This is a perfect spot for one or two people! The very clean unit has everything needed for a comfortable stay. John, the host, is very helpful and quickly responds to messages. He made sure I was comfortable and settled in. The location is ideal for beach lovers! I will be returning!

John provided exceptional support throughout our stay, consistently checking in to ensure everything was satisfactory. The property was ideally located near Mission Bay Beach and Belmont Park, with convenient access to public transportation just a short walk away. Overall, the accommodation was well-maintained and very pleasant.

It was AMAZING!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the shared patio space RIGHT on the beach walkway where all day long people are cycling, skating, jogging and strolling. Not to mention the ocean directly behind it!!! Wowza!

The property is clean and well equipped with modern furnishings. It's location is amazing. It is VERY small. Climbing is required to get into the shower (literally), and is quite scary when wet. The Murphy bed is very low to the ground when deployed and you can only enter the bed from the end.

Extremely Frustrating

We realized the first night of a four night/ five day stay that there was no hot water! We notified our host the first night at which time we were told that maintenance would be notified. It is not acceptable to be without a shower when staying at the beach for that amount of time! I personally ended up boiling water for my shower! We continued to contact our host with no resolve. After 4 days of being home there has been no attempt to rectify the situation or compensate for the lack of hot water.

Again!

The location of the property is just perfect! The property itself is a little small (our apartment was unit No. 8), but we also didn‘t expect it to be bigger. The apartment was very clean. We had a little bit of a problem checking in since we used the wrong keypad at our unit, there were two keypads (one right next to the door and one on the door which blended in with the door), it was dark once we arrived and we didn‘t see that right away - our fault, but it would have been helpful to know in advance. The aparment provides literally anything you can think of - fully equipped kitchen with air fryer, crockpot and so on. They also provide everything you need for the beach - you don‘t need to bring anything! You will find beach towels, chairs, an umbrella, games,
 they even have scooters for people to use - just great! Parking on the streets is free, but for me as an non-american I still don‘t get it how it works, I couldn’t figure out if there were parking spots you were able to use for free 24/7 - we ended up parking at Belmont parking lot during the day and on the streets of Mission Blvd at nights, needed to change parking spots twice a day, once latest 8am from Mission Blvd, latest 12am from Belmont park. It was only a 5 - 10 min walk everytime. Maybe there would have been an easier solution, nevertheless that was free of charge. We would definitely come back, it was great!

Awesome

Loved it. Have no complaints. The only thing I might improve is the AC. It works, but it’s a portable one, not central AC. So it takes quite awhile to cool the room down. Other than that, it’s a fantastic spot. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

They thought of everything!

This property is a winner in my book! The location is amazing so much so I don't even want to put this review out of my own selfishness. You can see a a sliver of beach out the window but you are only a few steps away from sand. You do have a second story so you so have about 17 steps to get in. When I say they have thought of everything you might need I mean everthing! Only 2 cons I found 1 the bathtub might be difficult for some ( we didn't have a problem) you gotta use a step stool to get in and out! 2 parking.. On the last day we were confronted by a housekeeper who threatened to tow us and screamed at us with deragotory remarks! No fault of this properties but just a warning don't park in the 2 available parking spots they seem to really enjoy threatening people with the power of a tow! Other than that our stay was fantastic! And by the way I talked to john to let him know of the threats and he was very concerned by this womens actions and said he will take care of it quickly! Oh and the hot water is abit confusing but just put the knob facing the cold and you will have hot water! Oh and they labeled everthing which was such a thoughtful gesture! We absolutely loved our stay!

Location good, but LOTS of maintenance needed

TL;DR: fairly good location, managing company was a responsive host, but I was there for 3 days & there was no hot water. 1. Pictures are misleading, check the fine print - this location isn't ACTUALLY beachfront, but does have a little sliver of a view of the beach so you can check weather and crowding levels. 2. Check-in isn't until 5pm, which was new to me. Other places I've stayed through VRBO & the other major site have earlier check-ins, on average 3pm. 3. They did allow me a late checkout - not sure if that's their policy or if it was a consolation prize for no hot water, but either way I appreciated it. 4. I was here for about 3 days. I'm so lucky that I had no events to go to because the hot water did not work throughout my entire stay. Attempted to wash my hair in the sink, at least, & it was also super cold. 5. It's a studio, & half the overhead lights in the main living area were burnt out. 6. Alerted the host when I got there that the lights and jetted bathtub weren't working. The next day was when I realized there was no hot water for the shower. They sent a maintenance crew over (I was at dinner but said they could go in). When I got back I tried to shower: after a couple of mins, the water got hot for about 5-10sec, then went cold again. 7. Unprompted, they refunded/compensated me for my troubles, which was nice of them. 8. It was a super frustrating visit though, I couldn't relax. Or shower. 9. Clothes washer was great to have 10. On a good bus line
