This home is professionally managed by Coastal Getaways, LLC located in York Maine. Feel free to reach out to the office for any special requests or consideration.

Long Sands Beach is a must-see when visiting York. Even if you plan to stop by this beach solely for the opportunity to take a picture with the famous Nubble Lighthouse of York, Maine, you need to add it to your itinerary. This beach offers a nearly two-mile stretch of beach fun and easy walking

Family 2023 Vacation

This property is perfect for a large group. The rooms are large and comfortable. This kids especially LOVED the loft area on the third floor where they often congregated. The location is central to so many things and you can easily walk to two beaches and the Nubble Lighthouse. All in all a perfect house to unwind and relax!

We love it here!

Our second year at this perfectly-situated home! My sister and I, our husbands and 7 kids total all find space to settle in and get all our needs met. The grow ups enjoyed the kitchen (well equipped but would benefit from a reorganization) and the porch, the kids loved sharing bedrooms and the fun toys, puzzles, and crayons upstairs. Easy to walk to both Short and Long Sands Beaches, also the lighthouse, the arcade and shops and ice cream and playground.

Family Vacation

We love the house for the size, it works well for our family. This year the upstairs air conditioning was not working, which made sleeping upstairs uncomfortable. We also had a bat upstairs, it was scary, my son was able to catch it and get it out the ccx window. I think the air conditioning should be replaced.

Nice space but AC did not work well

The location and size were perfect for our group of 7! But there is only 2 working window AC units for the whole house which when you are staying during a heatwave is not great. On the main floor there are 2 beds and 2 bathrooms along with a nice size kitchen and living room and beautiful outdoor deck! There is one AC in the living room on that floor but none in the bedrooms. At the thrid level there are another 2 bedrooms and a nice open area and a bathroom. There is only one working AC and he was scorching hot up there in the room with no AC. This would be a great early summer or early fall when the weather is more on the cooler side rental or maybe they could add some more AC units. Overall it is very well cared for and had a lot of great aspects but with the weather being 90 degrees it was just too hot for our group in there. But we would definitely stay in the fall or spring if we came to Maine then!!

Easy walk to beach

This is really like a three story house. You enter downstairs and have to walk up like the video shows to get to the kitchen and main floor. It makes for a nice spacious area for everyone to spread out. There were more rooms than I expected which was nice as some snorers got sent to another room. The laundry area was wonderful We cooked on the grill had lobster dinner and all the kitchen items we needed were there. Plus two tables in different area so the grandkids could eat at a table too. Loved the outdoor deck area. We sat out there all the time. We did not use any beach stuff as we brought our own but there was some in the garage. Loved the extra refig. We used tat fir all the extra stuff. Husband could figure out the tv which isn’t always the case. And hot water was abundant. We had a great time. Short walk to beach and town. Used the new beach buggy once or twice that’s now on the beach when we wanted to get back to the house quick but really no need to.
