A small updated, well-equipped kitchen overlooks the beautiful lake. Eat while enjoying the breeze through open windows, or relax on the cottage deck while enjoying nature's beauty. Great Cabin on the Lake

The cabin was a great place for three ladies exploring northern Michigan. The dock provided a great place to relax and watch the sunset. The showers were hot and the little kitchen had all we needed to cook up a meal or two. The shaded area kept the heat bearable for good sleeping and the neighbors were friendly and made it feel remote but safe.

Wonderful hideaway

This was a great stay. We had all we needed. There is no air conditioning but the weather was so beautiful we did not miss it. The neighbors were so nice. The only thing that should be told is that there is not privacy in the cabin the walls do not go to the ceiling but we still had the best time

Great Spot on Lake Paradise

I had another great visit to this little yellow cottage in the old Wiggins Camp on Lake Paradise. As always the place was clean, well-maintained, and a lovely place to stay. The property owners I met again and anew were all friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to going back, this time with a friend, in August 2023.

Yellow Gem Among the Birches

We enjoyed the location: close to a great golf course, Mackinaw City via back roads, hop, skip, and a jump to beautiful Lake MI! The cottage is cozy and cute; only drawback is the footed tub shower…no grab bars for older folks. The lake is gorgeous, fishing is fun off the dock, plus kayaks and a paddle boat are available. Serene and peaceful!

Relaxing

The cottage is very charming, and a great location. The lake is beautiful and very peaceful. Met some of the neighbors and they were really nice and friendly. Used the kayaks and paddle boat. Did some swimming and fishing. We weren’t inside the cabin much, we had a great time on the lake. We would definitely go back.

Very relaxing and quiet

Cabin was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Walked the Mighty Mac which was an amazing experience. Loved the way the cabin was decorated. The only suggestion we would have is putting some slip resistant Tape in the claw foot tub. Very slippery and there is nothing to hang onto to assist you

My mom and I spent 3 days in this adorable little cabin. We basically only ate 2 meals in the cabin and only cooked 1 of them. But everything you need is provided. The cabin is set up to be as comfortable and homey as you need for a home away from home. Its clean and they are easy to reach and communicate with. Loved how quiet the area is around the cabin as well. I will never have the opportunity to visit the area again but if we did would absolutely stay here!

Nice Fall Getaway

Very enjoyable stay at this cottage on Paradise Lake. We had a couple of challenges— weather was very cool upon our arrival, and the only heat source in the cottage was a wood stove. There were no directions for how to operate the damper, no kindling/fire starter supplies and no info on where to replenish the wood supply. We emailed the property mgr., James, and he responded very quickly with a phone call to walk us through operating the wood stove . There was a radiant heater for the bedroom but it was not working, so the first night there we were very cold. James brought over a new space heater the next day, kindling for the stove, and had a load of wood delivered for our stay. The next day, the water pump malfunctioned and we had NO water ...again, a call to James, and he had a plumber there and water back on within a few hours. (Luckily we had plans to be out sightseeing anyway!). Other than these issues, it was a very pleasant stay. Cottage was cozy (once we had heat!) , very clean, well stocked, and the fall foliage and beautiful view of the lake made it a very pleasant getaway. Thank you, James, for your quick responses to our phone calls and making sure we were all set.

Picturesque and peaceful place

This comfortable cabin is located in a picturesque wooded setting overlooking Paradise Lake. It’s a great place to relax and to enjoy the surroundings, including Wilderness State Park, Headlands Dark Sky Park and Mackinaw City.

Perfect location

My bf was doing the Mackinac Bridge run, so we made a long weekend out of it. Perfect peaceful spot, but close to Mac city. Also found a few cool breweries and local spots to explore. Owner responsive, and whole process was smooth

Adorable vintage cottage

Adorable vintage cottage fully stocked with everything you could possibly need from Sharpknives, coffee and filters, dish soap, matches, charcoal grill, fire pit, wood etc. Beautiful sandy lake. Close to Mackinac city. Hostess was excellent.

Nice Cabin and Location

Whether you’re looking for a lakeside cabin or easy access to Mackinac, this is a great spot for a getaway. Dock space available if you want to bring your own boat for some lake cruising. We used the paddle boat for a short venture and perfect sunset. Nice responsive management.

Perfect location

This cottage was perfectly located! The lake was beautiful, warm, and peaceful! We had a great time kayaking and paddle boating. Also, we were able to go hiking at Wilderness State park, and went to Mackinac City and the island as well. However, if you are 6ft tall or over, the shower may challenge your flexibility!! A bit tight and the shower head is low!! But, overall, a great experience!!

Enjoyed the lakefront, very relaxing. Grandson enjoyed catching fish. Location was close but not to close to Mackinac City. Had everything we needed. I would definitely consider staying again.

Sweet home base for exploring

I attended a wedding at the dark sky park and stayed at this lake house. It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do and see. I loved the Lake. The cabin was perfect. Thank you a wonderful vacation

Perfect little place

We did not take advantage of all the perks this place has to offer. Firepits, nice little kitchen, kayaks, etc. No wifi but that adds to the vacation charm. Wife and I really enjoyed our time at this place.

Had a wonderful week!

The cabin was very cozy and attractively decorated, it really felt like being "home", not just a minimalist space. I loved having good and matched dishes to work with! There were all the amenities and more that we needed. The window shelf/table with chairs allowed a lovely view of the lake. Despite having no central heating, the heater provided more than enough warmth for the entire space very well, we did not use the stove. We'd stay again. And our agent, James, was prompt in answering emails, and attentive - he even returned a mug we left there! Great service.
