This wonderful one bedroom stay is just a few short blocks from the beaches & downtown Pacific Beach, which is one of San Diego's #1 hotspots & vacation destinations. The surrounding area offers great bars & restaurants for nights on the town, incredible food & access to beaches. Come stay with us to enjoy the best of what San Diego has to offer!

We give our guests the space they need to enjoy this wonderful property! We are just a few minutes away if anything is needed.

This property is located a few blocks from the beach and downtown area of Pacific Beach. It is a quieter neighborhood with many residents having lived there for a number of years.

You will have access to the whole apartment!

Most of Pacific Beach is walkable from this location. Street parking is typically pretty open!

*We have a Ring security camera on the front porch. It will be on during your stay.

From the moment I arrived my stay at this place was terrible. What was even worse was the customer service from VRBO!! 1. The morning of my arrival VRBO messaged me and asked me what time I would be arriving. I said between 4:00 and 430. I arrived to the place at 5 PM and the cleaning lady was still there! She said I could not come in and that she needed another hour and “didn’t I get the message an hour ago from the owner”? I said “No I was on an airplane”. I asked her if I could come in and change and after some going back-and-forth, she finally agreed. Upon changing into my New Year’s Eve outfit for the night in the bedroom, I looked up and saw that the previous guest had spilled red wine all over the bedspread and that the room was quite dirty. I let it go thinking oh she would clean it and have it ready for me by the time I got back at the end of the night. Then I heard my cousin scream from the kitchen. She said oh my God there’s a dildo on the counter! What?? I was completely grossed out. Again, it was New Year’s Eve so I left as I had plans to attend.2. I woke up the next morning and had a terrible nights sleep as the bedsheets were dirty and there was SAND in the bed. I felt the sand all night. There was also NO BLANKET. The cleaning lady must’ve taken it?? So I slept in a dirty bed with no blanket. Awesome.Long story short I have yet to be refunded and I left the place the next day.
Stairway to front door was held together by duct tape! Tiles also broken.
The TV did not turn on.
Shower had very poor water, pressure and temperature fluctuated from hot to cold

Landlord special. Nothing was correctly maintained. Fridge not hooked up to water. Tile on exterior Stairs falling apart and taped back on. Stucco falling of exterior. Janky window ac so you can’t close the windows. Cheap towels, cheap shampoo and soap. Broken shower cartridge that owners send you info on how to work around rather than fixing. Fine for a few nights.

There were too many things wrong with this property. I felt that there has been a real lack of property up keep which really shows on this property. If any one wants to contact me about this feel free to reach out. Probably wont rent this property again. we did like the location though.

Great location for Pacific Beach vacation!

The walk to the beach everyday was awesome! We didn't have to worry about driving or parking, it was all in a walkable distance. There are plenty of choices for eating, relaxing, and entertainment. Of all the places we ate, our favorite was the Duck Dive. They had the best Black & Bleu Steak Salad and Steak and Lobster Tail!! I highly recommend eating here.

Nice place close to the beach

The property is a duplex that is shared by a permanent tenant. It is well appointed and fits two people adequately. Only complaints are the walls are a bit thin, the back door had the window slider backwards (so someone could open it from the outside) and the Keurig coffee pot was broken. The host was quick to communicate and apologized for the issues. I had no issues finding street parking. There is a separate outdoor seating area that you can use that is not pictured in the photos.

Close enough to beach where walking isn't a problem and parking still not too bad .Nice place comfortable and clean and good supply of coffee.

Beach Side

Pacific Beach Getaway was a cute one-bedroom duplex on a residential street about 1/2 miles from the beach. The owners were responsive however the duplex needs a great deal of repair. There was a window fan that was very loud and not terribly effective, the toilet is very low, the hot water in the shower is hard to regulate, the bathroom sink is small and doesn't allow for items to be placed there, the mattress on the bed slides into the middle. These are items that need attention.

The bed was so soft that we both couldnt sleep and the wife moved to the couch. The portable A/C was noisy and ran all night. We paid for 2 nights and left after the first night and stayed at a nice hotel.

PB Stay

Great Location, Very Cute Bungalow

This bungalow (1/2 single story duplex) was the perfect place to stay as a single traveler. It was on a lovely street, very near the beach, and close to many restaurants, bars, and retail establishments. It was very quiet at night. Free on Street parking, perfectly sizes living room, eat in kitchen, nice bedroom with tv, and small bathroom with a very large shower. Very clean. Terrific communication with host family. Loved my stay.

Small but very nice

Everything went well. Did not use the kitchen so I cannot comment on it. Shower was fine, only one episode of decreased water pressure but only lasted for a brief moment. The only thing I have to negatively comment about was the property was initially really warm but I was easily able to cool it down with the fans provided and opening the windows. Thanks for an easy stay.

Clean and cozy

Quick bike ride to beach. Very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It was very hot when we are there and the portable air conditioner didn't work during the day but cooled it off overnight. Owners were quick to answer my questions.
