Amazing Views of Ocean and City

The views of the ocean and city were amazing. It was nice to have a kitchen and refrigerator to save money and not eat out all the time. Parking was free, which was also a bonus. It was nice to have a pool. It was an amazing experience and would definitely come again!

As soon as we entered 1101 the Views were AMAZING!!! The condo could use some updating in the kitchen and bathrooms, but we came for the Views and were NOT disappointed!!!

Wonderful location - right on oceanfront

The location was amazing! The building and property not fancy and pretty basic, however fit our needs. The building is secure with elevators. This corner unit has many windows to enjoy the views of the ocean.

Beautiful View and good amenities

The view and ocean breezes were amazing. The beds were comfortable, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided, the building and parking garage felt safe, and it's right on the boardwalk with the beach just steps away. The hot tub was wonderful. The views from the rooftop observation deck were amazing.

Tried to escape the heat

We tried to escape the AZ heat but unfortunately there was a ridiculous heatwave for our stay. The unit didn’t have A/C but we made do. We loved the location and the unit met our needs.

Bare bones and Great location

The condo has good space, thin towels, not great carpet, its pretty bare bones, wifi kept shutting off every couple hrs. asked for help - worked for a half day, then not again, etc. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. No AC so just be aware.

Loved hearing the ocean

Our late night check in was super easy. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Our car was too big for our reserved spot, but the off-site lot was made available to us and it was great. It was clear that the management company takes pride in their work. The property and facilities were clean and functional. The lobby area was decorated for the holidays. Our unit was also clean with ample linens. Coin-operated laundry area was convenient. The unit itself had phenomenal views! We loved hearing the ocean through the wide open windows, even in December. The layout was perfect for our family of four. Two beds in the second room was a bonus for traveling with teens.

The View

We have been coming back to the Capri for years. The great view of the ocean and the proximity to shops and restaurants is great. The Capri is not a hotel and each condo has different amenities. We were with three families in three units this year and all had beach umbrellas and chairs which was new since the last time we were there. Also new was your fob would only allow access to your floor, the lobby, and the roof. If you’re with a group try to get units on the same floor. Each unit was in need of minor repairs and the one that needed immediate attention was fixed quickly. It’s always great to stay here and I thank the permanent residents who allow us to share their space.

What was not right

The following things we found very disappointing. Window in guest bedroom wouldn't open, locked due to being broken. Guest tub faucet dripped. Lots of broken tiles. Carpet at tile separated. Stove under burners rusty and black. Refrigerator rusty in and out. Unusable cooking pans, rusty and unhealthy. No pot holders. The views were great, that's why we booked it. We enjoyed our last visit that is why we decided to come back. We weren't happy this time.

Great views.

The views are amazing. Location is great. Easy access to beach and onsite secured parking is a plus. The unit itself could use some TLC. The fixtures are dated the carpet is very worn. Furnishing are decent. Main bed is comfy. The shower heads are built for people under 5 feet tall. We had a leak from the floor above us (?) that caused damage to the ceiling and when we asked for an update we never got any follow up from ASR management. Building maintenance crew and security crew were awesome at helping get ahold of ASR as their “after hours” line went straight to voicemail at 8am. I left a message asking for an update and all I got was a call two hours later saying that maintenance was looking into it which we already knew about because they had already met with us. Huge inconvenience and put a damper on the morning. Overall I would stay again in the same unit. And in the building. ASR could uses some work on communication and keeping the units updated and meeting the premium price that is paid by guests for this location and the expectations that come with that premium price.

Can't beat the location!

Gorgeous views from the 11th floor! Check-in was easy and lots of shops, restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Great View, Great Location!

Great View from the 11th floor. Awesome location, next to the beach and easy walk to many shops and restaurants. Check-in was easy. Had some issues with the wi-fi during peak hours, but otherwise no complaints!
