Renovated Canal Home WiFi Private Dock Close to Beach

Renovated house on canal close to public beach access.

Thank you for visiting “Holden It Down” a 4 bedroom 2 bath beach house located on deep canal.

This is a newly renovated 4 bedroom 2 bathroom home on the canal with just a short walk to the beach. The beach access is just at the end of the road and if you bring your boat you can dock it at ease any time at our private dock. This home provides covered porches and a large covered entertaining area underneath the house. It has a nice large fenced in back yard for relaxing or playing games with the family.

We do not allow inflatable pools and/or kiddy pools. We have allowed this in the past however we are left with dead grass and high water bills.

Vacation

We stayed for a week at this lovely home. The owners are very quick to respond. The view was beautiful and just a 3 min walk to the beach. Check in was easy!! We are 100% going to return next year as we do plan a vacation every year for a week.

Perfect beach week

We had a great time! The house was clean and comfortable. Bring extra toilet paper. The house is short walk to the beach. It’s also stocked with games and puzzles if you don’t want to go to the beach. We rented a beach wagon and some corn hole boards from a local place. The beach wagon was great, but not a necessity since the house is so close to the beach.

Great trip

Excellent setup, great location and we loved having the canal behind the house with the pier and floater. Short walk to the beach and the access ramp was directly in front of the road the house is on. Very nice place

Fabulous beach week

House is great! Enough space for 4 adults, 2 teenagers, and a two year old. We loved the decks, dock for fishing, and the short 5 minute walk to the beach. Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Only negative was cooking pans could use an update, but I’m sure that’s difficult with renters not treating properly. We hated to leave! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful, clean home! Loved outside sitting area! Comfortable beds! Very well stocked! Location is a little further down than we normally like but it was a great stay and plenty of room for the pontoon in the canal!

Beach Week in Canal Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Marlin Street! This was our first time staying in a home located on the canal and we are glad we did. The dock offered fishing for our sons, which they thoroughly enjoyed. My favorite part of the home was the outdoor area...the dock and the porch swing and seating underneath the home. It was very relaxing in the evenings as it was shaded and a nice break from the hot sun! This was also our first time in Holden Beach and we really enjoyed the area!

Annual Fishing Trip

The house was very clean inside and out. We had 4 adults and 2 kids under eight and had plenty of room. The fenced in back yard was great for the kids to play. We brought our boat and kept it at the dock and fished every day. It is a straight shot down the canal to the intra coastal water way. We brought our golf cart and enjoyed exploring the island. We will definitley plan to come back for our fishing trip next year.

Quiet and relaxing

First time staying at Holden Beach with my elderly parents and brother and his two kids. Nice quiet area, comfortable home, nice boat and dock access. We rented a pontoon for two days and it was easy using the dock. Nice outdoor sitting area on both sides of the house and underneath the swing was a hit for everyone. Only complaint would be the elevated height of the queen beds were a little challenging for my parents. So if you have older ones with you keep this in mind. The closest beach access was closed for construction so that was unfortunate but hopefully will be ready for future renters. Overall a really nice rental.

Thanksgiving Break 23'

This canal front home is easy to enjoy. Simple to move in and out of. Really enjoyed the multiple large decks. House has been restored tastefully. Can sleep 6 adults and two children. This one story home has efficiently utilized it's space to allow for a comfortable rental. The house has a simple floor plan inside with 2 bedrooms on either side each sharing a bathroom with a shower. A large kitchen table and living room in between. Limited closet space but larger dressers. The kitchen has been updated with all needed accessories. Washer and dryer. The mattresses seemed newer. Comfortable. The house has a lot of very useful deck space with furniture. There are additional tables set up under the house. Modern dock. Short walk to beach.

Holden Beach Vacation

We had a great week at Holden It Down! The house was perfect for our family, especially the fenced back yard for our little grandson. My husband enjoyed fishing and kayaking in the canal. The owner was very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Would definitely recommend this property & would stay again!!!

This new listing popped up when I felt like we would not find somewhere to fit our needs and dates. I was so excited. The home and property were very clean and we had everything we needed. They have added rock to their driveway which is not in the pictures but other than that it looks exactly like the pictures. Our family enjoyed crabbing, fishing, and just hanging out on the back porch and one below as well. They have a renters closet with sand toys and beach chairs which came in handy as we didn’t bring any to save car space. There are all cooking utensils, pots, pans, dishes you would need. I would definitely recommend this rental and would love to stay there again!
