You're just steps from our sugary sand beaches, restaurants and local attractions such as The Gulf State Park Fishing Pier & The Hang Out! And, just a short drive from the nature trails and bike paths. Pretty nice condo

Enjoyed our stay. There were a few minor issues such as a small area of ceiling above the kitchen sink was peeling off. Could use a new toilet seat, hair line cracks in bathroom floor, but other than that it’s a nice condo. I did notify the management company and they responded quickly. Very Clean and great view of the gulf. Would stay there again!

Disappointed

Condo was ok. Had a very hard time locating condo. Sign not clear from street. No one available to even let us know we were at the right place. Bathroom very old. Tub/shower definitely not up to safety standards. Tub very small. Shower unsafe with no grab bars and bottom of tub slick. Also fell while taking shower. No bathroom on ground level. If you needed a bathroom while in pool or on the beach, had to go all the way to your condo. VERY uncomfortable. Main bedroom very hot. Had to use boxfan at night. Would not recommend these condos to my friends, especially older ones. Not safe for handicap of any description. Will be more careful before I rent like this again.

The carpet in master bedroom needs to be replaced. Condo was not to clean when we got there. Toilet needs to be replaced. The Sheets were not completely on the mattress. The condo complex is very old and needs to be cleaned in stairwell and elevator. Going onto the beach grass needs be cut. Would not stay there again.

Conflicted

I absolutely loved the view. HOWEVER we were told we could not get an early check in due to their high cleaning standards. This is a lie. When we arrived there was still soap with black shaved pubic hair all over it and the bedroom floor hadn't been vacuumed. I brushed this off as an oversight. The rest of the property was clean and the bed was comfortable. They did have someone come clean the next morning after reporting it but it was a slight inconvenience bc they never told us they were sending someone so we were all still in the bed asleep. The communication was definitely off. A few days pass and then me and my two children get stuck on the elevator for almost an hr. The elevator has not been inspected since 2022. I'm not an expert but I would assume it should be every year. The elevator is an outside elevator so there is no air conditioning and it was extremely hot. We had to call the fire department to get us out and thankfully a gentleman pried the doors open some to give us some ventilation bc we were extremely hot and my kid was having a panic attack. The building mgr did call me promptly and offered us a $100 gift card to Tacky Jacks. He was very nice. We had to walk up 8 flights of stairs until they got it fixed which was not ideal. Lastly, the person who runs/owns 8B never reached out to us once to speak to us about any of the things I listed especially the elevator incident. I'm still waiting. Oh 8B has no sheltered parking.

Great place to stay

The property is older but appears to have been recently renovated- the kitchen appliances were all new as was the bedroom furnishings. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we never heard outside noises. Everything was very well maintained and spotlessly cleaned. My daughter loved the bunk beds, with the addition of a couple of beach towels she had a cozy, private nook. The balcony was small but had comfortable, sturdy furniture which we thoroughly enjoyed. I definitely plan to stay here again in the future.

Family vacation

My husband and I took our three kids (3, 5, and 6) and this place worked out perfect. Great view from the balcony and overall great place to stay, only issue with littles was some of the doors not locking. When an issue arose with the security code to the door not working they had it fixed in a matter of minutes. I would recommend to any family!

Great Beach access

Booked last minute trip with my son. He slept in one of the 2 bunks in the hall outside the bathroom and I got the master. Great size for the 2 of us. Beautiful view and access to the gulf and beach. Only reason cleanliness got 4 stars vs 5 is the elevator area. The elevator to unit is right by the open garage. Elevator smelled and outside the building looks old and dirty, but the unit was clean and had no complaints. Would definitely stay there again.

Gulf Shores Mini Vacation

The view couldn’t have been better! We were on the top floor (8th). There were numerous restaurant options, however, the wait times varied from being seated right away to just under a 2 hour wait. Beautiful area!!!

Needs repairs and updating!

We thought it looked beautiful at first, but be warned, it comes with issues: Several outlets didn't work. Vacuum was filthy and unusable. Toilet wasn't bolted to the floor. Extreme mold in toilet tank, causing stench. Sewer smell coming from the toilet. Bathtub handle was falling off, leaking, and difficult to use. Found unsealed paint cans stored next to water heater. Paper goods were not provided (had to buy toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, and garbage bags). If all of these issues get fixed/replaced, this will be a lovely place because the location and ocean view were really nice. The living room and kitchen were very clean, as well. And the master bed was comfortable, although there was trash in the bedside table drawer from previous tenants. But in its current condition, it was not worth the cost.

Great location and view

Had a wonderful stay at the Clearwater Condo. The location and view of beach and gulf are fantastic. The condo is located a short distance from fine area restaurants. We will come back. This is a Great area.
