The Space:
#StayinMyDistrict Woodlawn & Dekum! This cozy & private basement Suite, is located below a vintage Portland bungalow. The apartment is ground level so there are no stairs to navigate at the property. Eclectic style & warm colors make the space feel like a comfortable Home Suite Home. Conveniently located in the NE Woodlawn & Dekum Triangle Neighborhood- walking distance to coffee shops, fresh markets, local dining, shopping & amenities. Blocks to Woodlawn Park and Amphitheater & public transit. Easy access to I-5 and 10 minutes from Portland International Airport.
Kitchen is small & efficient with apartment sized appliances. Refrigerator, stove & oven, microwave, coffee maker, and some small appliances . All utensils & cookware are included to make eating in, convenient and enjoyable. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner seated at the dining table! Dining table able to be pulled out to accommodate (4).
Snuggle up with a book or watch a movie on the comfortable couch with chaise lounge. Perfect for relaxing at home. Smart TV, with Netflix & Amazon and wireless Internet. Sofa also pulls out to a sofa bed for additional guests and there is additional seating in living area. There is also a desk, perfect for working remotely.
The bedroom space is set up studio style and opens to the living area. Comfortable King bed with quality linens. There is a curtain to create privacy for additional guests! Dresser and closet space for storage of guests clothing and personal items.
Bathroom has a nicely tiled shower and fresh paint, while reflecting the vintage style of the home. Essentials, paper products and high quality linens, are provided for guest A hair dryer and an iron/ironing board complete the necessities.
Full size washer/dryer is provided for guest use, and located in the bathroom.
Private exterior entrance, and FREE street parking.
A pack and play, babysitter recommendations, and childrenâs kitchen items make this home a comfortable space for families to enjoy.
**NOTE: This is a basement apartment and the owners live above. It is located at ground level so no stairs to navigate. We do realize that sound travels and we have added earplugs, a fan and a noise machine/ bluetooth speaker to help with sound. If you are a light sleeper this may not be a good fit.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire basement apartment with private entrance. Parking for this home is Free Street Parking. Owners live on site and wish to not be disturbed.
The Neighborhood:
The Woodlawn neighborhood is one of the most abundant neighborhoods in Portland. It is full of historic homes, amazing restaurants, little shops and coffee houses, and all within walking distance. It is located in NE Portland and borders Alberta neighborhood to the south, Piedmont to the west, and Concordia to the east. Its northern border is NE Lombard St, which can take you to just about any area of Portland. Woodlawn Neighborhood is a great place for walking, bike riding, recreation, and enjoying all of the sights, experiences, and eats Portland has to offer!
Just blocks from the growing business district on Dekum street known as the Dekum Triangle.
Getting Around:
The property is located a few blocks from NE Dekum St and minutes to Alberta & Albina districts, and less than 20 minutes to Downtown. Location is 10 minutes to PDX Airport and to Vancouver, WA. The neighborhood can easily be navigated without a car. The 75 & 8 Bus Lines or UBER is a good option if you don't plan to bring a car. There is a bus stop within 2 blocks and itâs easy to cycle or walk to local amenities. Itâs quite possible to never leave the neighborhood with plenty to do and see! Once you get downtown you can use the MAX light rail to get all over Portland Metro.
Other Things to Note:
Portland City Code requires that we keep a log with the Name, Address and Vehicle Information for ALL guests. This will be required before check in. If you are renting a vehicle, we will need the License Plate number or we will need to note alternate transportation (ie; air, train, bike) Please provide this information with your confirmed booking.
~You may be required to provide a photo of your Drivers License or Government ID directly to the host. This is for the safety and security of both guests & property Owners, and will be requested at the discretion of Stay in My DIstrict.
~ No additional guests and visitors/guests that are not registered on the reservation booking are allowed to be on the property after 10pm.
~ Smoking anywhere on the property will result in forfeiture of your entire deposit plus can result in additional fees up to $500 for smoke removal.
~ Housekeeping is required and provided every 15 days for an additional charge on all stays over 15 nights.
~ Guests should acknowledge that this is a lower level space with persons living above.
~This property does NOT accept Pets of any kind.

We manage the properties for the owners and can be available via text, phone or the messenger. We are local and can be available in person if needed. The owners live on site and they wish not be disturbed.
