Great Place

The owner was very accommodating and the location was perfect for us. Quiet area but not too far from the Key West activities and nightlife. We enjoyed visiting and getting to know some of the residents while at the pool, which was just steps out our back door. Everyone there is very friendly. We are already looking forward to our next trip down!

Relaxing time in Key West gated community

We enjoyed are stay, being pool side was awesome! The unit was very clean and well stocked with the basic necessities. I also loved my my morning walks and friendly neighbors! The only downside was battling for a parking space in front of our unit, there is no designated spots. Since a guest lot was fairly close the only time it really mattered was loading and unloading the car.

Awesome!!

This is our second time staying here. We loved it so much last year, we booked again for this year. Stayed June 2020 and June 2021. We just love the golf course community. Quick drive into Key West. Quiet when you return. Love the location steps from the pool. People in the community, extremely nice and welcoming. The unit has everything you need for an extended stay. Plenty of linens, pillows, towels, blankets. Lots of beach towels. Several beach chairs, noodles and beach/pool toys for kids. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals. Outdoor grill works well. Wi-fi works great. No issues with working remotely when needed. Nicely updated, clean and well maintained. Beds comfortable. Nice ceiling fans in the rooms. The only suggestion I have, would be to put a small chest of drawers and/or plastic stackable drawer storage bins, in each bedroom closet. There is no drawer storage in either bedroom and for a month's stay drawer space is needed so you are not living out of a suitcase. Closets are large with lots of hanging space, but no drawers per se. We have loved both our stays here and hope to be back next year!!

Excellent location.

This location is perfect—just steps from the pool but a feeling of privacy with palm trees and lush vegetation surrounding it. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. A dresser for clothes would have been nice as would a TV in the bedroom, although the lack of a TV in the bedroom afforded us the opportunity to do more reading.

Perfect Location + Note for families

First, this place is in the perfect location and is well decorated and was well stocked with virtually everything you need. The poolside location is fantastic. The neighborhood is quiet, and close to all the action of Key West but being 10 minutes out of the City was a best of both worlds situation. It’s amazing and I’d highly recommend it! The only issues we had were of no fault of the owner, so I’m still giving it a full 5 stars. If you’ve got kids (we have 3 boys ages 6 - 10) plan on some friction from a few residents and one gung-hoHOA security guard. Technically speaking, this house with its amazing pool and poolside location is absolutely perfect for kids. You can go swim, walk back for lunch, swim again. Etc. We’re pretty self aware and our boys are boys who do cannon balls, splash, and play in pools - but they’re polite to adults and we kept them away folks relaxing. About 2 days in to a 6 week stay, I got a call from the HOA office notifying me that residents had called to complain that our kids were too loud. I was poolside at the time, and it was 3:00 in the afternoon. They were definitely being “kids” in the pool and not laying there reading a book... but I was pretty shocked by it because it was nothing atypical of kids in a pool - intermittent laughing, screaming, Marco Polo, etc. Also, the pool is open until 10:00 and 2 nights we let our kids night swim. Both times we were yelled at from some older people nearby who were on their back porch and really upset that we were making noise. Again, we weren’t out there blaring music, just kind of typical pool noise. The last lady ended up cursing in her rant that she hates renters. That made us feel great :) That said, all the neighbors we actually met and spoke to were very friendly (mostly senior citizens). Many of them commented how much they enjoyed hearing our kids laugh and play at the pool, which was kind of funny since a couple of people heard the same noises and called to complain. Again - none of this is a reflection of the owners or the property manager, I’d just say it’s the culture of this community that some people really don’t like when kids are around and given the yelling, complaint calls, etc. it certainly adds an awkward vibe to your stay. I’d definitely stay again, and if not for those run-ins with the HOA and a couple neighbors, it was absolutely perfect. So maybe if you’ve got young boys, just be prepared for some awkward moments :)

Excellent Place

This place is exactly as advertised. Super clean and cozy, access to the pool right from the backyard, very safe and friendly gated community, and just out of the downtown area so it was quiet. We could not be happier with the stay. Absolutely perfect!

