This updated, Gulf-front paradise has guests never wanting to go home! From the casual nature and atmosphere here at Aqua Villa to the convenient location to shopping, dining and local attractions - this is the perfect place for your trip to the Emerald Coast.

This condo is on the 2nd floor of the Aqua Villa condominium, the entire condominium has four floors with just 24 units and it also has an elevator. The renovation of the exterior of the building and replacement of elevator is complete. Our beach is always less crowded than other buildings in the area. This is one of the few buildings that allow pets on the island.
Beach service with two chairs and umbrella are included during season of March to October.

Great location and access to the beach. Enjoyed having beach access without being overcrowded. The cost was more reasonable than you would find anywhere else for being directly on the beach. I would stay again.

A Time to Remember

Check in and out was super easy and convenient. While we only had a short visit the kids had a great time at the pool. The beach was steps away. Beautiful mornings and splendid views.

Location, location. location. Complex sits right on the beach, short walk to the beautiful water. The beach is not crowded like other areas. Unit was as advertised. We really enjoyed our stay.

Room was clean but mornings we were woke by 8 for construction. And floors were being sealed for half of one of the days we were there.

Disappointed

Was so disappointed the elevator didn’t work, many of the lights didn’t work including the outside door light. I didn’t carry paper towels or a kitchen sponge, they’ve always been provided. Lots of dust on the ceiling fans and under the bed. My dog found something weird. The snacks provided as a gift were a year out of date. Toilet seat was broken. Many little things really that could be easily fixed

Great Vacation!

Would definitely book again! Only issue was a broken toilet seat lid and the master shower could use some attention to the drain. It would back up quite a bit! Still an excellent place to stay and soo close to the beach!!

It is what it is

Unit was clean. Property was gross. ***Note- this unit does not have a washer and dryer
 it’s a communal washer and dryer that you have to pay for -tucked away inside a dark hall closet (tiny room)
 —Elevator was not working
 —there is no where to sit and stare at the water. The front and only entrance into the unit is on the beach side. No chairs or anything can obstruct the walkway. —This says pet friendly but there are signs everywhere telling you that pets are not allowed on grass. —key pad was not working so we had to carry physical keys with us or use a lockbox. (That caused some anxiety bc we did not want to lose them) —coffee maker is super tiny. It is as enough for just 2 cups (so 1 cup each if you are traveling as a couple) It was annoying to have to brew multiple pots of coffee. —the king size bed is in the guest room with the hall bath. There are two queen/full beds in the master with the attached (larger) bathroom —A/C unit is super loud! Positives: —you have what you need in the kitchen. Plenty of pantry space for food. —nice fridge design for organizing cold items and drinks —beds were comfy —nice water pressure in unit —close to beach —clean pool —quiet area —complimentary beach chairs/umbrella setup were awesome

Good enough

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The property wasn’t maintained very well and there was a lot of smokers. If either of those things are a deal breaker for you, I’d suggest somewhere else. In relation to the beach, it’s one of the best spots.

PERFECT

Beautiful view right on the beach, elevator was down but no biggie its a small flight of stairs to go down.It was clean and roomy, very comfortable beds and super easy 1 minute walk to beach.

Perfect Ocean View

My husband, myself and our 3 year old plus fur baby went for a weekend away and honestly the sofa was so comfy we ended up falling asleep in almost every night lol Location is great, it’s was quite, and worth every penny!

Spring Break

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Nice to have a variety of games and sand toys available for use, only thing we forgot were beach towels, which was not a big deal as there were alot of stores near by that had them. Getting chairs for the beach was easy and the guys setting them up were polite and quick at accommodating us. No complaints what so ever!! We would love to visit again next year!!

Very nice Condo

Condo is beautifully decorated and nicely furnished! Great view! Chairs and umbrella included in price 😀 But the condo was not very clean, sand all over the floors when we got there and one bathroom and toy storage room smelled like someone had been urinating all over the place, vents were dirty, air filter needed changing a year ago! But I did leave my I watch in the bedroom accidentally and the cleaners were honest enough to turn it in and the owner shipped it back to me which I am very grateful for. The fenced in dog lot to let pets use did not exist
 you had to take them across the street to a 4 ft strip of grass where you had to watch where you stepped because others did not clean up after their animals. And we had no idea animals were not allowed on the beach anytime at all or you get fined. Other than that we had a great time! Had 3 TVs, games and beach toys for the kids!

Less than perfect

Location amazing Beach amazing Condo unit not so great This was a quick get away for fall break. This was our fort time in Fort Walton this beach town is amazing quiet calm. Although we did arrive slightly early we decided to check to see if the unit was available yet which it wasn’t so we went to lunch. We rented this unit because it allowed us to bring our pet however when we returned at our check in time our unit was not even close to being ready. I called the number on the listed and was told that they had a lot of check outs that day and that we were early. We watch two people frantically clean this unit as the kids swam. At 5pm our unit was finally ready. It was still dirty and i was underwhelmed at the price we paid to stay here. There are so many things that need to be addressed in this unit. The washer and dryer ( which was pay by the load) on the floor of the unit was broke so nothing we brought could be washed or dried for that matter. You were given 1 set of bath towels with no way to wash or dry. The shower heads were so strong you couldn’t shower without it feeling like it was peeling your skin off and it felt like there was nothing supporting the tub below you. Dust covered the exhaust fans in all rooms hair balls on the floor. I really would like half my money back because I went out and purchased items to clean it was so bad.

2023 Vacation

The only negative about our stay was that we had to take our pet off site to relieve herself, (this was difficult as we had to cross a 4 lane highway with a dog that is scared of traffic) we always pick up after our pet. I guess not everyone does, (hence the rule) which makes it harder on everyone that travels with their pet that is willing to follow the rules. I did not see this particular rule anywhere when booking our stay, this information would have deterred us from booking so I guess that is why it is not on the booking site, if it is I just missed it. I did notice that not all who stayed at this complex obeyed the rules of not having their pets around the pool. Also was not clear that the washer/dryer was only for the floor not in the condo itself. The washer was out of order for the 2nd floor while we were there.

Steps from the Water

This was our second time staying in Aqua Villa but first time in this particular unit. The space was well updated and had most everything we needed. Great location to/from the beach and pool. The beds were adequate and we had plenty of lounging space.
