers tennis courts which was not listed on the listing but a very nice surprise as an active tennis player. All in all I really loved my extended stay and hope you will too!

Del Mar Condo

Condo is very comfortable and well-equipped. It's a great location: about a mile to either Torrrey Pines State Beach or Seagrove Park / central Del Mar. Joelle was a super host and very responsive.

Beautiful View and Perfect location

This property is a gem in Del Mar. Walking distance to downtown and Torrey Pines state park and beaches about half mile away. The interior design is very beautiful and soft and we found the lighting very nice. From the balcony we could see beautiful sunsets this time of the year. Hope to return here again and enjoy the relaxing environment, pool and other amenities here. We had our grand-kids and family visit during our stay and plenty of space for extra overnights and the kids enjoyed staying.

Summer Break in Del Mar

This condo was absolutely amazing. It was super clean and exactly as pictured. We chose this listing based on proximity to our friends who live in Del Mar and the location could not have been more perfect for us! We had quick responses from Joelle if we had a question or needed any information. The condo also had tons of small extras, from coffee pods to beach gear to shower gel/shampoo/conditioner to AppleTV, to ensure you felt right at home! We definitely recommend this property and would stay again.

Beautiful and Peaceful

Enjoy each part of our stay. The house was near the ocean and was able to walk a few minutes just to the bluffs and enjoy the ocean. Each morning I was able to enjoy coffee and listen to the ocean and the balcony. Highly recommend this place asked! Everything you could ask for any vacation. It felt like a second home and look forward to coming back. Inside there was so much to tell him to put into the decor as well which contributed to the peaceful environment. Most of all the entire property has an incredible floral scent, lots of jasmine.

Great Del Mar Property

In Del Mar all of August. Never got above 76° because we were so close to the ocean. Condo is 5 or 6 minute walk to the shore. From there about 10 minutes south to Torrey Pines state beach, or 15 minutes north to Del Mar beach. Condo has a view of the water from the patio. There’s a good size swimming pool, and a fitness room. Joelle, our hostess, was outstanding and responsive, but we didn’t need her much because the condo had everything we needed. Nevertheless, she checked on us regularly. Comfortably fit for 4 people with two bedrooms and two full-size baths. If you want time away from the heat in summer, or the cold in winter, this is your place!

Fabulous Beach Condo!!

We had an amazing 3 week stay at Joelle's condo in Del Mar!! Joelle was an excellent host (very attentive, accommodating, and communicative) and the condo was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The complex itself was lovely with beautiful landscaping, a heated pool, spa, tennis courts etc...and having two parking spots was very convenient. The location was fantastic with it being only a short walk to the bluffs (overlooking the ocean) and then a little hike down to the beach for the more adventuresome. (For easier access to the beach, it was a short drive away or a 20 minute walk.). There is a local commuter train that runs just below the bluffs, but it's so quiet that you can hardly hear it, and it's easy to cross the tracks. (Everyone does it.) We walked the bluffs and/or the beach every day, and even enjoyed a few evening strolls up the beach to enjoy some of the local restaurants. (Make sure to make a reservation!) The actual location of the condo made for some spectacular sunset views. You could simply look out the window or sit on the balcony to see the ocean and hear the crashing waves in the distance. The condo was fully stocked with everything we needed, and Joelle even treated us to Nespresso coffee pods to get us started, and a few bottles of Californian wine. My husband was able to work remotely with her high speed internet and she had a great set up in the master bedroom with an adjustable work desk. We easily accommodated 4 adults with room to spare, and would love to return in the future! Thank you for sharing your lovely beach condo with us!!

Fabulous Home by the Beach in Del Mar, CA

Beautiful, quaint, clean, spacious, and comfy. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo by the sea. The layout is airy and open. Absolutely refreshing as the living area (and master BR) walk out to a balcony that overlooks beautifully maintained grounds and the sea. The smell from the landscaping is intoxicating! If you like the smell of jasmine you will be in heaven. The bedrooms are large and with lots of storage space. There are 2 full baths (very convenient!). The living room and master bedroom have TV's where you can log into your favorite streaming service. There is also a fireplace in the living room (we did not use it). There is an olympic size swimming pool along with jacuzzi and sauna for use. You can also walk to the beach or bluffs within minutes. The condo comes with everything you need while on vacation. A fully equipped kitchen, in unit laundry, yoga mats and light weights (if you want to work out), coffee machine, and so much more. There are plenty of nice restaurants along the water within minutes of the home. We also appreciated the onsite private parking. We really enjoyed this place and look forward to a return visit! Thanks to our host Joelle who was a great communicator and made sure that we had a fabulous experience!