Long Time KW Visitor

This is a great property and location. We loved the screened in porch and being able to walk out the back porch and enter the pool area. This location is a short distance from Hog's Fish, Roostica, El Soboney and Cow's Key Marina and of course Town-n-Tavern. We having been coming to KW for over twenty years and love KWGC and we don't even golf LOL!

Perfectly Poolside was Pleasantly Accurate

We have been staying in the Lower Keys since 2000. And within the last couple years have taken the leap to become a resident for a month. This year we dove head first into staying in KW. This is a great property if you want to be in Key West, with the luxury of a gated community and large lagoon style pool right in your own backyard! You have everything you need at your disposal with a short five minute drive down Roosevelt, including boat and bike rentals. We stayed as a family of eight (six young children and two energetic parents), and didn’t mind the cozy quarters. We would have preferred a bedroom television at night, but made good use of our time regardless ;) The grounds are well maintained. The house is well equipped. The updated furnishings give it a modern feel. Highly recommend this property, and will likely stay here again if we choose to stay in Key West again next year. Thanks to the owners for opening their home to visitors!

Awesome!

Perfect location next to the pool. The condo is nicely updated. Everything we needed including plenty of linen, towels, extra blankets, pillows and beach towels. Two beach chairs also came in handy. Rooms with nice ceiling fans. Lots of closet space. Kitchen was well stocked. Cooked most meals in and did not encounter anything we needed we did not have. No issues with internet and was able to work remotely when needed. Will definitely be back,

Great place right next to beautiful pool!

Quiet place to get away from key west constant party scene! Wish I had known you had to lease property for 30 days to have golf fees for $50 rather than 100$/ I was there 27 days and the golf club said that’s the breaks! ! Besides that awesome place to stay, hopefully I can revisit in the future!

We loved the house as soon as we walked , they had everything you would need for a stay , every night we walked 30 steps from the house to a huge heated pool , and as an added bonus we had it to ourselves nearly every night .We actually bought bikes and cycled in and around the area every day .My husband played golf a few times at the course and loved it

Perfect place to stay in Key West

We stay in Key West a lot and this has been our favourite place so far. We were a little bit dubious about it being outside of town but it is literally a ten minute car ride so was not ever an issue, and the bonus of it being outside of town is that it is extremely quiet. The property itself is gorgeous - very well decorated and appointed and spotlessly clean. There were even some little things like condiments and drinks in the fridge, books, toiletries, beach chairs and snorkels etc, that really do make all the difference. The beds are very comfortable too. You can see the pool from the property but there is never any noise because the complex is so well landscaped that the trees and plants absorb any noise. And the pool is lovely - very big and never full (and we went during Fantasy Fest) so you can always get a good spot. There is a little gym also which is a nice bonus. I only put a 3 for the checking in process because we didn't get any information beforehand so didn't know what we were supposed to do, but fortunately Jimmy always responds immediately so it turned out not to be a problem as he gave us instructions for the lockbox when we arrived. We loved it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here and hope to return again soon.

Simply amazing!!

Although it's no longer called "almost heaven," that's exactly what it is. We were allowed to spend wonderful holidays in this fantastic townhome. Enough space for 4 adults, directly at the pool, 1 minute to the gym, all desirable amenities available and a large dining table on the beautiful portch for a barbecue evening with the whole family (6 adults + 2 children). We will definitely come back :-)

Loved every minute‌

Very comfortable and clean condo. Nicely decorated and great location. Pool and gym were wonderful. Peaceful area but close to the action in Key West. Everything was supplied and really only needed to bring clothing and food. You will love it here.

Can’t wait to go back

We had a very positive experience at Positively Poolside townhouse! It was beautifully furnished with a well-stocked kitchen. We loved eating meals on the screened lanai with pool view. Also liked the porch off the master bedroom. Look forward to returning!

Great stay!

Our stay in June at Positively Poolside was a great experience! The townhouse was well furnished with plenty of amenities. The location was convenient and had easy access to all the sites of interest. We would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.
