Multi-Fam Beach Home w/ Private Pool & Game Room--3 min walk to the beach

Want to get your whole family together, but still have your own space to relax and unwind? Then, the Coastal “N” is the perfect beach house for you! Two kitchens, three separate living rooms, eight bedrooms (five with ensuite bathrooms) and a gigantic, private salt pool (that can be heated or chilled for an extra fee) just a short stroll to the beach.

Home History: The home was originally built as a duplex, but was never actually two separate units--it was always one home. The second owner wanted extra square footage, so he finished the ground level giving the home an extra living room and 3 additional bedrooms. Due to the layout of the home, we refer each side of the home as the "East Side" or the "West Side". The East Side is the side of the home closest the beach. The West Side is the side of the home closet to Business 17 (the main road that goes through Surfside). We cannot rent either side--it is one large house. The house has always been someone’s primary residence. We are the first owners to rent the home.

Basic Info: During the Summer (Memorial Day to right before Labor Day), we are a 7-night minimum, Sunday to Sunday rental. Labor Day to Memorial Day, we offer a 3-night minimum.

We do not allow pets and do not have an elevator.

House Configuration: On the ground-level, you'll find a game room with stand-up Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga game, wall-mounted Asteroid game, 115 can refrigerator/cooler and a 58" Smart TV. The Game Room is the primary access to the back yard and pool area. The Game Room has a commercial-grade queen sleeper sofa and a half bath. Next to the West garage, is a very functional office space we call the Seaweed room. It features a very comfy (and pretty cool) Clover queen Murphy cabinet bed. The office has a computer monitor/TV (with Fire Stick). On the opposite side of the house is the largest of the 8 bedrooms we call the Stay Palm Suite. Stay Palm has a King, a Twin and a Toddler bed with a 32" Smart TV. The connecting bath has a spa-like feel with double vanity and Jacuzzi tub/shower combo. With its close proximity to the Stay Palm suite, the Coral Reef Room will give those larger families additional space to keep their children close as they rest after a fun day of sand, sun and fun. The Coral Reef room has a full-size bed and 24" Smart TV. In the closet of the Coral Reef Room is one of the house's neatest features--a kid's nook called "Pirate's Cove". The previous owner of the house wanted "a closet in a closet" to hide luggage and other seasonal items. We turned this room into a "kid's getaway", complete with books for kids to enjoy.

On the second level, you'll be greeted by 2 kitchens, 2 living rooms and 3 bedrooms. Both living rooms have 58" Smart TVs and queen sleeper sofas. The primary entrance of the home is on the second level in the West Living Room. This is the location of the Smart Lock that allows guests access to the home. Additionally, on the West Side, you'll find the Tropical Oasis Suite with a queen bed and 32" Smart TV. Next door to the Tropical Oasis is the Go Fish! room. This room features a full-sized bed and 24" Smart TV (this room does not have its own bathroom). On the East Side, there is only one bedroom--the Blue Lagoon Suite. Blue Lagoon has a queen bed and 32" Smart TV.

The dining room is the connector between the East Side and the West side and features a large dining table that will accommodate 10 guests. Additional seating for 8 (4 in the East Kitchen and 4 in the West Kitchen) is available at each kitchen’s bar. There is additional counter seating for 3 in the West Kitchen.

On the third level, accessed from the East Side, you will find the Fin's Up suite. Fin's Up has 2 twin XLs, a 24" Smart TV and an oversized garden tub/shower combo. Accessed from the West Side, is the Anchor's Away Suite. Anchor's Away has a queen bed, 32" Smart TV and an oversized garden tub/shower combo. Both upstairs bedrooms have wall-mount AC units to help supplement the central air cool the highest points in the home.

If you are keeping count, each bedroom (and living room) has its own Amazon Fire Smart TV and is equipped with the local telecom's streaming service "HTC TV Max". That means only one remote is needed for each TV and every remote in the house is exactly the same. (No juggling multiple remotes per TV or trying to learn different remotes for different rooms in the house). Log into your own Disney+, Netflix, streaming service and enjoy your personal content (just to remember to log out prior to departure). HTC TV Max provides us seven (7) concurrent streams of their streaming services (which includes local channels, news, weather, and ‘typical cable channels’). The home has 1 Gig Internet so there is plenty of bandwidth to support many devices, working remotely or remote learning. The Wi-Fi has been optimized to ensure coverage throughout the over 4,700 square foot home.

The pool area has more than enough seating to accommodate 22 guests. There is a covered dining table that will seat 8 (it is shaded the majority of the day). The pool is 13' x 28' and goes from 3 feet to over 5 feet deep. There are a number of in-pool ledge seats and the entire parameter of the pool has a foot ledge to help little ones get out of the water. The pool is a salt water pool and can be heated (or chilled) for an extra fee. Due to falling foliage, the pool is not available from mid-November to late March. The pool is professionally maintained and is serviced three times per week during the Summer (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

The front-upper deck is great for early morning coffee or evening sunsets and features a bar-height cocktail table with two bar height Adirondack chairs and two rockers.

All furniture in the house is new. All King and Queen mattresses (and the full in the Go Fish! Room) are traditional hybrid inner spring, medium firmness mattress by Beautyrest or Therapedic. The twin, twin XLs and full in the Coral Reef Room are Vibe memory foam (medium firmness) mattresses. The Clover queen bed has a special tri-fold memory foam (medium) mattress. The home has been tastefully decorated in a 'coastal-chic' theme.

All bedding will have a full mattress encasement, mattress cover, fitted sheet, flat sheet, pillows and comforter or bedspread. Hotel-style blankets and luggage racks are also provided. We provide a small bar of soap at each sink, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, and a trash bag in each trashcan. Guests should be prepared to provide any of these items as needed beyond what we supply. Guests are also responsible for providing detergents, spices, salt & pepper, sugar, etc., as needed.

On-site Laundry: The home has two sets of full-size, front-load washing machines and dryers. Both laundry rooms are in each of the hall bath rooms. One on the East side and one on the West side.

Linens: All bedding (sheets—fitted, flats and pillowcases), bath towels and washcloths (one each per person), hand towels and kitchen dishtowels and kitchen dishrags are supplied via your cleaning fee. You must bring your own beach towels.

Located in the southern part of Surfside Beach, you are close to the fresh seafood of Murrels Inlet, the new entertainment district near the newly rebuilt Surfside Pier, the shops and restaurants of Market Common is a short drive and the Myrtle Beach International Airport is less than 20 minutes away. Feel the need to remove yourself from the laid-back vibe of Surfside Beach? No problem! A short drive and you can find yourself in the middle of all the entertainment and nightlife of Myrtle Beach.
