The house features a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor grill, two bedrooms with queen beds, two bathrooms, and a laundry room. Extra guests could use 2 built-in bunk beds, love seat, and a couch in the living room area and sunroom. Three kayaks are available for use.

We had a wonderful experience at this house. It is very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen with just about anything you need. The wood burning stove on the porch heats the porch up really nice on a cold night. The area is remote and very quiet. Minimal light pollution; we were hoping to see a lot of stars but unfortunately it was overcast every night. The beds are comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. The showers are nice with plenty of hot water and water pressure. We highly recommend this house and would definitely stay at here again.

Very beautiful area, close to dark sky. Had all needed amenities. Close to Wilderness State Park, Mackinaw, etc. the only concern, some window screens were missing or had holes. They may have been stored away for the end of season.

The house is in a beautiful and quiet location with stunning views of the lake. Everything was clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My family (6 adults ages 25) chose to stay here for a 5 day vacation. We had an absolute blast and LOVED the porch looking out over the lake. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and cooking supplies, and the owners did a great job stocking the house with all basic necessities. It was a beautiful property and we enjoyed the privacy and location.

We absolutely loved staying at this place! The host was so helpful before our trip. He always answered questions within a timely manor. It made packing for the trip much easier. Check in was easy and we quickly fell in love with the place. The location is so peaceful while still being close to plenty of activities and adventures. We even spent a day up in the UP. My families favorite place was the sun porch. We played lots of cards out there. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved going out and splashing around in the water and taking the kayaks out. There were some really nice swimming beaches not far from the house in either direction. The trading post up the road is so convenient and had firewood, ice cream, and smoked fish. The home was so clean. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

Lovely beach home

The home was very clean and comfortable. The sunrises were amazing.It’s unfortunate that the beach is mucky, we would have enjoyed it more if we could have gone into the water. We did find a beach a couple of blocks away that we did enjoy.The home is well stocked with everything we needed.The bugs are pretty intense at times, bring your bug spray!

The porch with the view of the lake was pure Michigan

We took a short family trip and spent all of our time at the cabin on the porch or asleep. The view was amazing for both sunrise and sunset. We saw sailboats, heron, an a bald eagle that landed a fish. We took the kayaks out on the lake. We played Euchre and relaxed as we took in the lake and all the colors of the sky. We even looked up to see the Milky Way and stars at night. The only downsides were the muck on the lakeshore and the mosquitoes...but those are all part of nature and the porch keep them at bay. The inside was clean and comfortable too!

Loved this property. Very clean, it had everything we needed, only thing we would recommend is a CO detector in the home. Even though the add says no CO detector. Thank you for sharing you beautiful place with us!!

Road trip to Mackinac Island

We initially booked the trip & then was notified that our reservation had been cancelled due to the property being sold. Fortunately, the new owners honored our booking & even honored the previous pricing, without hesitation. The property was great. Somewhat secluded. Right on the shores of the lake. The house was very clean & had everything we needed, and more. The owners were pro-active in providing info for everything we needed. I just wish we would have scheduled more time, so we could have spent time at the property. We were always on the move during our stay. If we go back, we will stay here!!
