The owner was fantastic at communicating & offering suggestions. Use the gate code from the owner text not the Vrbo email. The place exceeded expectations as far as location, decor, & cleanliness. My only issues were some noise thru the walls like dishwasher & kids and the security deposit made no sense. A significant $ amount was charged 5 weeks prior and refunded 2 weeks after the stay. That’s my only reason for not giving 5 stars.

This property is like a home away from home, everything you can think of to make your vacation special is right here. Neighborhood pool and walking trails along the "Peaceful Side of The Great Smoky Mountains" including bike trails, wineries, restaurants, and a short drive to the famous CADES COVE area in the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK.

You will love the easy going lifestyle of Townsend Tn. There's no traffic to speak of and there's some good places to eat, fish, hike, walk and ride a bike. Serious bicyclists will LOVE the local trails that span for miles. Take a day to enjoy Gatlinburg and it's many shops and eateries, then a day at Dollywood, and Pigeon Forge Attractions, as well as Maryville TN. SO MUCH TO DO AND SEE FROM THIS PEACEFUL LOCATION just a few miles is Tuckaleechee Caverns, then 17 miles to Cades Cove, 17 to Pigeon Forge and about 20 to Galinburg thru the park. Be careful you may see a bear or two in the area and you may want to try your luck fishing or tubing along the river. There is also a special persons park across the road along the river for folks who may have a physical disability that loves the outdoors. Take a swim in the neighborhood pool or crank up a fire in the firepit overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. Check out the visitors center just down the road for some hiking maps, and park information. Relax and enjoy PEACEFUL BEAR CONDO! WE are excited you have chosen to visit with us!
