The Sutton getaway w/ pool and private backyard.

A family friendly home with a great outdoor space and private pool. Located in the center of Wilmington, just a short distance from the beaches or historic downtown. Fur babies welcome, Lyla the cat lives here full time, and we ask to please open a provided fresh can of food for her daily.
As we are pet friendly, but PLEASE DO NOT allow dogs in the pool. The hair gets in the pump, and without the knowledge of how to clean it, it will ruin the pump and leave you without a pool.

We enjoyed a fantastic day at this incredibly unusual and vibrant home. For myself and my parents and our two dogs, it was the ideal size. My mother and I loved spending time in the pool, talking, and unwinding; it was the ideal size. The location is ideal for both downtown and Carolina Beach. Thank you, Shelley, for a pleasant vacation. We want to return soon because we had a great experience.

Excellent time away, the place has character, so many fun art pieces and activities to do. The owner was prompt when there was a AC issue, addressed and fixed quickly. This home is lived in but thats what gives it such great charm. Would absolutely stay again.

Backyard oasis

We enjoyed our stay so much that we want to come back next year. We were on our honeymoon and there is so much to do in Wilmington that we didn’t even have time to go to the actual beach. This rental was amazing and the host was very accommodating.

Vacation in Wilmington

We had a fantastic time at Shelley’s place. The pool is always our favorite part. Our pups love the fenced in backyard and lounging near the pool.

Fantastic place ! This was our second year here and we will be back next year too . Fantastic host , very responsive to any questions. Great location , safe neighborhood. Home is well stocked and clean . Backyard pool is definitely a hit !

Nice Getaway in Midtown Wilmington

Shelley was a great host. We had a problem with the internet and she immediately came to help. Since the internet provider couldn’t come out, she brought us a hotspot. It’s fairly close to UNCW. We worked while we were here. There’s a nice office area. We really enjoyed the pool. The master bed was very comfortable. Despite wanting to meet the resident kitty, she did not show up most likely due to our dog. Our dog enjoyed the dog door and fenced in yard. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There was pretty much everything you needed for cooking. The Blackstone charcoal grill and griddle was nice. It’s a great place for a small family or two couples.

Your very own pool AND pool table!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sutton Get-Away so many of the rentals we looked at had access to a pool, but it would be part of a condo and we really wanted our own private pool. This place not had a private pool, but it was a saltwater one, and had a very large open backyard in which the kids could run around and we could play catch or other outside games. Speaking of games, The pool table in the house was also a big draw for us. We had fun playing many games and it was a very nice table with a lot of choices of sticks. You could tell that the house is lovingly owned by a very artistic person, because there are many , interesting art objects, and paintings to look at as you relax in this wonderful house. We will be back!

Couldn’t possibly get any better

Loved my stay at this wonderful place. The owner was so incredibly accommodating and nice and it was a great place that was well appointed and conveniently located to anything you’d need. You can tell the owner took great care of the place and thought out her guests stay with everything you’d need. The beds were very comfortable, it was superbly clean, had games, books, apps on tv, and just the perfect set up for an incredibly stay. I’d come back again and again! Thank you for such an incredible stay!

Son’s wedding stay

This home was as it was listed. Very cozy, had everything we needed in the home, and resident kitty was super cute. Would for sure recommend this property for a Wilmington visit.

Incredible back yard!

Great property. Big, homey, private back yard with private pool. Pet friendly and all necessary amenities. Close to everything, but away from the crowds. Nice neighborhood.

The backyard was awesome for the pups. Pool was exceptional. Location was good Check out time in website is 10; book in house said 11.....understood there was a cat that would be in/out of the house when booked; didnt know be responsible to feed the cat daily....thats something guest should know up front
