We had a wonderful time! The property is situated in a beautiful area—clean, peaceful, and very close to the state park, Cornell, and Ithaca. The access to the lake is incredible. Highly recommended!

Lovely cabin surrounded by trees and nature with path to your own private beach. Clean, pressed bedding, with a deck with lake views. Very conveniently located to Cornell campus. Would stay here again.

Not the views i expected from the ad. You are sitting behind / on top of the main house. It was clean and very nice, was just expecting closer to the lake.

We enjoyed a lovely fall weekend in Ithaca and had a delightful stay at the cabin. The views of the lake and Ithaca in the distance were fantastic. We knew from reading the description and other reviews that there are a lot of steps as the cabin is located on the lake hillside and that was totally okay with us. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You definitely have a feel of being in the woods, including the chipmunks running around the grounds outside. The cabin was a perfect stay for 2-3 adults and way better than an (expensive) hotel room in Ithaca! The bathroom ceiling is sloped, so tall folks need to mind the head clearance when accessing the washer/dryer. We brought our own pillows/blankets/sleeping bags. It was a short drive from the cabin to downtown, grocery stores and Ithaca College. The cabin had everything you need for a comfortable stay on Lake Cayuga.Thank you, Sally and Richard, for a wonderful stay in Ithaca!

The cabin was the perfect size and location for our family vacation. We loved the kayaks and relaxing by the boathouse. The cabin is very clean and well stocked with necessary items. We enjoyed the numerous state parks nearby.Like the other reviews mention there are a lot of uneven steps but they are manageable. The ceiling is short at points and the shower would be quite small for larger people. There is a musty smell from the bathroom that is easily fixed by opening the window and using damp rid.We enjoyed our trip and would gladly recommend the cabin to others.

We had a great stay early June. The cabin was clean, bright feeling, and spacious for a “cabin”. We came here to hike and enjoy the water. The stairs were not an issue and everything looked well maintained. The water was cold but great for kayaking and a quick dip when you got too hot after sitting on the shale rock beach. My son caught several fish right off of the dock! My husband and I don’t enjoy fishing however we enjoyed sitting on the chairs on the beach and watching him have a good time and looking at the beautiful lake. You can see Cornell in the distance which is really cool and the lake wasn’t busy at all so peaceful! It seemed like every hike we had planned or dinner that we had planned was under 10 minutes away, such a great location and a very nice drive to all of those spots. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Watching the water sparkle with sunrise light through the trees, and then being able to easily walk down to the beach was such a special treat! The cabin is fully equipped, the hosts are kind and responsive. There are so many wonderful things to do nearby, we will have to come back to enjoy this again.

Quiet, relaxing lakeside treehouse! Just minutes to Ithica and not more than 1/2 hr to many beautiful waterfalls and vineyards! Cabin has everything you need for a fun stay.
