Cozy Blue Bungalow Walk Downtown! Free parking!

As you pull up to the Cozy Blue Bungalow, you’ll notice that it stands out from the historic homes on the street. Built in the 1970s by a local doctor who rented out most of the homes in the area, this little bungalow has been lovingly restored. While it’s compact at 900 square feet, it offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay.

With three bedrooms, the bungalow can accommodate up to 6 guests, but please note that the space is best suited for smaller groups. If you’re traveling with a larger party, be aware that the one bathroom and cozy living areas may feel a bit tight for 6 people. We recommend groups of 3, with one guest per bedroom, for the most comfortable experience.

The kitchen, while small, is fully renovated and stocked with everything you need, including a gas stove. The adjoining living room features a large smart TV where you can stream your favorite shows. All the beds are new, with hybrid mattresses that our guests love, and each bedroom has its own smart TV.

Though the bathroom is compact, the on-demand hot water system ensures you’ll never run out, even with multiple showers. Outside, relax on the back porch, or take a short walk to downtown Wilmington to enjoy the many dining options the area has to offer.

From beginning to end, the host and the home were amazing! The home is perfectly appointed with everything you may need and is a perfect location near the Riverwalk. Our stay met and exceeded any and all expectations. Highly recommend!!

This is a great clean updated space. Anything and everything you need is included. Great location to downtown Wilmington and Uber/Lyft rides are not overpriced from this location. I would only suggest adding more outside lighting on the driveway side of the house.

We loved this cozy little place, however did not know where exactly the garbage was to go or how. Ice cube trays were cracked and had leaked before we got there in the freezer, though you'd like to know. Also kitchen towels, hot pads would have been nice too. Neighborhood was quiet except for a few planes/jets/helicopters every now and then. Neighbor was friendly and we appreciated that. Not far from necessities, appreciated the book left with all kinds of info for the area.

Quick Overnight stay

This was a quick overnight stay for my son and his friends for spring break. The place was in walking distance to the downtown areas for them to go out and not worry about driving. Will definitely keep this in mind for future trips to Wilmington!

Visiting Wilmington for a Downtown Wedding

We loved the house! It was perfect for our needs. I was traveling with my adult brother and my elderly mother. The house had 3 bedrooms, with 3 queen beds, and 3 Roku tvs. It fit us wonderfully. The house was very appealing on the outside, and when we entered, It was just a delight! There were water and snacks waiting, as well as several special touches in the house. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there, like shampoo, and washing machine soap and dishwasher soap, and an iron and small ironing board. There was parking for 2 cars. The towels were so nice! The shower was great! There was a very pleasant deck in the back, and my family enjoyed using that. I guess if I had to criticize anything, it was that the bathroom door was a sliding barn door style, so it provided very little privacy. If one is traveling with an immediate family, that may not be an issue, but traveling with friends and acquaintances, it could be a little awkward to meet your personal and private needs in the bathroom. We would love to return to this location someday! There was so much to do in the downtown area, and we want to come back and see it all! This property was well-maintained and in a safe location, and again, it was just a delight! Thank you so much!
