Come join us in our Happy Place. This home is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy your family. Your view on the back deck looks over the creek and wonderful for bird watching and just some peace and quiet. The master bedroom is downstairs with a queen size bed. Upstairs are two other bedrooms. One for the kids with a queen on the bottom and single on top with a trundle bed to pull out if needed. The other with a queen also. The living room and kitchen are open concept with a beautiful view of the landscape through the glass back doors. You are only 1/2 mile from the ocean and two blocks from the sound. Enjoy the use of the 4 seater golf cart to ride to both. Come enjoy our beautiful Crystal Coast!

We stay in a lot of rentals. This house has everything needed and more in the kitchen. The home was clean. The bird viewing in the back was fun. The neighborhood is quiet and deer grazed in the mornings. The couches and beds were comfortable.

Amazing!!

Great home base for beach vacation. Has all the amenities needed, and the deck view is amazing with a coffee or drink. Hosts (and neighbors) we responsive and friendly. Definitely recommend it!!

Sound stay

Happy Place was everything we expected. The decor was great and beds were very comfortable! Golf cart inclusion was also a bonus. I highly recommend this property.

BIRTHDAY Weekend

Nice place to stay. I was a bit irritated that there was no toilet paper orher than what was on the roll when we arrived. Never stayed in a VRBO where there was no shampoo/conditioner/body soap. And, the cleaning fee seems a bit high considering you have to take all the laundry downstairs to the washer & dryer.Having the golf cart was great!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi! The stay was nice. We enjoyed the house. We had some run-ins with insects. There were two dead roaches in the bedrooms and we bought some ant traps when they swarmed some of our stuff. I was unsure if some of the boards on the stairs were starting to rot. We could have used one or two more baking trays, but other than that, it met all of our needs and would consider returning. I did send an email to confirm the total price and never heard back, so I don’t know how responsive the management company is if we’d had problems.

Our Happy Place, too.

A lovely, cozy house in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to the beach to hear the surf but far enough away for peace and tranquility. The deck overlooking the marsh is a perfect spot for coffee, drinks or dinner. The house is well-equipped with a grill and a nice, open kitchen with all the tools you'll need, even for baking. Everything is nicely updated. Beautiful bathrooms. AC is a plus. Use of the golf cart is an exceptional benefit to get to nearby shopping/restaurants and (most importantly) beach access by way of cart-only parking. We loved it and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

Lovely creekside house

This was exactly what we needed for our family or 4+ pooch. We would have been able to sleep 6 comfortably, but only 4 of us were able to make this Thanksgiving trip to visit family the live in the island. The house was comfortable +nice beds!), modernized and well equipped. We enjoyed going electric with the golf cart to get around, the home's proximity to the bike path and to the beach, and the home's location in such a nice quiet neighborhood. We didn't cook very much but could have easily made nice dinners with the well stocked kitchen, lovely dining table and seating inside and out. Thanks again! You really have made this "a happy place."

Great Stay

We enjoyed our time at Happy Place. The property was clean and as expected. It had everything we needed. We did not really cook much at the property so I cannot speak to cooking equipment provided. Location to the beach is convenient. Just a quick golf cart ride away. The golf cart parking can fill up. There’s more parking down the way. It can be convenient to park at the one a little further down and use that public beach access especially if you think you are going to need to leave. It doesn’t get as busy. At least that was the case when we were there While the property did provide chairs, sand toys, cooler, etc the umbrella provided was not sufficient shade for us. We purchased a Shibumi at a local shop and it was well worth the money! Consider bringing something for additional shade if that’s important to you! One thing I don’t remember being mentioned in the listing is the outdoor shower. So helpful for getting sand off before going inside. Overall the property was great and our vacation in Emerald Isle was awesome!

Decent location, well stocked

We booked this rental specifically for the golf cart. Upon our arrival, there was no golf cart. Reached out to the property manager and were told it was messed up and being repaired. They did give us a credit to get one which was nice, however we couldn’t do that until the next day so we lost out on the entire first evening with a golf cart. We feel this situation should’ve been handled before 4 pm check in, not after we had to message them and fix it. The rentals golf cart had an age restriction of 18 which was perfect. The golf cart company has a restriction of 21, which in turn resulted to 6 people in our group not being able to drive it. Again, our main reason for getting this rental. WiFi was terrible. Went out on our second day and never came back on. Neither tv Roku would work as a result. Downstairs bathroom shower washcloth holder has mold all over it. Rental was decent for our group, Easy to get to the beach and has tons of beach toys, chairs, etc. but wouldn’t pick it again due to these issues.

So very sorry for the inconvenience of the golf cart. It actually broke down on the rental before you came, so we had no time to prepare for your arrival in replacing the golf cart. We would not have been able to rent one for you to use. You would have to be the one renting it. As you said, we did compensate for the rental of another golf cart. As far as the age and number of people you mentioned, you only stated there was 5 adults staying and according to our restrictions, there had to be at least one over 25 years old. Only 4 could ride on the golf cart at one time anyway. Very sorry about the WIFI, but I was never notified that it had gone down. The next renter came in and plugged it back in and it was working fine. I would have been happy to come fix it as soon as you notified me. We did get with our cleaners and have made improvements on inspecting the property more frequently. Thank you for letting me know. I do hope overall you had a great time.

Comfortable Home

There were some minor takebacks... the house had some areas that were not cleaned, but the property manager was most responsive and had cleaners out within ten minutes! My daughter looked forward to the swing and hammock that were pictured online but they are no longer present. There is a bench swing which was gorgeous though! The fencing leading up the driveway was no longer present either. The yard was very beautiful, but expecting a look from the road posed added difficulty to find the property when we arrived in the dark. The house is in a neighborhood we love, and has wonderful landscape views. It was well stocked with general home care essentials as well as TONS of children's toys and beach gear. It was clean and very home-y. Overall- a very beautiful, comfortable, and family-friendly home. We will definitely be back.

Emerald Isle Happy place

We loved the house and location. Only concerns were condition of garage fridge, food products left in house fridge (ketchup, etc.), slow internet, some cosmetic issues like crack in kitchen sink. Also the Roku remote in bedroom didn’t work (batteries?). Despite these minor items - we would come back. Liked the marsh and proximity - great with our e-bikes.

Wait until demolition & construction are finished

The management was very responsive. Location is amazing; bird-watching was fun! We were given a discount due to all of the issues; it doesn't currently look or function like the posted pictures outside. I would suggest confirming that all demolition, repairs, and construction are complete before booking.
