Two Direct Otsego Lakefront Homes ~ Sleeps 14!

Pegg's Cove offers two homes for your larger group. The main house sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms and has 3 full baths. The Boathouse sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms and has 2 full baths.

Located 11 minutes (6.3 miles) to the village of Cooperstown, 18 minutes (11.4 miles) from Dreams Park, 41 minutes (28.1 miles) to All Star Village.

Two Lovely, direct waterfront homes sit right above the water with stellar west-facing (SUNSET) views of Otsego Lake! Sun all afternoon! Unparalleled sunsets from the main spaces, decks, and many of the bedrooms. 7 total bedrooms, 2 with King Beds, 4 with queen beds, and one bedroom with bunk beds.

The main house has a large deck off the front of the house with wide lake views and plenty of space to grill and dine al fresco. Towering pines keep you shaded and cool, however if you want full sun, just head down to the waterfront area where you can soak in some rays. There is no AC in the main house, but fear not! The shaded lot keeps the home nice and cool.

The boathouse has balconies off of each level to ensure optimal lake access, views and enjoyment! So pretty and feels like you are floating atop the water.

The boathouse offers an AC unit in the main common area, which is comprised of the kitchen, living room and dining room. All of the bedrooms except the bunk bed room, have ceiling fans and the cool lake breezes!

Outside spaces ~ there is a beach area with paddle board and canoe, life vests, floats, picnic table, lounge chairs and a dock for your boat (up to 22'). Lakeside living has never been better!! Swim, fish, boat from your little slice of heaven!

THERE ARE NUMEROUS STAIRS TO THE HOUSE FROM THE PARKING AREA AND FROM THE HOUSE TO THE DOCK AREA.

BEACHFRONT AREA: Guests have full use of the beachfront area.

Returned to Cooperstown for a reunion of friends who spent summers on the lake. The Boathouse was the perfect spot to stay - convenient to town, super comfortable, tremendous views, friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended!

Perfect for Nature Lovers!

Incredible views! Close to town. We came for the Glimmerglass Opera Festival, but our family loved hanging out by the lake and enjoyed the paddleboard and floats provided. The layout of the house worked well for us. Kitchen was fully stocked. Would recommend!

Baseball retreat

We stayed here while our boys played at Cooperstown All Star Village. It was about 20 minutes from the complex. The drive was not bad, beautiful scenery. The home is just what we needed. Beautiful views, quiet surroundings and it had everything we needed.

Aside from the stairs (necessary for mountain locations) and warm downstairs bedroom (no cooling system) all was nominal! We will likely book again for next year if it’s available!!!!

Cooperstown Dreams Park Trip

We really enjoyed our week in Cooperstown while our eldest son played baseball. For the younger boys, this location was fantastic as they could fish off the pier and paddleboard around the lake. The lake itself is extremely pretty and safe. It was about 20 minutes from the park which wasn't bad at all. I will say that there were no towels, only rags, so would recommend bringing towels. And the pillows were worn very thin so maybe bring pillows, as well. The kitchen had every amenity. The views were stunning and we would stay there again.

Beautiful water, lots of stairs

The Boathouse is located down 67 stairs - which we read about in the description - still a workout, especially when loading in or out. The property was perfect for our family of four. There were lots of bugs on the windows, so we decided to keep them closed at all times. The window AC unit cooled the house enough and fans are provided. The house could use a refresh of furniture and towels. If I went again, I would bring my own towels. The beach towels provided were great. The water is stunning. Clear and calm - unless there is a storm rolling in. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse. It was a quick 20 minute drive to Dreams Park and a great escape from our baseball themed vacation. Thank you!

August Lake stay

The overall property was fine consider the limited number of rentals available on the lake. The surface cleaning was ok but the place needs a deep cleaning and a freshening up of some of the furniture, bedding and water sports accessories. The back bedroom where the washing machine is kept smelt of mold and there was a vine growing out of the wallpaper,, the bedding (pilllows) where far from being fresh and very brown and worn under the sheets. The railing to go upstairs was pulled out of the wall at the bottom of the stars. The upstairs bed was extremely hard, the living room furniture was very old and not comfortable and the screen door had holes in it which meant that LOTS of spiders lived with us. The kitchen was great. The outdoor area (dock and shed could have used a good cleaning and organization.
